I have seen so many people loosing their phone and not doing anything about it. There are anti theft software that can be installed on your phones. These software allow you to lock and trace the phones after it has been lost, stolen or misplaced. Most of these software are paid but there is a really good anti theft software that is free and comes packed with features.

Foursquare for Windows Mobile – Mysquare

Foursquare has grown a lot since its start and with the recent checkin my an astronaught from the International space station, it proves to be the best geo tagged service. Foursquare allows you to checkin to restuarants, cafes and other entertainment venues. There are a lot of badges to be won and often there are fights for mayorship for a popular place.

Windows Mobile users have not be able to join the fun because foursquare does not have an official application for us. Winmosquare; one of the first foursquare apps or windows mobile kept getting worser with each update. Thats when we found this wonderful alternative…

MySquare is an application for Windows Mobile that allows you to check in to Foursquare. It allows you to do most of the things that you can with Foursquare. The map feature is still not available for us as a premium version might be released with that feature. Other than that the application is completely free to use and is supported by a small non intrusive text add at the bottom of the screen.

Windows Mobile needs some good radio streaming apps. Apart from a few that we have tried, I think this one does a good job.

Slacker Radio is a radio steaming application for HTC Windows Mobile Phone. It works very well on lower bandwidth connections as well.

It also features a number of good radio stations as well.

Windows Mobile delete multiple contacts

Windows Mobile by default does not have the ability to delete or work with multiple contacts. I was trying to delete all my contacts on a HTC Touch to have it synced with my computer but found that there was no such options.

PPCContactsMgr is a utility for windows mobile phones that allows additional fucntionality when managing contacts. It allows selection and deletion of multiple contacts. It also allows you to add phone number directly from the call history menu.

Another useful feature is its ability to beam multiple contacts. If you want a fresh start of contacts on the phone use PPCContactsMgr to organize it.
