Its Day 3 of Lunar New Year and time to go back to Singapore Guinness Live Competition! Woohoo... this time round, we my group of cheerful friends, we will be bringing you back to St. James Dragonfly for the Guinness Live Competition.

New Year met up with my brunch of good friends, chilling out at St. James Dragonfly with a cup of Guinness Beer, enjoying the atmosphere begin held at and supporting our friendly friends on stage. Thus, two competitors from different team started to battle on stage again!

The two competition singer of the night was Jeremy from Team Shanghai Dolly and Yong Wei from Team Dragonfly. Although both of them wasn’t have well prepared through this competition but they did rock the audience below the stage. However, Yong Wei did a great job by getting the audience singing along with him!

Next phrase, it had come to the time where audience and judges have to decide the winner of the night. Well, after the professional review by judges, the winner of the night goes to Jeremy from Team Shanghai Dolly! Congratulation to Jeremy!

Day 1 of Chinese Lunar New Year went to grandma house for visiting and followed by relative cousin house! Such a fun day gathered the crowed with awesome CNY goodies snack and gambling. Yay! I believe that everyone love Bak Kwa and Pineapple tart, I love it too! Lol… And I can’t stop eating the CNY snack from day till night time.

Just had a reunion dinner at my grandma house, awesome home cooked dishes as well as the highlight of the day - the steamboat dinner. Likewise, today is also one of my little cousin birthday. The CNY eve celebration atmosphere increased and now is the time to countdown for year of Dragon! Huat AH!!!

I have started my long weekend! How about you? Chinese New Year is coming in 3 days time; most of the people are either doing last shopping or decoration before the actual day come. I went to have a walk at Chinatown and it’s as crowded as past recently years back.

The culture celebration has been always traditional and I am excited looking forward for the next few days. Family reunion gathering, the day where big group of family get together and have a wonderful reunion steamboat dinner and also share our endless thought in our mind.

Art Stage 2012 Singapore Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre

Loves the creation, Love our surrounding And Love brings you to your next destination... Last week, it was an awesome eye-opened opportunity to get invites to the Singapore Art Stage 2012 at Marina Bay Sands Convention Exhibition Hall.

Through the exhibition, it has exhibiting for more than 100 galleries art designs, I admired most of the uniquely graphic creation whereby they transformed from the real interactive world into a virtual unpredictable ideas.

The exhibition has also featured talented and well-known artiste from different part of world, including the east and west part of world, showcase top artistic design including, 2D & 3D graphic, photography and the combination of olden days memories. Thus, by looking at the exhibiting, I could say that creation of Love has no limit.

I love the colour and lighting been setup inside the exhibition hall, some may look colourful and fanciful and some may look very dull but overall of its creation, there only one world to describe which is unique. Things can be done in different way, exhibition also show how the artiste feeling toward their design and also generally to keep their peace and soften memories of life.

Last but not least, I have a great visiting the exhibition about the theme of Love at Art Stage 2012. I appreciate the creativity idea being thought and brought forward to the audience. Thus, I would like to give a thumb up in this Art Stage 2012 exhibition. *Smiles*

Chingay Parade 2012 Media Preview - Asia’s Grandest Street and Floats Parade

14th January 2012, Saturday evening, I was invited to attend this year Chingay Parade Singapore media press conference and the full dress rehearsal of Chingay Parade 2012. During the press conference, Mr Nan Juay Hng (Chairman of Chingay Parade 2012, group director of people‘s Association) has unveiled the main highlights of the Chingay Parade performances this year.

Chingay Parade (妆艺) is a very special kind of celebration festival in Singapore as it includes not only Singapore but worldwide because it is also known as people’s parade of Singapore. Likewise, through Chingay parade, it is a part of celebration where people get along together and perform as a team regardless any age, races, sex, religion and culture.

Three main highlights of the Chingay Parade 2012:
- New citizens and local residents of the Indian Community come together as one to prepare for the colourful presentation of “Indian Cultural Segment” at the Chingay Parade.
- Ta Ge (踏歌), Han Dynasty Song and Dance performance.
- Local Japanese Community performances sharing on “Ue O Muite Aruko” – voice of Love.

This year, the theme of Chingay 2012 is “Love, Care and Kindness Everywhere” and with that, Chingay parade has lined up the performances along a 360-metres waterway with performers making a splash and creating spectacular stunts and exhilarating acts with water.

My first time seeing Live Chingay Parade in my life, I didn’t expect the crowds and atmosphere was so wonderful created and in fact, all the performances had impressed throughout the night. With your own eyes, you can see how the performer had put in the hard effort and courage to perform their talent to the audience.

There were total of 8 segments in a row and each segment has its surprising stage of performance. it started off with the parade opening whereby it unveil 8 piece of dragon perform by 800 youth from Youth Movement. Coming up next they have Local and International culture segment, dream realised, and three part of Love our community and ended off with a Parade Finale.

An eye-opened media sneak preview had already made me so excited during the rehearsal. I admired the surrounding, the performances and the story that they want to deliver to the audience. The music chosen for Chingay parade 2012 was fantastic. I enjoyed listening throughout the whole media preview, especially when it came to the last song where parade finale being held.

The Chingay 2012 finale theme song was called as “爱让你看到” (Love will make you see). On the actual Chingay parade day itself, this song will be sing by our famous local artiste Joi Chua (蔡淳佳). Of course, there is more interesting part for you to find out on the actual day itself! I can’t unveil much here; if not here will be no more surprise during the actual day.

Well, you have saw some sort of sneak preview pictures above and I can say that this year Chingay Parade 2012 is definitely a must attend event! In every part of performance, it is unpredictable and it contain of varies dynamic spectacular view. Thus, it’s a good opportunity to take photos with your friends and family during the actual show!

The Actual date of the Singapore Chingay Parade 2012 will be held on 3rd February and 4th February 2012. Guinness Live Competition: Kenny from Team Dragonfly VS Willis from Team Firefly

Singapore Guinness Live Competition this time round brings you back to FireFly Bar located at Marriott Hotel. The two competition singer of the night was Kenny from Team Dragonfly and Willis from Team Firefly.

Let’s jump straight to the point of this competition. Both guy has been improving in their singing voice and good to hear those smooth, romance and relaxing song after a busy day. Both of them had sung my favourite idol – Jay Chou Song on stage today and it makes my mood feel even greater!

It’s very difficult for me to vote as in that both of them the singing standard is about the same. Therefore, their supportive audience has also tried their best to give their greatest cheer in the hall of fame of the night. Quite a challenging and competitive match between the Dragonfly team and Firefly Team compared to yesterday.

Well, in a competition, there will still be a decision to be make by either the audiences or judges and after the review by the professional judges, the winner of the night goes to Willis from Team Firefly with the score of 85 – 84 (Kenny). Congratulation to Willis!

What is your thought in mind having a casual lifestyle after working hours? Well, for me I am very satisfied with enjoying the atmosphere surrounding with a glass of Guinness Beer and chilling out with group of friends.

Weekly Singapore Guinness Live Competition has been updated on my blog once again! Today I will be sharing the competition between Regine from Team Shanghai Dolly and Kenny from Team Dragonfly which held at St. James Dragonfly.

Tonight… With a heartbeat, I can say that regardless oldies or modern song, both singers have brought up their rock style on stage and presenting their fanciful singing skills to the audience. The supportive audience of the night has also enhance the whole competition atmosphere by giving the cheer and scream to the maximum.

After the 45 minutes of hard rocking on stage, the judges given their professional review on the two singers – Regine and Kenny and had also finalize the result where it show as Regine from Team Shanghai Dolly has won this round of competition by the score of 90 (Regine) – 80 (Kenny). Congratulation to Regine!

Hi Readers! Guess what! You had just left with 359 days in year 2012. First week of January 2012 has passed without our notice, times traveled speedy without knowing its second and minute. How you guys had been doing in the first week of January?

For me, I am back to school as usual having long hours of lesson almost every weekdays, rushing off school project which have to be submit by the end of next week. It's ok, the longest day has an End.

And in the evening and night time, if you have followed my twitter, you guys will know that recently I been covering few events at pub. It was great to meet many new friends at the start of year 2012.

Recently, I was playing with my mobile phone camera application and I came across using those nice effects and apply it on my pictures taken. Sharing those pictures below here; yes is all related to food… Hahaha… Hope it make you feel hungry and tasty at this moment. *Evil Smile*

Woohoo! What an exciting night with the Guinness Live Competition held at Singapore FireFly Bar today. The atmosphere getting better and better as the new season of the year and contestant has boost up their Singing limitation to a higher level.

The competition of the night was Willis from Team FireFly VS Jeremy from Team Shanghai Dolly. Both contestants have shown up their powerful vocal singing competition on stage and I can say that they had made a great improvement throughout the Guinness Live journey.

Likewise, I pretty love the performance tonight because some of the highlight song had brightened my side of reviewing my opinion to the contestants on stage. Thus, although common song can be re-sing by different type of people but the in dept of song is to find the uniquely flavour from the singer voice.

Surprising the result turned out to be tie where both had the same score. Thus, continuing of scoring the result will be done by professional judges.

Therefore, after judge’s feedback about the live performance, the final result has unveiled and the winner goes to VS Jeremy from Team Shanghai Dolly. Congratulation Jeremy! All the best!

Year 2012 The New Chapter for this Blog to Begin

Happy New Year to all my Readers once again! Woohoo! Is Year 2012 and I am going to start my new chapter in this blog. 365 days has passed, year 2011 has ended and it going to turn into history someday, as for today onward, we should keep on looking forward to fulfill our dream in future.

Tomorrow is my last day of school term break holiday, time flies fast, and 3 weeks of holiday has gone, getting ready to welcome the stress and busy days… Well, I believe that everyone is ready to battle for their next section of life.

Where you guys did went for countdown 2012 last night? As for me, I met up with my friend, Danial and we left our house in the early afternoon to visit the Marina Bay Promontory first followed by esplanade and lastly The Float at Marina Bay.

Yesterday, it was a windy and sunny weather; I took a slow walk around the Marina Bay with my friend, looking up at the blue sky and patch of white cloud above me, seeing bird flying around me beautifully, I stepped on my lovely country and preparing to welcome the Year of 2012.

In the evening, met Jessie and Shu Qing and together with my friend Danial, we went into the float of Marina Bay for countdown to 2012. Woot! The place was extremely crowded last night, about 20k of people surrounded the Marina Bay area, waiting for the clock to strike at 12AM and capture the fireworks moment. Here is the message I written last midnight on my 微博: “ 祝大家2012年快樂！！剛從和幾位好友到了新加坡濱海灣浮動平台倒數迎接2012年場面氣氛十足大家都很開心新的一到來。。。今晚的煙火也顯得很燦爛搭配著美麗的音樂背景著的是令我大開眼界！哈哈在新的一年裡我希望大家天天過得開開心心平平安安。。今年一定會比去年好！”

It was a memorable night on the last day of Year 2011 and the first minute of Year 2012. One year has passed again; I think is time for you guys to write out your New Year resolution! Anyway, I hope everyone dream may come true and success this year!
