Europe is probably one of the best destinations for the shoe string traveler. There are so many opportunities and places to see and learn new and exciting things.<br />I personally spent 6 months with only a backpack and a train pass with no itinerary. There is nothing compared to the freedom and experience when backpacking in Europe. Most people were just out of school or on a break. I can tell you this.
