1.     Stay Away From Sugar

One way how to prevent yeast infections is by eating a diet low in sugar.  A lot of people refer to this kind of diet as the “Candida Diet” and it involves totally cutting out sugar.  This means no more sugary snacks which contain tons of refined sugar or even eating fruits which contain natural sugars.  It’s a tough diet to stick to, but it does work.

2.     Stay Dry

Another way to keep the yeast at bay is to make sure your underside is dry at all times.  This means to pay extra special attention to that area when you’re towel drying yourself after a shower, make sure you’re not getting into your panties with any extra moisture down there.

3.    No Panties?

And this brings us to #3, which is to avoid panties if at all possible!  The reason being that leaving that area open to airflow is a better way to deal with the yeast infection than to keep it constricted and stuffy.

4.     Don’t Wear Tight Pants

Lastly, stay away from tight fitting pants as these will provide prime breeding grounds for yeast.  Yeast love tight and damp places so stick to wearing skirts and loosely fitted pants.
