Hotel Association of Tarrant County members are committed to creating exceptional guest experiences and building lasting guest loyalty. Each year, HATC celebrates the hoteliers and hospitality professionals who go above and beyond to make those experiences truly memorable.

The HATC Annual Awards recognize properties and individuals who exemplify the highest standards of service, quality, leadership, achievement, and growth within the hospitality industry.

For Tarrant County hoteliers, receiving an HATC Award is one of the highest honors among their peers.  This annual celebration is about recognizing those who consistently raise the bar, inspire others, and demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to hospitality.

Who deserves to be recognized this year?

We encourage you to nominate a deserving HATC member, property, or hospitality professional who has gone beyond the normal call of duty and made a meaningful impact on guests, colleagues, and our industry.

We look forward to seeing you there!

We need hoteliers who love what they do.

On September 17 & 18 at The Renaissance Worthington, HATC’s Lobby to Leadership program will bring high school students together to explore what a career in hospitality can look like. And we need you to help show them why this industry is worth choosing. We’re looking for hoteliers who are willing to:
Share your story. Talk with students about what you do, how you got into hospitality, and what you love about it.
Showcase your opportunities. Have a table at our career fair and introduce students to the many jobs and career paths available at your hotel or company.
Help students interview with confidence. Share your advice on interviewing, making a great first impression, and landing that first opportunity in hospitality.

You don’t have to give an entire day. If you’re willing to give some time and share your passion for this industry, you can make a difference in how the next generation sees hospitality.
The program is from 10:00am – 2:00pm each day.
Prices include both days but if you can only make it one day, no problem. We’re just asking a small contribution fee to help us offset the cost of the event.

Please sign up below to be part of Lobby to Leadership.

HATC July Luncheon & Industry Spotlight

July 16, 2026 | Loews Arlington Hotel

The hospitality industry is about to take center stage.

Join the Hotel Association of Tarrant County on July 16th for an exciting luncheon focused on one of the fastest-growing opportunities in Texas tourism and hospitality—the film and entertainment industry.

As Texas continues to attract major film, television, and streaming productions, hotels have a unique opportunity to position themselves as preferred lodging partners for production crews and even as filming locations.  Film projects often bring long-term room nights, extended stays, crew meetings, catering needs, and significant economic impact to local communities.

Our expert panel discussion will explore:

• How hotels can become more attractive to film productions
• What film crews look for when selecting lodging partners
• The steps hotels can take to become potential shooting locations
• How to market your property as a niche destination for the entertainment industry
• The economic benefits of securing film-related business

In addition, attendees will receive an exclusive first look at the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association’s newly developed hospitality careers film.  This powerful recruitment tool was created to help hotels inspire and attract the next generation of hospitality professionals and can be utilized in schools, workforce programs, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives.

Event Highlights include:  Red carpet experience, plated lunch, networking opportunities and more!

Whether you’re looking to diversify your hotel’s business mix, generate long-term room revenue, enhance your property’s visibility, or build your future workforce pipeline, this is a luncheon you won’t want to miss.  Step into the spotlight and discover how your hotel can play a leading role in Texas’ growing film industry by registering via the link below.

Tickets will be delivered electronically, so please provide the correct email address when registering.  Due to high attendance, we will not be able to invoice or accept payments on the day of the event.  With the Yankees in town for this game, we anticipate a sell-out crowd—so don’t wait to secure your tickets!  We won’t be able to get more tickets once we are sold out.  A huge thank you to our sponsors for making this event possible: Versacor, SPSD Landscaping, GTL Transportation, Ben E. Keith Beverages, and the Hilton Arlington.
