Recently I have been trying out staying in hotel room which has club lounge.
Traders hotel klcc and doubletree kl are my top 2. With traders hotel slightly cheaper than doubletree,

Their pool is covered, but cons is it open only till 7pm

the klcc view is magnificent if ur room is facing it

their lounge dinner cocktail food items is quite limited, but still worth a stay as their main is yummy on the day I stayed

we stayed Club room which allow us access to club lounge all the time. Child not allowed in club lounge after 7pm. They have this after-dinner-kinda cocktail hour where they serve this yummy chocolate truffle which I didn’t take picture of. However overall, I don’t think will stay here again as the pool is very dated and very odd shape(hard to swim) and the room is freezing cold during night sleep even when we off the air con. Club lounge allow me to eat with a toddler comfortable, without rush etc

they don’t have fresh juice in lounge breakfast. And even the juice in buffet breakfast don’t have the standard orange juice. I don’t mind eating in club lounge breakfast even the selection is smaller, as the buffet breakfast is not that better.

they tried to charge a bit expensive this time, but I think we managed to nego to what we paid previously, ie RM80/24 hour, which was what we paid just 6 months earlier

first time eating here Maklang, can skip the mee udamg, the as laksa and keropok lekor quite nice. The lekor is locally produced which is not chewy like those from terengganu, not really used to this floury texture but it grew on me, and serving piping hot definitely make it enjoyable. Don’t mind coming again especially to try cucur which not avail on that day

Ikan bilis, they got so many type, I just bought 2 type, one of it is bilis lemak

all the choc I bought. The almond thin not nice, sweeter than what I like and not really crispy

Aramg BBQ restaurant just across the road from Lavanya hotel. Had an unplasant experience when my requested fresh mango juice is fresh mango + cordial. But their food is quite tasty

succulent activity in hotel, looks nice but a bit useless, the plant dies soon after that, all the trouble to bring it back to KL

we got this from shop in cenang mall like 80% off cos near expiry, but ph so yummy and buttery

overall, I dont think I will revisit this hotel again due to their buffer breakfast don’t have fresh juice which was available previously. Perhaps fresh juice only available when they are packed, and they don’t have less ppl this time. Previous visit has many international visitor from youth games. Their kids room is so so.

Haven’t visited FHM since long time, it is held once every 2 years. It could be the largest scale of food fair, MIFB is probably on the same scale, can forget about SIAL which held in MITEC

really like my visit this time as it felt like a french fries fest, a big yes for a potato lover like me. Overall, the fries are mostly fresh fried and piping hot. But I think my overall favourite fries is the fries by Clarebout(Belgian fries) and Farm Frites. Hungritos potato wedges also very yummy

they is one booth called kornspitz which has so many yummy baked good like buttery cookies etc, that I wished I have Tupperware to take some back :p

there is also a booth (Ammerlander) with many different cheese for sampling which griyere

Redman & payson Breton booth cakes with lactic butter also yummy. Hiestand with so many bakery items for sampling, Callebaut chocolate

cant wait for another french fries fest in 2 years time, and bring Tupperware
