It’s time to admit it: I wear glasses. I do. I can’t see anything without them. The problem is that I hate wearing glasses. I can’t stand them on my face. Remember how an annoying fly feels on your face? You just want to smash it. That’s how I feel when I wear glasses. I wish I was comfortable wearing contacts, but I can’t wear them either So I usually walk around in a total blur. Most of the time. Once in a while I go and get new glasses, just to cheer myself up. I wear them for two weeks and then hate them too.

When I heard that Alber Elbaz is designing eyeglasses for Lanvin now, I promised myself to stop hating glasses. For more than two weeks, at least:

I read so many fashion blogs every day. It’s a huge part of my job and it is also something that I rally love doing. Garance Dore’s blog is absolutely one of my favorite blogs in the world. She has an amazing French chic, she is sweet and humble, and writes beautifully. Not to mention her photography skills – she is one of the best ones, for sure. She produced this video for Tiffany’s. Chanel Fine Jewelry Ad Campaign

This behind-the-scenes video reminds me of how I felt last week, when I was in Paris for just a few hours – I felt like I was in a Chanel ad campaign I was there for 5 hours all together, and couldn’t put my iPhone down, I had to take pictures of everything, everywhere!
