Dickens Village Donation Center

Star Quality Volunteers! Our Dickens Donation Board is starting to look bare which is a great sign. It’s not too late if you would like to donate just a few items to Dickens this year to help with keeping the cost down. We still need items like Hot Dogs, Powdered Lemonade Mix and Apple Juice to help supply our pantry with the nightly needs for Dickens!

It’s simple. Stop by the Dickens Information Station, check out our donation board, grab a star or two, and drop off your donated items in the collection bin also located at the Information Station! If your item requires refrigeration or freezing it’s okay. You can still drop it off there and our team will get it taken care of pronto! Please drop off your items by November 15th or 22nd if you can.

We want to thank all of you who have already dropped off your items. We can’t put this together without the team effort that is Heritage Christian Church!

Christmas Shoe Boxes for Mexico

Please join us this year in collecting items for a children’s ministry in Matehuala, Mexico. This year our Christmas Shoe Boxes will go directly to this mission and they will send pictures and stories back to our Awana Club. Heritage’s Life Mission Pastor, Dave Damron, has been associated with this mission for ten years and we are happy to support these children this year.

Pick-up flyers at our Café, Children’s Check-in, Welcome Center and The Link this weekend. Our goal is 200 Christmas boxes.

Wrap a shoe box and fill it with goodies. Please include at least $5 to cover the shipping cost. Remember to pray for the child who will receive your gift.

Gift Suggestions:
School & Craft Supplies: colored pencils & sharpener, notebook paper, ink pens, construction paper, glue, scissors, solar calculator, stickers, paint tray, etc.

Toys: glow sticks, ball, small cars, plastic animals, kazoo, harmonica, yo-yo, jump rope, slinky, doll, toy jewelry, etc.

Hygiene Items: toothbrush & paste, mild bar soap, washcloth, comb, brush, etc.

Misc. Items: hard candy, lollipops, mints, gum, t-shirt, socks, ball cap, sunglasses, hair clip & bands, watch, underwear, personal note & photo

Boxes must be turned in by Sunday, November 15th.

Our “Discovering Heritage” class will take you on a journey of the essential beliefs and key values of this community of faith. We’ll discuss what the church and Christianity are all about. Family Clean Up Day

We are planning to have a church wide family clean up day Heritage on October 24th. (Rescheduled Day) We’ll start the day early with donuts and coffee at 7:00am and then work from 7:30am until noon.

We need people to sign up ahead of time so we can plan for supplies. SIGN UP ONLINE NOW
