I found this story from an alert I set up through Google and I wanted to share it with everyone. Hopefully we can try changing the criteria for Amber Alerts to be issued and sooner than later. Check it out!

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An alleged kidnapping in Lubbock sparks change in Austin.

Improvements to the state's Amber Alert system are underway. The house passed a bill Thursday that would expand the scope of the system. Lubbock Representative Carl Isett co-authored the Amber Alert Improvement Bill which expands the circumstances for when an Amber Alert is issued.

House Bill 3385 allows law enforcement to issue Amber Alert for children in danger of becoming victims of sexual assault. It covers situations where a child under 14 is taken willingly but without parental consent by a person who is more than three years older and is not a relative.

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for eight-year-old Tatiana Jordan, who was last seen in Melbourne April 12, wearing a pink pull over shirt, white shorts and pink sandals.

Jordan who is 4 feet tall and 85 pounds, is a white, Hispanic female, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last known to be in the company of her mother, Sylvia Hernandez, who is a 31-year-old white, Hispanic female, with brown hair and brown eyes. Hernandez is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 250 pounds.

They may be traveling in a purple Toyota Corolla, Florida tag number 475KSV.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of this endangered person, is urged to contact the Brevard County Sheriff's Office at 321-264-5209.

I just wanted to share a little background information on how the company, EIS - Emergency Information Services,Inc was formed.

He went to bed that night and awoke at 3am and told his wife he had a dream of a way to SAVE TIME when children are missing. She said,"Go back to sleep", but he couldn't sleep and spent the next four years creating Emergency Information Services,Inc.
