On my way to Brazil on a buying trip as some of you who follow me on twitter will have heard. just wanted to let you all know while I’m away the team (Sarah, Nicola, Ray,Andy and John) will all be toiling away while I lie in the sun doing very little (that’s a lie but I like to taunt them with it). While mentioning the “Team” I should use this to say thank you for being so good they can cope without me for 8 days

So orders will still be dispatched and Has Bean service will not be effected at all. In fact if you asked the team they will tell you I do nothing while I’m there so it should make the whole operation seamless.

So Please don’t panic and please carry on.

Following on from my wine library TV appearance, some of you have emailed me and asked about who Gary Veynerchuk is. While I was waiting to film the Wine Library episode, he was giving interviews, and I thought I may as well capture this stuff on video. The quality wasn’t so good, and the interviewer was from .net magazine and asked some silly questions, but its gives you some insight into Gary and his book Crush it. Not coffee based at all but interesting all the same I hope you will agree.

For those who haven’t watched an episode before a lot of in my mug is inspired from Gary. He’s a legend and a great man and this is well worth watching (for me).

I hope you enjoy I hope you watch it and would love to hear your thoughts. I had the best time I hope you can see this in the video.

I seem to be just posting about new coffee’s of late, but thats because we have so much wonderful stuff coming through. Today I’ve added three new single estates (kind of, and a new multi pack and a new espresso blend. I know I spoil you, no need to say.

So the common thread through all of these is the Wahana Estate. This is the first time we have been able to offer three different processing methods from one estate. But on top of that this is the first ever washed Sumatra I have ever come across. Absolutely bizarre interesting and ultimately very very tasty. The puled natural is too very special and a first for me.

We have a UK exclusive on having all three methods too for now, which is very exciting.

We have also put together an Espresso Blend from these which I am REALLY pleased with. I wont go into the details of all the coffees you can read about them at the links below
