Cricket has announced the availability of the all new Samsung Messager Touch on their network and will be sold for $159.99 without any contract.

Samsung Messager Touch comes with sports a 2.6-inch touchscreen display, a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a music/video player and Bluetooth connectivity.

Verizon prepaid 3G data packages will be available today in Verizon Wireless Communications Store and online from September 28th.And re two plans, one of which is only meant for ‘multimedia phones’. This costs $10 per month and gets you 25 MB of traffic. Any additional traffic will cost you 20 cents/MB.

Other plan is available for multimedia phones as well as smartphones and costs $30 per month. This plan is supposedly unlimited, though how exactly that’s defined by Verizon remains to be seen.

Samsung has revealed few of the tablet specs. The “Smart Media Device” aka Galaxy Tab measures just 11.98 in thickness, weighs 380 grams and runs Android 2.2.

Samsung has also confirmed its screen resolution along with the CPU, which is a 7-inch display with WSVGA resolution (1024×600) and 1GHz CPU. Additionally, you’d get access to Google services, Android market and SNS support.
