HAAP saw The Fray last night at Royal Albert Hall (above) in London.  They played all their big hits and some new ones from their latest album.  As part of the encore, they covered Kanye’s “Heartless” (click here for the joint), which was pretty dope.  They definitely bring the passion when they perform and the guys delivered a great concert.

So who better to explain the unexplainable than mysterious pop icon, P. Diddy, who returns to the music scene with a new sound for his forthcoming album, The Last Train to Paris. The concept of the record is said to tell an emotionl love story that follows him along his journey for success as he travels from London to the City of Lights. The video for the song, Angels, was shot in black-and-white and has a backdrop of various New York City locations. The Hype Williams directed video features a soulful side of Bad Boy Records CEO, that most aren’t used to. The track also boasts the beat from Jay-Z’s descriptive cut, Where I’m From, with some old baritone Biggie recordings added to spice things up, as Diddy croons us with his vocals.

The new video for Drake’s “Forever”, featuring Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Eminem, is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while for the sole purpose that it consists of numerous Lebron James highlights from when he was a kid through high school and into the NBA. Haven’t gotten hyped like this from a video in a long time.

Who are you trying to be, Antonio Banderas??  Life doesn’t necessitate riding around with guns in a guitar case like ‘Desperado’ man.  It’s fairly simple (provided you aren’t a hardened criminal) to get a concealed carry permit in most states - we suggest you look into that after this whole deal blows over.

I guess Michael Jordan can’t be good at everything.  His 20-minute-plus Hall of Fame acceptance speech (click here for Part One and Two) has met with some not-so-nice reviews from Yahoo Sports and ESPN.

Rick Reilly from ESPN:  “In the entire 23-minute cringe-athon, there were only six thank yous, seven if you count his sarcastic rip at the very Hall that was inducting him. “Thank you, Hall of Fame, for raising ticket prices, I guess,” he sneered. By comparison, David Robinson’s classy and heartfelt seven-minute speech had 17. Joe Montana’s even shorter speech in Canton had 23. Who wrote your speech Mike? Kanye West?”

Ouch.
