			<content:encoded><![CDATA[The Sandown Greyhound Racing Club today announced the extension of its sponsorship deal with Macro Meats for 2010.

The deal secures Macro Meats the naming rights to the Group 3 Lizrene Classic and Group 3 Shootout, as well as naming rights to the Sandown Autumn Stayers Series – Australia’s richest series for staying greyhounds culminating in the $143,000 Group 1 Sandown Cup.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Exciting young prospect Do That set the time standard through the Meat -E- Vite Extra Pro heats last Friday with a scintillating 27.41 demolition of her rivals. 

Overcoming box six, she soon found the fence, and trailed the leader Lucky Rose Hi as they went down the back. 

Coming down the side, she railed through to take the lead and scooted away. In the &#8220;wash up&#8221; she bolted in by 5 1/2 lengths.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[The Temora Cup meeting has been re-scheduled after the meeting scheduled for yesterday afternoon was called off due to torrential rain.

The Temora Cup meeting featured eight finals and each of these finals will now be staged at a re-scheduled meeting next Sunday morning, March 14, commencing at 10am. 

Two non-final events, originally scheduled for last Sunday’s meeting, have been abandoned and the Club has called for new nominations, preference to 457m graded events applying.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) today confirmed investigations were ongoing into the discovery of a foreign device at the Richmond racetrack with the capacity to interrupt the supply of electricity to the lure.

GRNSW Chief Executive Brent Hogan said once the device had been found Police were contacted.

The track electrician removed the device before the first race on Friday night and the meeting progressed as normal without incident.

The first race the GBOTA maiden 457m being won by Scarborough trained by Nola Richards in 26.81.

First heat of the Temora Cup was taken out by Ricky Lee trained by leading city trainer Carolyn Reinke in the slowest heat of 26.34.
