“Does God Exist?” InterHigh Man on the Street Video

College students were asked the question “Does God Exist?” in this man on the street video, showing the wide range of answers that people give to this basic and yet tough question. This video was made for the first InterHigh Monthly, during which the students learned about different arguments and ways to answer this question. Let’s pray for the second InterHigh Monthly, happening this Saturday, which is on the topic: “Chance vs Design – What makes more sense?”

This is the normal vs. video that was shown at Phil and Cindy’s wedding up at Gracepoint Davis a few weeks back. Phil, as you may or may not know, is the famous “electric guitarist” who was featured in a “Praiseband Bloopers” post on the Gracepoint Worship blog a while.

Phil and Cindy are now ministering to UC Davis students at Koinonia Davis.

Can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving time! In addition to the Thanksgiving Retreat this Saturday (which is probably one of the most meaningful and uplifting times at Gracepoint Berkeley), we will be having the Thanksgiving Celebration on 11/22. Thanksgiving Celebration is always such a time of creative hilarity and (often) jaw-dropping performances, all for the sake of having a great time of laughing and fellowshiping together and remember the different ways we experienced God during the past year. And of course, it is followed by a great time of feasting together!

Here is the normal versus video for Dennis and Esther, who got married a few weeks back. This is a joint production by brothers from Gracepoint Davis and sisters from Gracepoint Berkeley, and is probably the first normal versus video in which a pastor makes a guest appearance. Enjoy!

Dennis and Esther are currently ministering to college students at UC Berkeley as a part of Acts2Fellowship.

This weekend was quite busy at Gracepoint as several couples got married! We’re thankful for this new blessing for our brothers and sisters, and also for the new normal versus videos that are made as well. Here is the normal vs. video for Richard and Jeanne.

Ice Cream with Acts2fellowship

For those of you who missed it, this was the acts2fellowship announcement video that sent tremors throughout Gracepoint Berkeley. Like with all acts2fellowship videos, you’ll want to watch it to the VERY END. When I approached Ander after watching this, the first thing he told me was that the ice box was still okay. Apparently that was the number one question he got after this went live! This is a video that you’ll want to bookmark for times when you just need a laugh. Can’t wait for the next one.

InterHigh Month Recap Video and Trailer

Here is a video recap of of the first InterHigh Monthly, which took place this past Saturday. The worldview training for the youth during this session was on the topic “Does God Exist?” It’s so good to see so many of the junior high and high school students coming out after RISE to be there for this special time of training, and hopefully this can really empower them to be bold ambassadors of Christ on their campuses.

Sierra Lodge Gazebo Construction Video

This video is from the Graduate Student Welcome Night 2004 made by the International Graduate Student Ministry (IGSM). It was filmed at the Calvin Lab on the Berkeley campus. IGSM’s Welcome Night videos always have a particularly scientific and scholarly flavor to them…I’m still trying to figure out what the Van Dyke Method is. But wow, that footage of Brother H is vintage!
