AXA CREATES 'I RESPECT ROAD' FACEBOOK CAMPAIGN

If your a driver and probably even a passenger too there probably isn't a day that goes by without someone honking their horn, cutting you up or just being so disrespectful to the point it can be dangerous for both of you.

AXA Car Insurance providers have created a I respect the road campaign on Facebook to create a debate and discussion about the whole ordeal, and how we can try and get our roads respected again.

If your not a discussion person you don't have to do anything more than just 'like' the I Respect The Road campaign to support it and the Facebook fanpage and just see what people are saying.

It's not just the adults that are affected either. If you have children they are all eyes and ears as your probably aware and will copy the behaviour of their parents. The YouTube video here is a good example, where children act out a scene where they intimidate their parents road rage behaviour.

The other video is one of a series in support of the AXA Respect On The Road campaign following the ride of a London taxi driver and his passengers where they say what they think to the Cab Cam which is funny and interesting to watch!

ENJOYING CONTACT LENS BENEFITS

I used to wear glasses for years until the contact lens was invented - thankfully!

I really hated the fact that I had vision problems in the first place, so I didn't want to advertise it to everyone at the same time too. At the point I needed them was in my school days, so you know what kids can be like with their cruel ways.

When I wore the Contact lenses no one knew any different and I even forgot I was wearing them myself sometimes.

I tried out a couple of different kinds. You can get daily ones where you change them each night or the ones where you can keep in for about a month.
And if you have problems with your eyes such as Astigmatism there are lenses specifically designed for that purpose too.

Until you get the hang of things it can be a bit tricky, but I would recommend the daily ones first just so you can get used to taking them in and out.

Then I went onto the monthly ones, where I could just forget about them for 30 days. It's probably best to mark this on your calender in case you go over. Although I liked to take mine out after a couple of weeks and clean them anyway just to freshen the lenses up a bit, and in turn this had the same feeling when I wore them too.

If you don't mind wearing glasses of course you can just continue wearing them as you would, but I have always been a very self conscious person. The lenses have not only helped me feel better about myself but they helped me live my life the way I wanted instead of letting the small things affect me such as swimming, not being able to see something from afar etc.

It's definitely been a year for new celebrity wax works to be unveiled. The latest one is TV's nicest man Pater Andre. Even the creators of his model said 'he is the one of the nicest celebrities they'd ever worked with.'

His wax work appeared at Blackpool's Louis Tussauds museum, and Peter looks quite mesmerised by himself here doesn't he!?

I am wondering why Peter didn't wear the same costume as his wax work though. Isn't that always suppose to happen so you can compare the two or am I being too observant!?

I wonder what naked plans the 30 year old has for the rest of the month? She looks great on her Love magazine cover, but I cant help feel that she has been airbrushed a little if not alot. Her bottom looks bigger than her! I am sure all the men out there appreciate the cover shot though!

LEATHER LEGGINGS FASHION

Leggings have been in fashion now for years. Probably going back as far as the 80's. I'm sure we have all owned at least one pair in our time if not have some in our possession now.

My favourite ones at the moment are leather leggings. You can wear them in all kinds of styles. I like to wear mine with an off the shoulder top for a smart casual look, with a glittery top for a going out style and if it were casual just with a long top or top dresses as they are sometimes called.

Plus they will last you for a very long time. The material is strong and you are less likely to get any tears or pulls in them.

I find that my leather leggings are very slimming too. Teamed up with some high heals and they look pretty cool.

Even if they ever did go out of fashion I would definitely still keep mine, just like I did when pedal pushers fell out of fashion for a while!

If I'm looking for a quick fix easy going out outfit I will always choose leggings.

CHERYL'S FRIEND SAYS HER & DEREK ARE DATING

There has been a rumour going around for a while now that Cheryl Cole has been dating her dancer friend Derek Hough, who starred in her music video Parachute.

They have always denied the rumours, but Cheryl's XFactor colleague and choreographer friend Brian Friedman seems to think they already are and said;

"They are amazing people and they make a great couple. They are very very cute together."

Oops! Has he just let the cat out of the bag there? Question is are they or aren't they?

The two of them went on holiday together where Cheryl picked up Malaria and he visited her in hospital every day.

170,000 CIGARTETTE SMOKER DIES AGED 102

I was amazed to learn of a Croydon's woman living to the age of 102 and was a regular smoker.

In fact as regular as smoking since the age of 8 and on average had smoked over 170,000 cigarettes in her life.

Winnie Langly suffered from cancer aged 88 years old but survived it and had a pacemaker fitted when she was 98 years old.

Interestingly she actually quit Christmas last year as she couldn't see the end of the match to light her cigarette.

Winnie died on the 27th July, 2010, just one month away from her 103rd birthday. In an interview with a local newspaper a while ago she admitted that 'cigarettes helped her nerves in the World Wars' and that she 'never inhaled'

There seems to a few people hitting the headlines lately that have gone passed the 100 year age mark like the Worlds oldest man who passed recently. I hope I can be that lucky in my old age.

PARIS HILTON BEING SUED FOR WEARING WRONG EXTENSIONS

Hair extension company Hairtech International who Paris Hilton has a contract with, is now suing her for $35 million after claiming she wore another company's fake hair extensions.

There are using the terms 'fraud' and 'breach' in their claims, and are also saying that 'Paris' 'love of partying did not fit in with their marketing campaign' and 'cost them sales'

Come on are they really using partying as part of their claim? Hasn't Paris Hilton always been a party girl?

Also they are using in their case that Paris missed a launch party in 2007 when she did a stint in jail for driving offences.

I'm baffled how they thought she was wearing someone else's extensions. They all look the same to me! I will be interested to see how they can prove their accusation.

Toy 3 story has become a phenomenon. In the UK alone it has been announced as the number one animated movie of all time.

I have loved all the Toy Story series, but number 3 is definitely my favourite.

I remember when I was a little girl I used to have quite a collection of Venetian Masks, where my bedroom wall was covered in them. They really make beautiful ornamental pieces.

When you thought you had heard everything there is actually a restaurant that caters for pets.

Chew Chew on the Lower North Shore Sydney creates meals like frothy goats milk cappachino with diced liver on top, organic chicken risotto, bolognese, beef steak with mushrooms, chicken wings, lamb boNes and more especially for cats and dogs.

Nutritionist Naoko Okamoto runs the place that opened it's doors in June, as she said people wanted a place they can bring their dogs.
