I have seen many posting more than 5 to 6 AD's in a page along with Affiliates. I dont think that this will generate much revenue for them. How many Ad's and how to post the AD's?

Post only 3 AD's or less, lesser the AD's more the revenue.
Be bold with your AD's, Do not afrid to post the AD's.
Browse your page and find the place where the clicks are possible and place the AD's above them.
Place Square AD on the top of your page, so that there is a posibility of clicking the AD, while browsing the page.
If you like a Vertical bar, I dont think that vertical bar will yeild much revenue, because the content is in the middle, so people rely on the middle of the page, so concentrate on the middle part rather than the side bar.
Keep your page clean, Do not mess the page with AD's and Sponsors, People may not like too many AD's.
Do not post AD's without any

How to add recent posts to blogger?

Before adding the recent post to blogger you must need a feedaddress. If you dont own an account, create one with Feedburner.

Go to page layout and select Add Gadget.
Select Feed from basic gadgets.
It will direct you to the new page as shown below.
Paste your feed address in the text box and click Continue.
A new window like 3rd image will appear, select your options as you like and save.
There you go for your recent post.

You will get a pop up with so many options. The last option would be properties.

For a Quite long time I was not aware (till yesterday) how to change the rss feed icon, but I was really impressed with the beautiful icons on the blogs and websites. Atlast I found the path, I would like to share it with my valuable visitors. Here you go.

First create your Feed burner feed.
Once it is done Goto -> Publicize -> Chicklet Chooser.
You will find some list of icons, Choose something (anyways we are not going to use the one in the list)
You will get the code at the bottom. which result something like this.

Subscribe in a reader

Here is the Feed Burner code:

Ok Let check out what is what?
1. That is your Feed URL - dont ever change that.
2. That is your image URL. This is where you need to link the icon of your intrest (remove the text).
Get the image/icon URL, which you would like to make as the Feedburner icon.
Paste the icon code in the second highlighted area.
Save the code and have a smile on your face with the new Feed icon.
3. In the first image you can see the rss icon with "Subscribe in a reader" text. If you dont want that to display just remove the entire session or the highlighted area.

First you need to drive traffic to your blog.

More visits more clicks.

No visits no clicks, In this situation many of the newbies tend to click their ad, which result in a violation. Meanwhile No AD's No Clicks.

You will also loose the interest in publishing your blog.

Wait for some time until you get some unique visitors.

Place web counters in your blog. And track the count everday.

Do not forget to use Google Analytics.

Many of us want to transfer our Feedburner account from one account to another account. How to perform?

Here are some simple step by step to perform.

Click on the Feed you want to tranfer.
A new window will open as shown below Fig 2.

Click on Transfer Feed.
A Extended box will appera.
Give the gmail Id to which you want to transfer, as numbered in image.
A Invite will go the corresponding ID.

Some of us want to add our friends or relatives to contribute some contents to our blog. Is it possible? Yes it is. Google provides you all sort of privelages. How to do that?

Go to settings -> Permission
You will find a Blog Authors button, Click on that.
Extended text box will appear.
Enter the Email address of the person you want to invite and hit Invite.
The person will get the invite from Google.
Once He/She accepts the invitation, He/She will be able to manage your blog. but not the layout.
Layout is exclusively for you.

Remove Older/Newer post in blogger

Many of us want to remove or hide the Older/Newer post which appears at the bottom in the blog at the right and the left side.

Go to Layout -> Edit HTML

Search for "#blog-pager-newer-link"

Press (Ctrl+F) and type "#blog-pager-newer-link"

How to use Google Talk

Google Talk is free service provided by google for text chat and voice chat. The Google Talk client is only available for Microsoft Windows (2000, XP, Server 2003, and Vista). If you already own a Google id, yes ofcourse you can use the same for this as well. All your gmail contacts will be automatically updated in G-Talk. You can make calls or chat by selecting the partner on the other side.
