Compared to your average pregnant mother, a woman named Ani in Indonesia had a seriously rough delivery after going into the hospital to give birth to her son. She was a high risk pregnancy due to being 41 years old. She has diabetes, which puts her at risk for all kinds of problems. And, of course, there’s the fact that the bouncing baby boy she gave birth to weighed in at a staggering 19 pounds. (That ought to scare the pants off every expectant mother!) Ani’s still-nameless 19-pound son is the largest child born in Indonesia, passing a 15-pound baby was born in 2007.

The world’s largest baby weighed in at 23 pound, was born in Canada in 1879, and lived only 11 hours after birth. Meanwhile, Ani’s new son is as healthy (and hungry) as a horse. He is also 24 inches long, but that is only slightly taller than normal. This whole story somehow makes the pregnant man and the dodecamom seem normal by comparison.

Peng Fu hasn't cut his hair in 60 years

A doctor claims his patients remain healthy because he does not cut his hair.

The medic, 79, made the link between healing patients and not trimming his locks more than 60 years ago.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Peng Fu said: "I stopped cutting my hair and people started to get better."

"My medicine became more effective the longer I let my hair grow. Now I will never cut it."

The hirsute healer now has to carry his eight-pound mane rolled up in a bag on his back, according to the Austrian Times. It stretched nearly nine feet the last time he measured.

The doctor, from Suining in central China, takes his healing very seriously. He doesn't allow patients to touch his tresses and rarely washes them.

A chopstick lodged in a kung-fu master's stomach during a training stunt 20 years ago has been removed.

Wing Ma, now 40, accidentally swallowed the 21cm-long (7in) stick while trying to condition his body to take pain.

'It never came out the other end. I forgot about it until the other day when I started to get pains in my stomach,' he said from hospital in eastern Wuhan. China.

High School Boy Has Sex with 2 Teachers

Two Bountiful Junior High School teachers are accused of sexually assaulting the same 13-year-old student, after their separate relationships with him spiraled from personal conversations to the exchange of sexual text messages and phone sex, authorities said.

On Friday, the Davis County Attorney's Office filed first-degree felony charges of rape and sodomy on a child against Linda R. Nef, 46, and Valynne Bowers, 39.

Nef, a Utah studies teacher and cheerleading adviser, and Bowers, who teaches math, each confessed to having sex with the student, said Bountiful Police Lt. Randy Pickett. Until recently, the two teachers did not know about each other's relationship with the same boy, Pickett said.

The charges were filed after Nef arranged a meeting with police on Thursday and admitted having sex with the boy for more than a year, Pickett said. Their sexual relationship allegedly began in October 2007 and lasted until December 2008, he said.

During the meeting, Nef revealed Bowers' relationship with the boy, Pickett said. Bowers allegedly began having sex with him in December, and she also has acknowledged the relationship, he said.

Nef was booked into the Davis County Jail on Friday afternoon and has her first court appearance scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 27.

Bowers also was arrested and booked into the jail on Friday, Pickett said. She later appeared in court, where she waived her right to a preliminary hearing and

was ordered to stand trial. A felony arraignment in her case is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 16.

Nef, who began her career with the Davis County School District in 2004 as a physical education teacher at Taylor Elementary School, resigned from her post at the junior high on Monday, said school district spokesman Chris Williams.

Bowers was placed on administrative leave while district officials conduct their own investigation. Bowers has taught in the district since 1996 and was an elementary school teacher for nine years before she transferred to Bountiful Junior High in 2006, Williams said.

"So far, there is nothing to indicate that there are any other students involved, or any other faculty or employees involved," Pickett said.

In separate conversations, the boy and the two teachers began discussing personal problems, Pickett said. That led to text messages, including ones involving sexual matters, then phone sex and the alleged sexual assaults, Pickett said.

The investigation so far indicates none of the alleged sex acts occurred at the school, Pickett said. Instead, the teachers allegedly went with the student to homes, parking lots or parks in Bountiful, Woods Cross, Farmington and Kaysville.

Williams said parents picking up their children from the school Friday expressed disbelief and shock. Jenifer Wright, whose eighth-grade daughter attends the school, said the news alarmed her.

"It makes me very worried. I'm very protective about my children," she said.

Holly Ruhr, whose seventh-grade daughter attends the school, said she is not worried by the charges because she has been "impressed in every way" by Bountiful Junior High.

"My daughter is thrilled to go to class every day," she said. "This is just a case of one or two teachers. Not a bad school."

Another parent struggled to believe the allegations, defending Bowers as a great teacher.

World's most pierced woman suffers from her art

Elaine Davidson, the world's most pierced woman, has added yet more metal adornments to her body, bringing the grand total to 6,005.

When first accredited by a Guinness World Record official in 2000, Davidson had 462 piercings, with 192 in her face alone.

Now, nine years later, she has 6,005 including more than 1,500 that are "internal".

However, despite her eye-watering record, Miss Davidson, born in Brazil, claims she doesn't like being pierced, and suffers for her art.

She said: "I don't enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level.

"I wanted to break the record.

"My family don't even like tattoos or piercings.

"But I am happy. I decided to change myself and be me."

Miss Davidson, a nurse who now lives in Edinburgh, was speaking in Darlington, Durham, as she opened a piercing studio.

She officially cut the ribbon at Arcadia.

Shop owner Les Fry said: "Elaine is a friend and she very kindly agreed to open the shop.

"We have got an excellent piercing artist who can perform the most up-to-date techniques."

Miley Cyrus accused of taunting and mocking Asians

Miley Cyrus is in hot water with some activist groups who are claiming that a recent photo of the teen star is racially insensitive and degrading.

In a photo obtained by TMZ, Cyrus, 16, is shown sitting on her boyfriend Justin Gaston’s lap surrounded by a group of friends all making a stereotypical gesture by pulling their eyes into a slanted position. The gesture is commonly thought to be offensive to Asian Pacific Americans.

The OCA, an organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the U.S., has slammed Cyrus for the photo.

In a statement on its Web site, the OCA says: “The photography of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian decent.

Schoolgirls banned from lessons by headmaster for being too blonde

A headteacher has come under fire from parents and pupils after banning two 16-year-olds from school for being 'too blonde'.

Raegan Booth, 16 (left), and Aby Western, 15 (right), say they were threatened with expulsion by David Alexander unless they dyed their hair brown.

The girls claim they are being forced to adhere to the strict dress code of Rednock School in Dursley, Gloucestershire, in order to sit GCSE exams.

But Raegan remains adamant that her hair is a natural shade of blonde.

She said:'The school rules clearly state that there are to be no "unnatural" hair colours on students.

'Unnatural hair colours are blue, purple, green and bright red. Blonde is considered a natural hair colour and there are many different shades.

'The head claims that he must follow the rules. To me this suggests that certain students are being made to look a way which is against their will.

'I believe this is wrong and no amount of hair dye affects a person's ability in school.'

The teenager, who is refusing to dye her hair a darker shade, added: 'As we are in the middle of our GCSE year, we should not be excluded over something so petty.

'This is a crucial time for us and we should be focusing solely on our grades as opposed to our level of appearance.'

Driver warned of jail's sexual gorillas

An Australian court has issued a blunt warning about the sexual predators a young driver faces in jail if he does not stop speeding, as authorities struggle to stop teenagers street racing.

"You'll find big, ugly, hairy strong men (in jail) who've got faces only a mother could love that will pay a lot of attention to you -- and your anatomy," said Magistrate Brian Maloney.

The 19-year-old male appeared in Sydney's Downing Center Court on Monday charged with driving without a license, failing to stop at a police alcohol check point and driving dangerously.

It was his third time before the courts for driving offences, prompting the magistrate's warning he would be jailed next time.

Maloney barred the teenager from driving until 2013, placed him on a 12-month good behavior bond and ordered him to do 150 hours of community work.

Breaching any of these conditions would see the teenager jailed where he would "shower with the gorillas in the mist down at Long Bay jail," said Maloney, his comments confirmed by the court on Tuesday.

Lingerie Bowl Player Sues Ex-Boyfriend Over Nude Pictures

Melissa J. Berry doesn't mind prancing around in public in her underwear.

But the 24-year-old model and lingerie football league player draws the line at a former boyfriend - a safe dating expert - posting nude and intimate photos of her on the Internet.

Berry sued her former paramour Mark C. Dawson in Hillsborough County Circuit Court today, saying he tried to extort, humiliate and hurt her by showing the photographs to her mother and friends and posting them on MySpace.com without her permission.

She said he should know better because he markets himself as an expert on "healthy relationships" who has studied "success, performance and human behavior for over 25 years."

Dawson said Berry, who used to be a dancer at Thee Dollhouse, willingly posed for the photos and that he "never made anything public.

Man sells bubbly calendars for popping fans

NEW YORK – A New York City man has designed a calendar that will drive Bubble Wrap fanatics popping-mad.

The Daily News of New York reports in Thursday editions that Stephen Turbek is selling a poster-size calendar covered with the plastic bubbles. Customers can pop a bubble each day to mark the passage of time.

The Brooklyn man says he has sold thousands of Bubble Calendars. A handmade calendar with paper backing is available online for $30 and a plastic version costs $50.

Turbek says it makes a perfect gift for obsessive people — as long as they don't pop the whole year on the first day they get it.

Elena Delle Donne's decision to step away from playing basketball for one of the nation's top powerhouses stunned most people.

But when you think about it, maybe it's even more surprising that there haven't been more situations like Delle Donne's. There just aren't a lot of prep players who appeared headed for great college careers but went an altogether different path.

The fact is that most of the high school players who have been projected as the best in the country have indeed gone on to play four years in college. Some aren't as good as projected, and some have transferred. But the vast majority do finish their college basketball careers.

What has happened with Delle Donne -- not playing college hoops at all, although the option is still open if she chooses it -- is so rare that even the most well-known comparisons to her are notably different.

If you asked devoted women's hoops followers to name prep stars whose college experiences never came close to matching what was expected, two names likely would come up first: Nicole Kaczmarski and Nina Smith. And in a strange coincidence, they both graduated from high school in 1999.

"Kaz" -- as everyone referred to her -- was a Long Island scoring wizard featured in Leandra Reilly Lardner's film "Running Down a Dream," which chronicled the recruiting process Kaz and her father, Pete, went through.

Kaz, a standout guard at Sachem High School, chose UCLA -- much to her father's dismay. She played for the Bruins for one season, then took the next fall off because of injury, illness and an ongoing strained relationship with her family back in New York.

"She came to a place her father didn't want her to go to, and it was a huge transition," said Kathy Olivier, formerly the coach at UCLA and now at UNLV. "Her dad kept telling her, 'Leave.'"

Kaczmarski did indeed do that, transferring to Georgia. But she never played for that program. She went back to New York and attended Stony Brook, although she didn't play basketball there, either.

She was drafted by the New York Liberty in 2003 but didn't make the roster. She played overseas and had another shot at the WNBA, with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2005. But that didn't work out, either.

Tom Brady may be out for the rest of the football season, but he's officially found his Angel.

E! News has confirmed that the benched New England Patriot popped the question to supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bündchen and she accepted.

On Christmas Eve, the gorgeous exes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Bridget Moynahan (with whom the QB has a child) hopped on a private jet from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport to Boston. Also on board were four dozen white roses, champagne and the bride-to-be's parents.

Cue fantasies of a row of Victoria's Secret Angel bridesmaids and linebacker groomsmen.

Lance Armstrong and Anna Hansen expecting a child

Lance Armstrong will soon have four children to go along with his seven Tour de France titles.

Armstrong, 37, and his girlfriend Anna Hansen, 28, have announced they’re expecting a child next year.

"Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful," Armstrong said via a statement. "We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts. We appreciate respecting our privacy, as we are both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family."

Hansen, a graduate of the University of Colorado, is a Program Manager and Recruiter for First Descents. The organization is located in Vail, Colo., and it helps offer outdoor adventure experiences for young adults with cancer.

An avid recreational mountain bike competitor, Hansen is a volunteer at the Children’s Hospital in Denver and serves on the board of directors of Camp Wapiyapi, a foundation providing support for families with childhood cancer.

Armstrong and Hansen, according to several Internet sites met through charity work and have been dating since July 2008.

Armstrong met Kristin Richards in June 1997. They were married on May 8, 1998, and have three children: Luke, born in October 1999, and twins Isabelle and Grace, born in November 2001. The pregnancy was made possible through in vitro fertilization.

Armstrong stored sperm prior to having chemotherapy and surgery following his 1996 of metastasized testicular cancer. Armstrong and his wife filed for divorce in September 2003.

The expected child of Armstrong and his girlfriend is via natural pregnancy.

Three years after retiring following his last Tour de France win in July 2005. Armstrong announced in September his return to international competition in 2009. He’s scheduled to race in the Tour Down Under, beginning next January 20 in Adelaide, Australia.

Armstrong, who is not taking a salary from his new team, the Kazakhstan-financed Astana, called his comeback an attempt to raise global awareness in his fight against cancer.

Among other events, Armstrong is also scheduled to compete in the Amgen Tour of California (Feb. 14-22), Tour of Italy, (May 9-31) and Tour de France (July 3-25).

Armstrong did not announce if his pending fatherhood would neccessitate altering his 2009 racing schedule.

Man blows up apartment spraying for bugs

A New Jersey man trying to exterminate insects in his apartment blew it up instead, the New York Daily News reported on Monday.

Isias Vidal Maceda was unhurt in the incident, but 80 percent of his apartment was destroyed, Eatontown, New Jersey police told the newspaper.

The accident occurred as Maceda was spraying for pests in his kitchen. Somehow the bug spray ignited a blast that blew out the apartment's front windows and triggered a fire that quickly spread, the newspaper said.

Police told the newspaper that the Saturday blaze also caused smoke damage to the apartment above.
