  • Parking brake

Windshield and Mirrors

  • Safety glass
  • Outside adjustable rear view mirror on drivers side

Exterior

  • Bumpers
  • Tires with 2/32 inch tread, no exposed cord or tread separation.
  • Exhaust in good working order (not applicable to electric carts)
  • Differential gear

Looking for input on this important question. What really is the difference between a 36 volt cart and a 48 volt cart. (beyond the 12 volts).

I’ve seem some claims that 36 volt will have more torque. I also hear that 48 volt will give better “performance”. But what are the real details and what is the real truth. What defines “performance” anyway?

Club Car was the first to create a 48 volt cart along with Trojan batteries. Was this a real innovation and step forward? Or was it just a way to sell carts and batteries?

]]> Getting a hitch for my Golf cart was one of the best things I’ve done to improve the utility of the vehicle. It has been absolutely great. I can pull the trailer around, haul stuff easily. For Halloween we packed up to 10 kids in the trailer and drove them around the neighborhood, it was a blast!

A golf car hitch can really transform your cart into a workhorse. The pulling power of even a stock cart is pretty good.

A solar powered golf cart?

Yes, this golf cart has 72 solar cells built into the roof. The solar roof gives you a range increase of 33% over non-solar electric golf cart. A series of cells are connected in series to provide a charge to the 48 volt battery. This cart includes mirrors, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and a horn. What a fantastic concept, I am sure down the road we will see similar offerings from other cart makers as well.
