The new mobile Internet cell site, designed to enhance service to businesses and neighborhoods along Route 1, was activated Tuesday. The new cell site will add more comprehensive coverage to the area in general, while relieving other cell sites in the vicinity. This will provide a more robust and optimal service to customers and businesses.

“The new cell site is one part of AT&T’s ongoing efforts to drive investment and innovation to deliver the nation’s best, most advanced mobile Internet experience for customers,” states a release from AT&T

In order to help raise some additional funds for local projects and organizations, they have launched a new site called Search4Rotary.com. When you use Search4Rotary.com to search the internet (results provided by Google), Google will share a portion of the advertising revenues with the Great Falls Rotary Club. Utilizing this site is one quick way we can all give back to Northern Virginia.
