I had to take a student Portfolio rendered in Flex and put it in a printable format.  After reading and trying, I remain skeptic over which technology serve our needs the best. AlivePDF has some limits:Its 72dpi so far..Does not play friendly with alpha in image.Its mostly a one man project.Does not offer a lot of positioning option. I'm pretty proud of what I did with it so far. I've made a MathTextinput, it's like a classic text corrector but targeting math and variables (I also used it in our authoring tools). Next step is to put a live binding in BuzzMath.
