2015 Fall Mini-Sessions

Hey guys, I’m still here! More on all of that later but for now, the important stuff!

I’ll be doing a limited number of Fall mini-sessions this year and the date is coming up soon! They’ll also run a little differently than they have in the past so make sure to read all the details.

Sessions will be held October 3rd from 4:15-6:15. They are 20 minutes long.

Raindate will be October 4th. Please keep the timeslot you book open on both days. If you’re not available for your session time, your mini-session will be forfeited but you may apply your payment towards a full session.

This year, you’ll pick a package ahead of time and receive a gallery of the best 8 or 15 images from your shoot, ready to download. You can also use the gallery to share your images with friends & family.

We’ll be shooting at a park that requires paid entrance. You’ll notice when booking, that the package totals are $5 less than advertised here. Save that $5 so you can get into the park!

Madeline’s One Year Photos

Miss Madeline is one! This was the final session of her Watch Me Grow plan and she went out with a bang. We started off with some regular portraits (that rocking chair was her mom’s when she was little!) and then got fancy and then got messy! I gotta say, babies in pearls are pretty darn cute.

Here are two storyboards that we did for Madeline’s session – three photos from this session and then her “graduation” storyboard – one photo from each of her sessions which is included in the Watch Me Grow package. Isn’t it fun to see the change?

Miss Madeline is on the Watch Me Grow plan aaaaand, I’m so behind in blogging that we’ve actually already completed her one year shoot as well! But this weather makes it a lovely time to think back to summer when we weren’t in a complete absence of degrees and could sit barefooted and barelegged in the grass.

Minnesota Cabin Memories

Here’s something a little different! This family has a cabin a few hours north of the Twin Cities where they’ve spent lots of time together. Now they are relocating to the east coast and wanted one last photo session at the cabin to capture some of their favorite memories. The whole extended family came to join in the fun.

I love this type of session. I’d especially love to do some Slice of Life type sessions at a cabin this summer. Does your family typically spend some time at one, swimming and fishing and hanging out and roasting marshmallows? This would make for a GREAT book of memories. St Paul Fall Family Photos

If I keep it up, I think I can make it through last year’s Fall photos before we hit the leafy season again! (Fingers crossed that it’s as gorgeous and long-lasting this year as it was last.) Here’s another family that joined me for mini-session day. I loved receiving their Christmas card a few weeks later with some photos that looked awfully familiar. :)
