Not So Glee-ful News from Glee Gum

Dear Glee Gum Community,

It is with deep regret that we share the news that Mazee LLC and its natural chewing gum brand, Glee Gum, will be closing.

The past several years have brought challenges that proved too difficult to overcome: the impact of COVID, shifts in FDA labeling regulations, rising distribution costs, and ongoing supply chain disruptions. Most recently, the tariffs affecting our Canadian warehouse—where much of our U.S. operations are based—made it unsustainable to continue. With heavy hearts, we will be ceasing U.S. operations and officially shutting down the company effective September 30, 2025.

Our web shop will remain open until August 28, 2025. After that date, we will no longer be able to accept orders.

For 30 years, it has been a privilege to bring Glee Gum to you. What we will miss most are the people—the loyal fans who shared their love for Glee on social media, the retailers who gave our bright boxes a place on their shelves, and the community that embraced and enhanced our mission. We are deeply grateful for every interaction, every smile, and every moment of support.

We hope that Glee Gum leaves you with not just a taste, but a memory: that natural is better, that sustainability matters, and that even something as small as a piece of gum can inspire better habits and wellbeing. Glee was never just gum—it was our way of sharing joy, good health, and purpose with the world.
