Note: I used iTunes 9.2 running on Windows 7 for this guide.

Before proceeding with this guide make sure that copied the lyrics for the selected song to the clipboard.

1. Click on the song that wish to add lyrics to.

2. Click on Get Info from the menu.

3. When the window opens, click on the Lyrics tab.

4. Right-click on the white area and click on Paste to insert the lyrics you copied from a lyrics site.

5. Once the lyrics are included, click OK to save the changes.

The lyrics you added to the song should appear on your iPad or iPhone while playing the song.

I will use the guide/how to below to walk you through the application features and how to use it.

Note: I used FoneHome 1.1 running on an iPhone 4 iOS4.01.

1. Tap on the FoneHome application on the Home Screen.

2. Enter your login information.

Note: You will need to create an account before proceeding.

3. Tap on the Login button.

4. Tap OK to save the changes.

Once you login you will be able to see your current location.

Note: Location accuracy is based on your GPS signal strength.

When you login to the FoneHome webpage you will see a list of all the devices you added to your account.

A. You will be able to see details about your iPhone including the current location.

You will be able to see the following:

• Date
• Time
• The location Accuracy
• Speed
• Battery
• IP Address

B. You can also see the Position History of the device (see below).

C. You can also send a Push Message to your device (see below).

D. Location history information.

1. When sending a Push Message, enter the following details:

• Message – The message that will be sent to the device.
• Sound – to be played when message arrives to device.
• Web Site – Optional if you wish to send a link to the device.

2. Click on the Send Push button to send the message.

Note: I used an iPad running iOS 3.2 for this tutorial.

1. Tap on the (+) Add Bookmark button.

2. Tap on the Mail Link to this Page button.

A new message will appear including the link in the body of the message and name of the website as the subject. Enter an email address and send when you are ready.

The number of CD’s or DVD’s required for a backup of your iTunes library is dependent of your library and the options you select below. To use the backup once it has been made, simply open iTunes and insert the first disc in the series.

1. Click on File and then A. Library.

2. Click on Back Up to Disc from the Library menu.

3. Choose the type of backup you wish to perform, the options are as follows:

• Back up entire iTunes library and playlists.
• Back up only iTunes Store purchases.

A. You can also specify that only new or changes items be backed up. When you select this option you don’t have to backup the entire library each time.

As of this writing it looks like only these two browsers are supported. I have Opera, Firefox, and Chrome installed and none of these browsers appeared on the list. If you are looking for a way to synchronize bookmarks from Firefox to your iPad, check out the Firefox Home app.

Note: I used an iPad running iOS3.2 and iTunes 9.2 for this guide.

1. Click on the iPad under Devices.

2. Click on the Info tab on the right pane and B. scroll down until you find the Other section.

3. Check Sync bookmarks with.

4. Click on the double arrow to open the menu and choose a browser from the list.

B. Internet Explorer and Safari are the only options available as of this writing.

5. Once you selected the browser to sync bookmarks with, click on the Apply button to save the changes to the iPad and so that the sync process begins.

1. Head on over to a website that you wish to bookmark and tap on the (+) Add Bookmark button.

2. Tap on the Add to Home Screen button.

4. Name the bookmark.

5. Tap on the Add button.

A. The bookmark to the site will be added as an icon to the iPad’s Home Screen.

1. Right-click on the memory stick or memory card you wish to optimize.

2. Click on Properties from the list.

3. Make sure the Hardware tab is active and click on the memory drive from the list.

4. Click on the Properties button.

5. When the Properties window for the selected drive opens, click on the Change settings button.

6. Make sure the Policies tab is active and select Quick removal.

Difference between Quick removal and Better performance

Quick removal disables write caching to the device which allows for the removal of the device without the wait. The Better performance setting, improves performance by using the drive to write caches to speed up Windows and other applications. This setting requires that you go through the process of Safely removing the device.

7. Click OK to save the changes.

1. Right-click on the Windows Explorer shortcut pinned to the Taskbar.

2. Right click on Windows Explorer from the list.

3. Click on Properties.

Make sure the Shortcut tab is active. Notice that the Target for the Windows Explorer shortcut is %windir%\explorer.exe this shortcut will automatically open the Libraries directory whenever Windows Explorer opens. We’re going to change that below.

4. To point Windows Explorer to another directory add the directory after %windir%\explorer.exe so if you want Windows Explorer to automatically open your Documents directory you would enter the following:

%windir%\explorer.exe C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents

You can use just about any directory as longs as it is valid.

5. Click OK to save the changes.

Note: I used Windows 7 for this guide.

To toggle between modes, simply hold down the [Windows] key while pressing the [P] key on your keyboard.

Once installed you will notice that the OpinionCloud icon will be visible when the extension can be used on the site you are on.

How to Use OpinionCloud with YouTube

1. When you open a YouTube video you will notice that next to the Like buttons there will be a small box with the comments summary in percentage of Likes and Dislikes. When you 2. click on this button the OpinionCloud comment summary will appear.

You will  be able to get an overall feel of the sentiment expressed in the comments section for the chosen video. If you wish to see which comments pertain to specific keywords on either list, simply click on the word and you will see the associated comment(s).

This add-on implements opinion summarization of Web comments on YouTube and Flickr. Popular videos/photos often get up to thousands of comments and in order to get an idea about the crowd’s overall opinion one has to read all of them, which is of course impractical. The OpinionCloud helps to retrieve this important piece of information by generating an opinion word cloud for a given set of comments.
