Why Getting Involved?

Welcome to the Getting Involved channel!
I'm Chris, you may have seen me posting on some other parts of the site. I'm president of NapierTV, and I thought I'd give a quick explanation of what this channel is going to be used for, and what sort of stuff you can expect to find on here.

In the past, we've looked at some of the other societies around Napier, and had a look at what goes on there, and how you can join up with them - sort of like a little promo piece. What we're doing is expanding that idea to, well, pretty much anything!

The plan is to post some ways you can help out within our own society through profiles/descriptions of what it's like to be a cameraman, sound guy, etc. And also we're going to be producing an inside look into societies, sports clubs, or other organisations. Whilst it's not quite anything goes - elevator scuba diving is a fascinating hobby but not quite covered - then we will be trying to be getting active in as many relevant fields as possible - Napier elevator scuba diving would be something we'd look into!

Basically, this channel should be a great resource for anyone looking to help out with NapierTV, or who wants to find out about getting involved with other things.
