The Holiday Catalog INSERT… Do all of your customers know that Scentsy offers Holiday products? Be sure to include one in every party order, and don’tunderestimate the impact of emailing or hand delivering the flyer to your best customers and hostesses. Be sure
to Insert one into all of your catalogs for the rest of October and all of November. Include the last date you’ll be taking orders for products for Christmas deliveries!

Use the Insert to offer a special of your own to entice a Hostess: for example, offer a FREE or additional half-price holiday plug-in or warmer, or a FREE holiday scent to anyone booking from now until the end of the month. Let your deadline and special help you fill your calendar!

Use a Point-of-Purchase (POP) Holiday Display Stand with your favorite vendor to be sure everyone knows what a great gift Scentsy is! If you already have a regular POP out in area businesses, consider exchanging them for a few weeks. Regulars will notice the change, and savvy
shoppers will realize what a great gift Scentsy is.

Be sure to have one out at your next party with a fan of Holiday Inserts for the taking.

Include a POP with your basket parties ! An inexpensive way to get more attention when you send off your testers. Show your Basket Party Hostess how quickly a POP can be set up, and encourage her to leave one up on the table in the breakroom or at her desk while she hosts.

Hosting your own Holiday event is a great way to generate publicity for Christmas gift-giving. Use Holiday invitations instead of regular ones, and get customers thinking before they even attend! If you have inventory on hand, host your OWN Open House. Offer drawings, prizes and incentives for neighbors, family and friends to attend. Include an invitation to your Open House with orders going out the door now… again, don’t forget to include your last date for Holiday orders.

Holiday Invitations are a great idea for all of your parties throughout late October and early November. Get everyone thinking about what is right around the corner.

And lastly, don’t underestimate what you can do with a Gift Tag! Punch-out Holiday Gift Tags can go a long way to making a great impression on your customers…

• Use one to wrap their orders. Thank them for their purchase. Remind them if they need anything else, you’re just a phone call or a click away, and what your holiday deadline will be.

• Give a customer four or five tags in a cellophane sack when you know they ordered for gift-giving. Tie THEM up with your business card & a Christmas card and wish them a Happy Holiday.

• Use them as a game! Take a small, inexpensive pine tree to a party or show and cover it with Gift Tags and Drawing Slips. Tell everyone attending to take one, tell who they are giving Scentsy to this holiday – BFF, mother-in-law, neighbor, co-worker, etc. and then place an entry for a prize! If it’s a small event, the prize could be as simple as a free bar. Offer a beautifully wrapped gift basket for a larger event.

In conjunction with the launch of the new Workstation on October 1, Scentsy will be switching from commission checks to pay cards. Scentsy pay cards are VISA-branded debit cards to which commission earnings will be automatically funded the 10th of each month. Cards will be funded for the first time on November 10, 2009 for October 2009 commissions. Commissions will be loaded to the card each month thereafter.

With the Scentsy pay card, you can make merchant purchases within the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam or access your funds at any ATM worldwide. Withdrawals can be done without a transaction
fee by using an ATM within the Allpoint network. In addition to using your pay card to withdraw cash from ATM machines, you will receive blank checks along with your card, so you can pay bills with the funds on your card. Or, you can choose to have the funds electronically transferred into your bank account.

You will receive an email with an update on pay cards the week of 10/5, with additional information following throughout the month of October. Consultant training will begin the week of 10/12. Pay cards will begin to arrive by U.S. mail the week of 10/26.
