I had someone ask about the card I posted yesterday, so I figured I may as well post the answer here in case anyone else was wondering the same thing...

Where did the heart layer behind the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit heart come from? It is the Heart from the Stampin' Up! Punch Windows Magnetic Movers & Shapers Big Shot die (115953). You need an extra cutting pad for this technique, but this is how you build your "sandwich" to cut the heart out by itself.

2 cutting pads

3 sheets of cardstock (as shims)

heart die

cardstock to be cut

another cutting pad

Another tip that I learned from Marty is that if your Heart of Hearts sticks in the embosslit at all, put a piece of waxed paper under the card stock when you run it through. The waxed paper is so thin that it doesn't interfere with the cutting, and your die cut doesn't get stuck!

Check back soon to see projects from my latest workshops and upcoming classes!

This is a chip board purse. Isn't the cutest! If I do say so myself. ;) This is one of the projects that we made at a meeting last month. I have been dying to share it with you, but didn't have a photo ready until now. It is made with the Sweat Pea Designer Series Paper Stack. I love these butterflies!! There is another design like this only in pinks included in the stack as well. Here are some other details on the stack....It coordinates with the following Stampin' Up! colors: Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red. The stack includes 48 sheets of 12" x 12" DSP with 2 each of 24 double-sided designs. You can really have a ton of fun with this! Call me (309-341-0716 or309-335-2615) to order your stack today, or order online at http://juliajackson.stampinup.net.

We decided to make Valentine bags to serve as the girls' Valentine "box" to take to school. This was soooo much easier and quicker than covering a shoe box or some other kind of box! And the girls had a blast decorating. We were done in about 20 minutes. Love that. Here are the Valentine's that will pass out to their classmates.

These are Stampin' Up!'s Love Bots Valentine boxes from the Occasions Mini Catalog. They were so easy too. Write your names, fold the box, stick in the candy and seal. Ta-da!
