General Studies Mock Exam

The following students must report to upstairs B block tomorrow afternoon to sit a mock general studies exam that was missed on de timetable day.

OFSTED Report 2009 Published

We had our Ofsted inspection on 5-6 October 2009. The report has now been published and you can access a copy on our website. Shortly after half-term a paper copy will be sent home to all parents. Enjoy some amazing food, cooked by talented food technology students to raise money for the redevelopment of the central quad.

Choose from:

Cream of Leek & potato Soup or Chicken liver pate with Melba toast;
Roasted vegetable tartlet served with new potatoes and a side salad or jacket potato skins with creamed potatoes with a breast of chicken and bacon on a creamy tarragon sauce;
Autumn fruit crumble with homemade ice cream or lemon mousse or citrus sorbet.

Drinks & a raffle will be also be available, but are not included in the price.

Tickets can be purchased from Mrs Welsh in the Swift house office.

Learning & Technoolgy Interviews - on the news on Heart FM

Today a group of media students & staff were interviewed by Heart FM for an ongoing news feature about young people & technology. They discussed the way in which schools & students use technology to support their learning, and what schools do to help teach students safe use of the Internet. You should be able to hear the students comments on Friday 9 October 2009 during the 7, 8 & 9am news slots on Heart Ipswich (97.1 & 96.4) & Heart Colchester (96.1). The media students also filmed the radio interview and it should be available on our Vimeo channel soon.
