This car is aimed to unseating the Bugatti Veyron SS as the fastest car in the world. Jerod Shelby, founder and CEO of SSC, unveiled the Tuatara in the presence of a few people from the industry. Jerod Shelby is not related to Carroll Shelby, the legend behind all those muscle cars. The name of this supercar is derived from the Maori language that describes a resident reptile from New Zealand, Tuatara, means “peaks at the back.”

Shelby and his team of 16 engineers have put their skills together to produce a high performance production vehicle in the SSC Tuatara by highlighting this rear wheel drive, 1,350 horsepower speedster. SSC produced the Ultimate Aero that was able to topple the record established by the Bugatti Veyron. In 2007, the Ultimate Aero TT had a run of 256 mph on a four mile stretch of a Texas carriageway. The Volkswagen owned Bugatti, not to be denied, came back with the Veyron SS (Super Sport) and clocked a record 267 mph.

With the Tuatara, Shelby SuperCars intends to reclaim that distinction of being the fastest car in the world, by aiming for a record setting 275 mph.

This rare edition is combined with all the up-to-date and finest upgrades which allows it to run like no other. It's all thanks to the whole Wheelsandmore team who's responsible for all the modifications which make the SLR even better than ever.

The sports car originally came with a 650 horsepower and a torque of 820 Nm which was did not make many clients happy. However, the McLaren 722 is now pumped up to a higher level with a newly customized V8 engine that produces 727 hp and a torque of 701 lb-ft. How's that possible?

Well, it all comes down to the newly designed exhaust system that has sports catalysts, as well as flaps that can be engaged by remote control; which are all easily adapted greatly by the V8 engine's pulley and recently mapped ecu software.

However, these modifications require a specialized suspension for the model. Due to that, the Wheelsandmore team decided to contact KW, their coil specialists in order to have a new suspension built which features a rebound adjustable contraption, and better compression which is highly compatible with the McLaren Mercedes-Benz SLR 722.

It was founded by Ettore Bugatti, who is as Italian refugee depicted as an odd genius in Molsheim, France. The original corporation is celebrated for manufacturing a number of the most elite automobiles in the world, as well as a numbers of the quickest.

Bugatti’s original brand name did not succeed with the coming of the Second World War, like a lot of high-end marques at the time. Another contributing factor is the death of Ettore Bugatti’s sone, Jean. The business struggled monetarily, and launched one final model in the 50s, prior to being bought eventually for its aircraft parts trade in the 60s. At present, the name is possessed by the Volkswagen Group, who has restored it as an engineer of limited manufacture elite sports cars.

The cars of Bugatti were as much considered as works of art as they were naturally mechanical productions.

The corporation is based in Ingolstadt, Germany. Since the year 1964, Audi has been an entirely owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG or also the Volkswagen Group. It is founded in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The company’s name originated from one of the corporation’s founders’ names, which is Lionel Martin, and also from Aston Hill speed hill climb that is in Buckinghamshire near Aston Clinton.

From the years 1994 to 2007, Aston Martin was considered part of Ford Motor Company. It became a part of the corporation’s Premier Automotive Group in the year 2000. On the 12th of March 2007, Aston Martin was bought by a multiparty venture corporation, which is co-owned by John Sinders and Investment Dar and Adeem Investment of Kuwait, for £479 million.

The Aston Martin Company was started by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin in the year 1913. The very first automobile to be labelled Aston Martin was made by Lionel Martin through setting a 4-cyl Coventry Simplex engine into the 1908 Isotta-Fraschini’s framework.

The pipe benders are ideal for pipe fitters and general engineering applications. The bending capacity of hydraulic pipe bender varies as per the strength, power and performance. They are designed with extra power for large jobs and are suited for various types of bending and forming operations.

Construction:

The hydraulic pipe bender setup consists of a hydraulic jack, die of required angle, supporting blocks, pins for supporting blocks, and plates of required shape and size which are drilled with holes of required diameters. A lever having a cut slot at one end is used to loosen or tighten the pin of the jack and also to move the piston up or down by pimping action. The whole assembly is mounted on a base plate, and the plate having drilled holes is attached to the base plate by welding.

Working of Hydraulic Jack:

This system uses a piston type hand pump to power a single hydraulic cylinder and the operation is as explained:

A manual force is applied at a point A of handle ABC, which is pivoted about point C. The piston of the hand is pinned to the input handle at point B. The hand pump essentially consists of a cylinder containing a piston, which is free to move up and down. The piston and rod are rigidly connected together. When the handle is pulled up, the piston raises and creates vacuum in the space below it. As a result the atmospheric pressure forces the oil to leave the tank and flow through the check valve 1 and this is the suction process, where a check valve is a component that allows the fluid flow in only one direction as indicated by the arrow.

When the handle is then pushed down, the oil is released from the hand pump and flows to check valve 2 which enters the bottom of the load cylinder. The load cylinder is similar in construction to the pump cylinder and contains a piston. From Pascal’s law we know that the pressure acting on the load piston equals the pressure generated by the pump below its piston. Thus each time the input handle is cycled up and down; a specified volume of oil is ejected from the pump to raise the load cylinder to a given distance against its load resistance. The below valve is hand operated valve which, when opened allows the load to be lowered by bleeding oil from the load cylinder back to the oil tank. It should be noted that oil enters and exits from each cylinder at only one end.

Working:

The whole assembly is first placed on a flat surface and the pin of the jack is tightened. The piston of the jack is retracted with the help of a lever; the die is mounted on the piston and the supporting blocks are placed in between the two plates using a pin, which is for the support.
The holes in the plate are provided so that the supporting blocks can be adjusted as per the requirement. If the diameter of the pipe which is to be bent is more than the supporting blocks, then the positioning of the block will depend on the diameter and the angle to which the pipe has to be bent. As the die and the piston reciprocates, the pipe which is placed on the support will be pushed towards the supporting block and the further pushing of the block will result in bending of pipe. After the desired angle of bending is attained, giving 3 revolutions to it loosens the pin of the hydraulic jack. A special care should be taken while tightening and loosening the pin. When the pin is half loose, the piston shouldn’t be pressed which will apply pressure on the seals and they may fail and leaking of oil might occur, which is undesirable

The move comes as Sony has been restructuring its TV business, which has been making a loss for the past seven years.
Samsung, meanwhile, has gone on to become the world's largest maker of TVs and flat screen panels.
"Under the agreement, Samsung will acquire all of Sony's shares of S-LCD Corporation, the two companies' LCD panel manufacturing joint venture, making S-LCD a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung," Samsung Electronics said in a statement.
Tough times The joint venture between two companies was established in 2004, when a boom in the global economy saw a surge in demand for consumer electronics.
The road bridge, which took four years and cost a cool 5.5 billion pounds to build, will be open for use in the New Year and is almost three miles longer than the previous record-holder, the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana.

According to the company, a regular fortnightly revision is likely to happen in petrol prices.

It has further said that rupee depreciation and crude prices would be reflected in petrol in the next fortnight.

This comes a day after petrol prices were slashed by Rs 1.85 per litre, which was the first cut in the last 33 months.

Reacting to the cut, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas RPN Singh had said, "Crude oil have come down by $4 and we have passed it on to consumers. Petrol prices are deregulated."
As you probably know the Nokia Lumia 800 will be offered in three color versions - black, cyan and pink. However, it turns out that only one of those will be available at the launch of the smartphone next week with the other two colors arriving in the following months.
According to the latest bit of online gossip, the first Nokia Lumia 800 adopters in the UK will have no choice, but to get the black version. The cyan units will be arriving shortly after that - in the first week of December, while the pink edition will hit the shelves after Christmas.
So if you were a lady looking to buy herself a cute pink smartphone for Christmas, you might have to look elsewhere. Or settle for another color - the non-painted unibody is making this one a great looker no matter the color, really.
