Quantum Physics is an attempt by our scientists to explain how the universe works. Nothing really makes sense on the atomic level. This is a problem. We are dealing with atomic energy. If it does not make sense, then we really do not understand what we are dealing with. Not really understanding is very dangerous.

We have people dealing with objects that are hotter than the Sun. It is “contained” with magnetic fields.

We have people dealing with objects so dense, they qualify as almost a black hole on a microscopic scale. It is contained with fields.

We have people trying to reproduce antimatter. This is done in a building 26 miles long. I don't even know what precautions these mad scientists are really taking. It might go wrong in a hurry.

I have my own basic understanding of quantum physics. I confess I do not really understand all the implications. According to our scientists there are dimensions we do not even perceive at that level. Math indicates that there are at least 11 separate dimensions on the atomic level.

And that is a problem. The math is wrong. We use an easy to understand decimal system based on 10. This system is wrong because it describes things on a small level with infinite numbers, PI is 22/7 not 3.14 + a lot of numbers. PI describes one of the basic dimensional concepts of the Universe. Space is not a circle of 3.14 +. That becomes too inexact when describing infinitely small objects.

I propose we need to go back to the Sumarian System of numbers to describe the universe. This system is based on 60 not 10. 2/3rds of 60 is 40. 5 12s are in 60. 10 6s are in 60. More important it does not have the annoying infinite decimals on a system based on 10. I am confused a little by this system.

My own experience indicates that the universe consists of an infinite number of dimensions. But it might be a system based on repeating dimensions up and down the vibration scale. In other words, everything in our perceivable Universe is based on a series of interacting dimensions. Everyone of which is vibrating at the same speed. Change that speed and time changes with it. Time either slows down or even reverses or it speeds up. Either way an entire different universe is perceived. I call this combination of dimensions a “plain”. Our visible Universe is such a plain and based on the vibrations we have all of the physical laws that make up our Universe.

There is an entrophy effect to this speed. Things are getting slower on a very relatively small scale. But that is a different aspect of the theory. The entire system is warping but at a level we cannot perceive.

In my perception, the Universe is like a piano keyboard. Everything is based on vibratory rates. In this system a scale is a universe as we perceive it. This would mean you would have 7 different notes in a scale. The 8th note is the start of a different universe combination. It is all part of a whole. But studying this system would mean you have 5 hidden notes. Each note is a separate dimension on the atomic scale. So in this system, the math indicates 13 different dimensions and one duplicate at a higher level. Each dimensional note is one-half note separate from the other. Perception-wise we can probably observe 8 of the 14 possible notes. One note is simply a higher form of the other on the scale.

I am not talking about music. I am talking about a possible math to explain what we see at the Quantum level. In the half note system, everything makes sense. In the duplicate note system one octive higher, each combination of dimensions would consist of a different view of the Universe. This would explain parallel universes. Each Universe would have a vibratory equivalent of 14 dimensions. Two of which would then be duplicates an octive apart. Only a fraction of these dimensions would be perceived at our size level. Meaning that combinations of dimensions make up our time and space.

This would also explain how starting the scale up or down would include more or less hidden dimensions of the minor dimensions. By this logic, it is possible to have 5 hidden dimensions consisting of different vibratory rates visible under different circumstances. Each slightly out of phase with the other. This is all a matter of perception.

Otherwise the entire thing would be really confusing. The basis of this system is two fold. On one level you are dealing with 7 dimensions that are different. On the other level we are dealing with 13 different dimensions that are different. And it all depends on how small you get.

Everything in all the Universes are part of a whole. They interact with one another. The one thing this theory does not explain is the duplicate action between atoms many miles apart. My own thinking is that on some level, the dimensions do not have the same aspect of distance in space and time. So a universe several octives above our own might be traveling much faster in time than our own. The distance between material objects might be different. So something in this Universe that is say 100 light years from here, could be simply a mile down the road in that universe. That means if we could co-exist into that Universe, we could travel enormous distances in little time and return to our Universe in a different time and place. One minute could be an hour in that Universe or vice versa. I don't really know how that would work. In the old Science Fiction it was called Hyperspace.

Changing the vibratory rate with magnetics could be very dangerous. You could have objects phasing in and out of our Universe uncontrolled. That might be a disaster waiting to happen. Basically the law of action/reaction might be universal. The law of kinetic energy might also be universal. Things in motion tend to stay in motion, things at rest tend to stay at rest.

My word of warning: It is dangerous to explore things we do not understand. Go slow, go cautious, and remember there are consequences we might not really understand.

Microchips: Coming to a Town Near You

***The following is a guest post for The Future by Barbara Fix*** It’s been tried before and failed, but the potential for microchipping has just been dusted off and given a “softer” side. With its announcement some are warning this new technology has the possibility of being a first step towards acceptance of a permanent chip insertion most of the nation already vetoed.

VeriChip has spent millions promoting their chip as a viable solution for child abductions, offering hope through its RFID location capabilities to find missing children. VeriChip has also tried to curry favor with the public for medical applications for storing detailed medical history, including medication dosages and alerts and contact information for medical emergencies. Likewise, chip insertion has received a nod by lawmakers and the prison system as a means to locate and quickly apprehend fugitives of the law. Other applications include easy access for employee clearance at secured facilities and it even flows to the retail industry for inventory control and ease of purchase at the checkout stand, where participants merely pass their implant over a reader for payment and are then on their way.

Already the VeriChip has become “indispensable” to pet owners to store medical history and shot records and locating lost pets—there are now over 6 million chipped pets.

Even so, VeriChip has hurdles to jump to overcome bad press. The biggest detractor is studies proving a 1% – 10% higher incidence of cancers in pets that have been chipped, which scientific studies confirmed was related to chip insertion. In the medical realm, concerns have been voiced over adverse effects to human recipients who undergo an MRI, where the strong electrical field is likely to cause burns to a patient both internally and externally.

A study undertaken by Jonathan Westhues and reported in Wired Magazine proved the chips 16-digit “unique” number could be pirated with the use of a hand-held device, pointing to a nightmarish potential for abuse of a recipients banking and personal information culled from the chips database.

Such revelations are worth investigation. Most of us have received that dreaded notice by our bank that our credit or debit card information “may” have been compromised and thus have been issued a replacement card with a prerequisite new PIN number we must then remember. That’s a far cry from getting the news that our implanted chip “may” have been compromised and we must now undergo exploratory surgery (the chip’s other negative is they can travel in the body) to have it dug out and replaced.

Technology’s Inroads

A handful of people have already volunteered for chip insertion who are happy to publicly announce their view on the chip as beneficial on many fronts. Two of the most noteworthy cases are British Scientist, Kevin Warwick, who in 1998 underwent chip insertion to open doors and switch on lights at his command. Later, Amal Graafstra, author of RFID TOYS had implants placed in each of his hands to open his car door, unlock doors and to securely access his computer.

Getting on the bandwagon was Mikey Sklar and Mark Krieger who are happy to report to the general public about their experiences. In 2007, two employees of City Watcher, a video surveillance company based in Ohio, accepted implants in order to have access to the company’s sensitive database. Already Wisconsin, Dakota and California have passed bills making it illegal for employers to impose mandatory chip insertions on their employee base.

However, Veri Chip is not without its supporters. In 2002 the Food and Drug Administration granted them a preliminary approval. Additionally, it is widely believed there are many more who have already opted in for this new technology, but due to the public outcry against “chipping” are not likely to step forward and be counted.

Most of Us Are Already Involved

One of the basic counterparts of the VeriChip technology, GPS, is already being used by most of us, whether we realize it or not. Cell phones have embedded RFID chips that are operational even when the phone is turned off, but can be deactivated when the battery is removed. How? The RFID includes GPS location technology within them, which can be deployed to triangulate a users exact location in the case of emergency. Many products are already tagged with RFID chips at retailers for inventory control as well as to thwart petty theft.

How’d They Do It?

Both here and abroad the chip has experienced negative feedback from the populace due to privacy and freedom issues as well Christian beliefs that this new technology is what Revelations warns of as the Mark of the Beast.

Instead of imposing a chip the size of a grain of rice, permanently marking humans like so many cattle as many have vocalized, the medical industry has devised a tattoo-based patch to be applied to the skin called an Epidermal Electronic System (EES). It is not permanent and is the thickness of a human hair. For now, it can be touted as “temporary” as it is applied with water and is user-friendly due to its flexibility. For the moment, they are being used to monitor heart and brain functions of patients.

Choices

So, what’s your vote? Soon we may face the choice to accept a tattoo, and eventually an implantable chip in exchange for ease of patient care. Will we embrace this technology, or will we just say no?

Is A Major Earthquake Along The New Madrid Fault In Our Future?

Large numbers of Christians have been receiving visions and dreams of a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault that is to come in the future. In many of these visions and drams the United States is actually torn in two and a new body of water is created in the middle of America. So could such a thing actually happen?

Well, lately a lot of people have been alarmed by the thousands of birds and fish that have been suddenly dying in the region. But an alarming number of bird and fish deaths are being reported literally all over the globe. So it is hard to pin this phenomenon on the New Madrid fault zone alone.

But could all of these bird and fish deaths be an indication that major earth changes are now underway?

If the earth is "waking up", could the New Madrid fault zone soon "wake up" as well?

The have certainly been some increased signs of seismic activity in the region lately....

*According to the U.S. Geological Survey, more than 500 measurable earthquakes have been recorded in central Arkansas just since September.

*A magnitude-3.8 earthquake that shook north-central Indiana on December 30th is being called "unprecedented". It was strong enough to actually cause cracks along the ground and it was felt in portions of Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky.

Some residents of the area are reporting that things are becoming increasingly "unstable" around where they live. Just check out the following testimony that was posted on another website....

I live on the New Madrid fault. And I can tell you this. The surface rupture of the roads and highways is out of control. Also, everyday of the week, the structure of my moms home is "cracking" and shifting. You can hear the walls and the surface crack.

Nearby is a dollar general store. In that parking lot there are 3 flagpoles that "vibrate" violently. (not shaking from wind) Each and everyday, the roads "blow" up potholes. U.S. 41 is ruptured severely.

Interstate 65 is also badly damaged. They keep trying to repave them but it doesn't work. The Cline Ave bridge at points is closing. This bridge and off ramps leads right into Inland steel and LTV steel and BP Amoco. So far, I believe 5-7 bridges have been shut down or are scheduled for closing because they are unsafe.

I monitor the earthquakes daily. And as you know there are far too many happening too quickly.

I believe the general public has been misled. In my opinion, the 2012 shift is happening now, but everyone has been conditioned to believe that they still have time to prepare for the main event. Thats b.s. It doesn't happen all at once.

In Momence Illinois, some of the buildings are beginning to "sink". In Cedar Lake Indiana, the same is happening.

The bottom line is this; Buildings are cracking, parking lots can't be fixed, roads and bridges are closing every week, sidewalks are sinking and sinkholes are opening everywhere. At time day or night, you can literally feel the earth "vibrate" below your feet.

I'm in Northwest Indiana, and I believe we are about to get hit with a earthquake of biblical proportions. We are surrounded by propane, natural gas and BP Amoco refineries.

And, I'm more than concerned what will happen when the new madrid erupts.

So why should we be so concerned about all this?

Well, because the New Madrid fault has produced the biggest earthquakes in U.S. history. I recently wrote about this on The American Dream blog....

About 200 years ago, in 1811 and 1812, there were four earthquakes that were so powerful in the area of the New Madrid fault zone that they are still talked about today. All four of the quakes were estimated to have been magnitude-7.0 or greater. It is said that those earthquakes opened deep fissures in the ground, caused the Mississippi River to run backwards and that they were felt as far away as Boston.

The last major earthquake to hit the region was a 5.4-magnitude quake that struck the town of Dale, Illinois in 1968. Things have been strangely quiet in the region since then until recently.

So as seismic activity increases all over the globe, could we see more activity along the New Madrid fault as well?

Are we headed for a dark future where "Watchers technology" is fully unleashed? Will it be a future where "man-made life" and bizarre human-animal hybrid creatures are free to roam and breed and spread across the face of the earth? Such notions would have once been too bizarre for most science fiction novels, but genetic engineering technology has advanced to such a degree today that it is really hard to say what "life" will look like on earth in the coming decades. At this point there are very few restrictions remaining on fields such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, synthetic biology, cloning and genetic modification. All over the world, scientists are feverishly combining different kinds of animals together, adding plant genes to certain animals, and even putting human DNA into plants and animals. Life as we know it is literally changing, and it is very hard to tell what the future is going to look like if all of this continues.

The Obama administration is even endorsing this kind of activity. Anything for "scientific research" that might "cure diseases", right? Just last week the White House declared that the field of synthetic biology poses only "limited risks" and should not be restricted.

So exactly what is "synthetic biology"?

Well, essentially it is the manipulation of the DNA of existing life forms to create entirely "new" organisms.

But if these "new organisms" are not any known life form, then exactly what are they? And what kind of "spirits" are entering these life forms once they are created?

Those are some questions that very few people are asking.

The truth is that most people would be deeply shocked to find out what is going on in labs all over the globe.

Even the tamest stuff is pretty shocking? Did you know that scientists can literally "grow" new human organs now?

While that may sound quite noble, how would you feel if you learned that human cloning was going on?

Well, the truth is that it is happening, and all over the globe scientists are pushing for human cloning to be fully legalized in areas where it is banned.

For example, in October UNESCO’s International Bioethics Committee published a report which suggested that it is time for all countries to take a fresh look at human cloning. Apparently there is an emerging consensus in the scientific community that the research benefits of human cloning far outweigh any "moral considerations" and that it should be made legal all over the globe.

But perhaps even more frightening than human cloning are the bizarre new life forms that many scientists are now creating. Scientists are actually combining human DNA with the DNA of animals to produced new life forms.

Yes, this is actually happening. Did you know that scientists are actually breeding genetically modified pigs that have human DNA in them with a goal of providing organs for transplant into humans? Did you also know that these pigs are being "grown" in the state of Missouri?

The truth is that we live in a world where all of the rules are changing. Genetic engineering has become so advanced and so common that now even college students are transplanting genes and creating new lifeforms all over the world.

Right now we probably cannot even imagine what kind of bizarre life forms some college students are creating in their basements or what some crazed scientists in some dark corner of the world are coming up with.

As they say, the genie is out of the bottle, and in many areas of the globe the only limit on these scientists is their own imagination.

Unfortunately, everything we hear in the media about the creation of new "life forms" and human-animal hybrids is mostly overwhelmingly positive.

Author Tom Horn noted this overwhelming bias in a recent article he wrote to promote his new book on this topic....

Not long ago, a writer for Wired magazine named Elizabeth Svoboda contacted me (Tom) to let me know she was writing an article about “research advances using transgenic animals to produce pharmaceutical compounds.” She had come across an editorial by me raising caution about this kind of experimentation and wondered if I might be willing to provide points for her article, elaborating in areas where I saw producing transgenic human-animals as potentially harmful. She stated that most of the scientists she planned to quote were “pretty gung-ho about the practice,” and said she thought it would be important to provide some balance. I thanked her for the invitation and sent a short summary of some, though not all, of the areas where concerns about this science could be raised.

When the article was finally published by Wired, I was surprised that none of my notes had made it into the story. I contacted Elizabeth and asked why, and she replied that they had originally been included in her article, “Pharm Animals Crank Out Drugs,” but in order to create a positive spin on the story, the editors had censored my cautionary notes during the editing process. Elizabeth apologized and said she hoped the experience had not soured me on dealing with the magazine.

We highly recommend that you grab a copy of Horn's new book. It is entitled Forbidden Gates: How Genetics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Synthetic Biology, Nanotechnology, and Human Enhancement Herald The Dawn Of TechnoDimensional Spiritual Warfare and it is probably the most exhaustive work on the dangers of synthetic biology and genetic engineering that has ever been produced.

As Horn points out, all of this messing around with life could open some very dangerous doors.

This is the exact kind of thing that was going on prior to the Flood of Noah. Will many of these new "life forms" that we are creating today be inhabited by evil spirits?

That is something to think about. As I noted in an article on another website entitled "Canada On The Verge Of Approving Enviropigs - Millions Of Canadians Will Soon Be Eating Mouse/Pig Hybrids", we are repeating the mistakes of the past....

Did you know that the 3000 year old book of Jasher (a book of ancient history that is quoted in the Biblical books of Joshua and II Samuel) speaks of genetic engineering that was going on in the days of Noah?

It is true. How they did it remains a great unexplained mystery, but according to ancient sources this is apparently what was going on.

Jasher 4:18 tells us this....

"and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord"

According to the book of Jasher, God was not pleased at all that they were corrupting the wonderful environment that He had created for all of us.

Sadly, the world is once again messing with plants and animals. We are once again entering realms that God has warned us not to enter.

So what will the end result of all this be? It is hard to say, but obviously it is not going to turn out well.

As we write about on The End Of The World, Last Days and Mysteries Of The World, we have entered those times known in the Scriptures as the "last days". We are rapidly moving towards the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and things are only going to become more chaotic from here on out.

So buckle up and get prepared, because it is going to be a bumpy ride.

5000 More Russian Nuclear Bomb Shelters Are Being Built In Moscow

Is Russia preparing for a nuclear war that they believe is coming in the future? Or does Russia think that some other cataclysm is going to strike the earth in a few years? Whatever it is, they sure are preparing for something. RT is reporting that 5,000 more nuclear bomb shelters will be built in the city of Moscow alone by the end of 2012. Other Russian cities are making similar preparations. Russian authorities claim that these new bomb shelters are urgently needed because the current ones can only hold approximately half the population and are quite outdated. Also, officials say that there are very few shelters for those living outside the city center of Moscow, and they want to rectify that. Apparently the goal is for nearly the entire population of Moscow to be able to reach a bomb shelter within a matter of minutes. But why is all of this necessary all of a sudden? What kind of a future are they preparing for?

Meanwhile, the U.S. government does nothing similar for American citizens. In America, there is an overwhelming belief that the fear of nuclear war is a thing of the past and that we will never experience anything so bad that we will all need bomb shelters.

So is Russia right or are we right?

Only time will tell.

Cold, Hard Facts About The Federal Reserve

The Federal Reserve uses euphemistic smoke and mirrors to obscure their operations. With full knowledge the following is not the way the Fed/government describes the system, allow me to offer a different analysis of their mathematical operation.

Congress can pay for federal expenses with funds collected from taxes, but Congress is never satisfied with this amount. The desire to buy votes/campaign contributions from special interest groups induces congress-critters to spend more, and this is identified as deficit spending. To create this make-believe money requires the assistance of the Federal Reserve. Approximately 45% of the 2009 budget was paid by new fiat money.

Congress will give the Fed a security (bill, bond, or note) and the Fed will accept the document as an asset of one of the twelve FR Banks. The Fed will then establish a line of credit for the U.S. government for the same amount and list the liability as Federal Reserve Notes. Voila !! Fiat money has just been created for Congress to spend. Ref: 2009 Annual Report to Congress by the Board of Governors, page 448. http://www.federalreserve.gov/boarddocs/rptcongress/annual09/pdf/ar09.pdf The accumulated securities that are not redeemed add up to the national debt.

The fiat money is identified as a legal tender. A “legal tender” is something that is required by law to be accepted as payment for a debt---it is compelled satisfaction for, but not payment of, the debt.

The public debt is now over $13 trillion, or over $40,000 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. The value is $200,000 per person if the unfounded debt is included. Through no action of his own, or even an opportunity to reject the imposition, every resident of the United States has become obligated for a debt---for life---that cannot be relieved. It is manifestly clear that an obligation of $40,000 can only be visualized as an unrestricted claim on the future earnings of the citizenry. The citizen has been reduced to an indentured servant, or slave, compelled to work for the company store and still face an ever increasing amount of debt. There is no possible relief. If the earnings of a citizen are properly subject to confiscation by taxation, the government can take the entirety and return what pittance Congress in their largess may bestow. A nation of sovereign people is being reduced to haves and have-nots; the middle class is being eliminated by taxation.

If the Fed retained all of the securities, the public would quickly complain that interest payments (approximately $400 billion annually) are of no benefit and the inflationary pressure would also be obvious. The Fed therefore wants to sell a major portion of the securities so it has arranged with the Treasury department to act as auctioneer for selling to the Primary Dealers. The PD submit sealed bids. Since the security has a fixed face value and interest rate, the higher the bid, the lower the interest rate for the buyer.

The Primary Dealers are branches of the huge international banks/finance centers. Seven Wall Street agencies include Bank of America, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman, Jefferies, and Fitzgerald. Foreign agencies of Barclays, HSBC, Credit Suisse, UBS, Deutsche, BNP Paribas, RBS, Daiwa, Mizuho, Nomura, and RBC of Canada are also included. Whether these are the entities that Bloomberg is attempting to identify by FOIA as recipients of bail-out funds that is now in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals remains to be seen.

The Fed recently obtained $700 billion bailout funds. It begged Congress, on actual bended knee, for money and Congress gave them $700 billion in securities and the Fed swapped the securities to GSE/international bankers for toxic MBS‘s. The Annual Report lists Assets of $776 billion securities and $908 billion Government Sponsored Enterprise Mortgage Backed securities out of $2.2 trillion total assets. Whether the bailout money was a quid pro quo with the PD to avoid lawsuits for fraud is beyond the scope of this writing. The Mafia does not lightly tolerate transgression. The continued mutual benefit of programs, paid for by taxpayers, should evidence Wall Street and the Fed/international bankers constitutes a Siamese twin.

The touted concept that the Treasury’s auction is used to obtain money for Congress to spend is a cleverly designed disinformation. How can the government sell trillions of dollars of securities if the money is not already in circulation? Such a methodology cannot conceivably create fiat money in the hands of citizens to buy the securities to fund Congress. The initial beneficiary of the securities must be Congress---not the people---for the scheme to be realistic.

The math is going to get more detailed. If the Fed sold all of the securities at face value, there would be no money left in circulation. The money that was created by the securities would all be taken out of circulation and returned to the vaults of the Fed. The operation is identical to the FOMC selling or buying of securities to alter the amount of money in circulation.

The value of any securities not sold by the Fed is still in circulation and becomes the Reserves for commercial banks. The Reserves (known as base money) are then multiplied via loans from commercial banks utilizing the fractional reserve practice. The Fed currently holds about $750 billion of $12.5 trillion issued securities. Ref. http://www.fms.treas.gov/bulletin/b2009_3.pdf. Chart OFS-1.

Observe that the amount of money created by the security is the amount of the principal but the amount promised to be repaid is the principal AND the interest. The interest is never created but payment is required by the agreement. It is impossible. The linear expansion of base money via fractional reserves to create commercial loans does not change this. If, hypothetically, all money in circulation was used to pay off the securities issued by Congress, all bank reserves would be wiped out and the commercial loans would collapse---and every dollar of interest accumulated from day one would still be outstanding---but there would be no money outside of the Fed’s vaults to pay it.

The debt created by usury based sovereign debt is perpetual; it can never be paid off. The contract cannot be culminated. Any contract that cannot be culminated is an act of fraud. A contract based upon fraud is invalid from its inception. It would appear the national debt is not legally enforceable. (A debt incurred by a state or municipality is not a sovereign debt as used in this analysis. Such a debt is akin to a commercial loan and is completely repayable.)

There is more skullduggery involved. Let us assume a newly established sovereign nation is setting up a usury based economy with the issuance of 100 unit securities, a five year maturity, and an annual interest rate of 20 percent over a span of five years. The identifications of Congress and the Fed will be used to convey the images.

Upon the issuance of the first security, Congress has 100 units to spend. At the end of the year, Congress/Treasury has to pay 20 units to the Fed for interest. If the nation had to pay off the security at the end of the first year, the bankruptcy is obvious. There have never been 120 units created. Twenty units could be removed from society but that would leave only 80 units in circulation, cause great financial hardships, and still leave an impossible obligation to redeem a 100 unit security. The solution is to put off the interest payment until the next issue of security for the second year. The interest is paid from the principal created by the second issue.

During the second year there are 200 units in circulation but the actual rate of interest on the second issue is not 20 percent. Since 20 units had to be paid to the security holders, congress only received 180 units to spend (100 + 80) but they are committed to pay 40 units of interest on the security at the end of the second year. The interest rate of 40 divided by 180 is 22.2 percent. Considering the second year alone, the interest is 20 divided by 80 or 25 percent.

When the security for the third year is issued, the interest of 40 units for the first two years securities will not be available for congress. Congress will receive only 60 units for public projects but will have to pay 20 units interest at the end of the year. The 240 units received by congress (100 + 80 + 60) will require 60 units of interest at the end of the third year. The cumulative interest rate (60 divided by 240) is 25 percent. The interest rate for the third year alone (20 divided by 60) is 33.3 percent.

At the start of the fourth year, the security will have to cover the interest charge for the three prior years of 60 units. Congress will receive 40 units for government spending. The 280 units received by congress (100 + 80 + 60 + 40) will demand 80 units of interest at the end of the fourth year. The cumulative interest rate (80 divided by 280) is 28.5 percent. The interest rate for the fourth year alone (20 divided by 40) is 50 percent.

The security issued for the fifth year will pay the 80-unit interest for the prior four years. Congress will have 20 units to splurge. The 300 units received by congress (100 + 80 + 60 + 40 + 20) will require 100 units of interest at the end of the fifth year. The cumulative interest rate (100 divided by 300) is 33.3 percent. The interest rate for the fifth year alone (20 units received--20 units in interest) is 100 percent.

At the beginning of the fifth year, 500 units of indebtedness have been issued on the full faith and credit of the nation for securities that must be eventually redeemed. 300 units have been available to congress for spending. 200 units have been given to the Fed as interest and another 100 units in interest will be due the security holders at the end of the fifth year.

In addition, 100 units must be found to redeem the maturing security issued the first year. This factor alone makes it obvious that more debt must be incurred to continue the scheme.

Beginning the first day into the sixth year (with no new securities being issued), after paying the 100 units of interest for the fifth year and redeeming the 100 unit security issued the first year, the 300 units that had been available to Congress (over the years) has been reduced to 100 units net gain. In the meantime, the Fed or security holders have collected 300 units in interest, gained 100 units in the redeemed security for the first year, and still have a claim on the citizenry for 400 units of outstanding securities that will accumulate an additional 200 units of interest before redemption---a grand total of 1000 units. And there was no initial investment (consideration) put at risk by the Fed.

The inescapable whirlpool of usury debt can only avoid obvious default by increasing the value of future securities. Increasing the value of issued securities merely postpones the inevitable result.

A high rate of interest has been selected for the example to minimize repetitive calculations. A ten percent interest rate will consume 100 percent of the security value in ten years; a five percent interest rate will take twenty years. Lower rates of interest merely require more years to reach the same inherent bankruptcy. (Actually, bankruptcy occurs the first year, but then again, since the debt can never be paid off, the entire scheme is based upon fraud. A contract based upon fraud is void from its inception.)

An economic scheme that utilizes later investors to pay the interest due earlier investors is identified as a Ponzi scheme. This is precisely the scheme that has been presented above. The scheme will survive only as long as more principal is generated to pay the interest. This action only postpones the ultimate time of a much larger reckoning. If purchasers of the new debt cannot be found, the interest must be paid from previously generated principal and the scheme quickly collapses like any Ponzi scheme. Astute investors will demand a higher rate of interest than inflation (resulting from the creation of new principal) or they will suffer a loss of actual wealth. The increase in interest will always be greater than the increase in principal because of compounding effects; i.e., the more the principal increases, the more the interest increases.

It is reported that interest consumes 78 percent of the Philippians tax revenue. Whether this debt is the result of money creation, or spendthrift legislative action for lavish government salaries and perks, or for select government beneficiaries, or expensive boondoggles sold by the IMF/CIA, is beyond the scope of this paper.

[Current economic conditions find entities with surplus funds buying short-term securities at near zero interest rates to minimize the potential loss of value during a chaotic stock market. The drop in short-term interest rates corresponds with the movement of funds out of the equity markets. Low interest Federal Fund rate for banks was provided to boost the economy as the housing bubble imploded (from easily available over-sized loans) and threatened the collapse of the banking industry.

However, recent auctions have found Primary Dealers bidding such low prices on long term securities (which would have raised the interest rates) that the Fed ate more than 50 percent of the auction (by slipping in shill bids) to keep the interest rate artificially low. The Fed usually purchases 5 to 10 percent of an issue. The PD would have taken a haircut from anticipated inflation if they had accepted a low interest rate on long-term securities with a high bid. On the other hand, the bond market could crash if the Fed had allowed interest rates to escalate. People remember what high interest rates did in the 80’s. The Fed is trying to manipulate / control the market and the gyrations are increasingly wilder. Bill Fleckenstein in GREENSPAN’S BUBBLES writes of how the Fed suppressed federal funds interest rates to create a false prosperity that devastated the construction industry.

A newspaper article a couple of years ago informed us the annual increase in interest to be 15 percent while the budget only grew 7 percent. More recently the deficit has been increasing much faster to fund/conceal the rapid growth in interest requirement. Professor Bob Blain, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville has graphed the exponential growth in debt from 1915 to be irregular only during the 1930’s. It was that period when the Fed repeatedly made reserve calls on the banks to force gold certificates and gold coins out of circulation---which repeatedly deepened the recession. This was followed by the U.S. being manipulated into WW II by Wall Street and flooding the economy with fiat Federal Reserve Notes. The future will see ever-increasing demands for debt---and interest---and war is the cause celebre. Ref. JFK, AND THE UNSPEAKABLE by James Douglas.

In 1790 during Congress’ consideration of Alexander Hamilton’s proposal to pay the national debt with a usury based obligation placed upon the citizens, congressman James Jackson, after lengthy reflection on the devastation similar plans had imposed on European countries and cities, included the following observations to Congress:

“Let us take warning by the errors of Europe, and guard against the introduction of a system followed by calamities so universal…The funding of the debt will occasion enormous taxes for the payment of the interest…(such a system) must hereafter settle upon our posterity a burthen (sic) which they can neither bear nor relieve themselves from.” Ref. ANNALS OF CONGRESS, Vol. 1, 1790, pp. 1141-2.

In actual practice within the United States, a collection of taxes for part of the government spending is well known. Payment of part of the government expenses by taxation does not alter the government’s usury program; for analytical analysis, they can stand alone. The current pattern of increasingly larger deficit spending is the escalation as the climax of chaos beyond description approaches.

Transhumanism: Is A Future Where Men Have Merged With Machines Inevitable?

Most Americans don't realize it, but right now scientists all over the world are working feverishly toward bringing about a world where men have merged with machines. Some very prominent futurists are touting this future as a world where humans will be far stronger, far more intelligent, will have abilities that are far enhanced beyond what is possible now and where some of us will literally be able to live forever. The name of this rapidly growing movement is transhumanism, and it has gained a tremendous amount of support in the scientific community.

At first glance, the goals of the transhumanist movement seem so noble. After all, who wouldn't want a future where aging, suffering, disease and even death have been eliminated?

That is what proponents of transhumanism actually believe that they can bring about - a perfect world that has been greatly enhanced by technology.

Wikipedia defines transhumanism this way....

Transhumanism is an international intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of science and technology to improve human mental and physical characteristics and capacities. The movement regards aspects of the human condition, such as disability, suffering, disease, aging, and involuntary death as unnecessary and undesirable.

But is there a dark side to transhumanism?

Yes, there certainly is.

The following is a short clip from a documentary entitled Technocalypse. In this video, a human cloning researcher named Robert Seed declares that the transhumanist agenda will enable himself and others like him to become living gods. This is a scientist who is absolutely obsessed with his goal and he is clearly willing to do just about anything to achieve it....

This is the same lie that has been told since the Garden of Eden. The forces of darkness always want to convince us that we can be like God and that we can live forever.

But there are a growing number of scientists all over the world that are absolutely convinced that dramatic advances in nanotechnology and biotechnology will enable humanity to far surpass any limitations that we are experiencing now.

To many of these scientists, transhumanism has become the overriding philosophy of their lives. It is almost a religion to many of them.

They see nothing wrong with what they are trying to achieve. After all, they argue, if we can dramatically improve humans by combining them with animals or with machines why shouldn't we?

In fact it is believed by many transhumanists that we are on the verge of seeing entire new "species" created. The transhumanist version of the future includes many different "lines" of humanity. In fact, many transhumanists are very open about the fact that humanity as we know it will eventually go out of existence as far more superior forms take over.

Perhaps you have not heard of transhumanism before, but the truth is that the transhumanist movement is becoming so prominent that even the New York Times is doing stories on it.

In an article entitled "Merely Human? That’s So Yesterday", New York Times columnist Ashlee Vance described the moment that transhumanists are most looking forward to. It is known as "the Singularity", and in her article Vance described the Singularity as "a time, possibly just a couple decades from now, when a superior intelligence will dominate and life will take on an altered form that we can’t predict or comprehend in our current, limited state."

Many transhumanists believe that once the Singularity occurs those who embrace transhumanism will have dramatically enhanced intelligence and will be able to live for hundreds of years, and those that do not embrace transhumanism will slowly die off as they cling to their antiquated philosophies.

So will transhumanists actually be able to achieve their idea of utopia by merging with technology?

Let's hope not. Or at least let's hope that they are not able to achieve their goals any time soon.

What the Stock Investing Experts Don’t Want You to Know

I want to tell you some disturbing facts about the stock market that the people usually identified as “experts” on stock investing are never going to tell you.

There are four times since 1900 when stock prices rose to two times fair value.

There are also four times since 1900 in which the United States has experienced an economic crisis. Those four times all followed shortly the times at which stock prices rose to two times fair value. We have never experienced an economic crisis that was not preceded by a time at which stock prices rose to two times fair value. The correlation is perfect.

It makes sense, doesn’t it?

Something that is overvalued is selling at an artificial price, a price that cannot be sustained. When stocks are overvalued, they always within ten years or so fall back to fair value. There is not one exception in the historical record.

So we knew when stocks reached the highest levels of overvaluation on record in the late 1990s that we were going to be seeing over the next 10 years a huge loss of consumer wealth. You don’t want to know what the number is. But I am going to tell you anyway.

$12 trillion.

That’s how much stocks were overvalued in January 2000. We know that the amount of wealth represented by stock overvaluation always goes “Poof!” over the course of the following 10 or 15 years. This economic crisis was predictable. And avoidable. We caused this economic crisis by bidding stocks up so high. The investing experts who told us that we should continue buying stocks no matter how high prices went of course bear the greatest responsibility.

Think what this means on an individual basis. Stocks were actually priced at three times fair value in 2000 (we had never gone that high before). So those who follow stock investing knew that each investor portfolio was likely to lose roughly two-thirds of its value over the course of the next 10 or 15 years. Those with $100,000 in stocks were going to end up with $35,000. Those with $300,000 in stocks were going to end up with $100,000. And so on.

Why didn’t they warn us? Why didn’t they let us know that there comes a time when stocks are so overpriced that they are no longer worth buying?

It’s not a good marketing message.

They admit this themselves. I created the first retirement calculator that includes an adjustment for the valuation level that applies on the day the retirement begins (it is thus the first retirement calculator that gives accurate numbers -- to fail to factor in valuations is to get the numbers wrong). I asked Dallas Morning News Columnist Scott Burns to write a column about the calculator and he did so. He explained in that column why most “experts” in this field don’t bother to tell us about the effect of valuations on long-term returns -- “It’s information that most people don’t want to hear.”

Do you understand what he is saying? The experts are experts in selling first, second, third and fourth. They don’t tell us what we need to know about stocks but only what we want to know about stocks. We all wanted to think that those insane prices could continue indefinitely. That was of course a hopeless dream. But the experts did not want to be the ones to let us know. They wanted us to like them. They wanted to complete the sale.

Economies don’t crash for no reason. But economies always crash once stock prices rise to insanely dangerous levels. As stock prices work their way back to fair value, we all lose large percentages of the money we were planning to use to finance our retirements, Naturally, we panic. Panicked consumers don’t buy goods and services. When buyers disappear, businesses fail. When businesses fail, people lose their jobs. It all makes sense.

The $12 trillion number is not even the worst of it. That number is the amount our economy was fated to lose as prices worked their way back to fair value. But on the three earlier occasions when we went to two times fair value, prices didn’t return to fair value and then stop. They kept falling until they had gone down to one-half fair value. That’s a price drop of about two-thirds from where we stand today.

Why do prices always drop to one-half fair value after having gone to insanely high levels? It’s that panic factor I mentioned above. Insane enthusiasm always leads to insane hatred of stocks after it destroys millions of lives.

We need a new type of investment expert. We need investment experts who urge us not to permit stocks to become so overvalued rather than cheering the overvaluation on. If people knew how poor the value proposition for stocks is when prices are high, they would sell in response to overvaluation. That would make market prices self-correcting. But Buy-and-Hold is what sells. Buy-and-Hold is the marketing slogan that brought the world’s strongest economy to its knees.

We cannot get the $12 trillion back. It never existed in the first place. it was cotton-candy puffery, the product of overly aggressive sales talk. What we can do is to insist that the experts start delivering some straight talk on stock investing so that this sort of thing can never, never, never happen again. If we don’t we are going to lose our free market economy. The middle-class cannot take too many more big financial hits. And, if you go by how stocks have always performed in the past, we are still in the early stages of working through the damage done to our economic system by the reckless promotion of Buy-and-Hold strategies in the late 1990s.

10 Reasons Why The Future Of The Gulf Of Mexico Is Being Destroyed By The BP Oil Spill

As the Gulf of Mexico oil spill crisis enters a third month with no end in sight, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the future of the Gulf is rapidly being destroyed. Sadly that is not an overstatement. Indeed, it would be incredibly difficult to understate the environmental and economic devastation that is being caused by the BP oil spill. And unfortunately, the negative effects of this crisis are going to linger long after the oil has stopped flowing. It is going to take years (if not decades) for all the oil to be cleaned up, for businesses to recover, for wildlife populations to repopulate and for people to decide that it is viable to live along the Gulf coast once again. What we are witnessing is the slow-motion death of an entire region of the United States, and each day that the "oil volcano" on the bottom of the Gulf continues to gush the worse things get. For many of those living along the Gulf coast, this is literally the end of the world as they know it.

The following are 10 reasons why the future of the Gulf of Mexico is completely being destroyed by the BP oil spill.....

#1) Apparently BP discovered one of the biggest oil deposits in the world. CBS News is reporting that there could be as much as 1 billion barrels of oil under BP's damaged well and that it could keep flowing for more than a decade. Right now BP is admitting that oil is escaping the leak at such high pressure that they simply do not have the technology to control it. They are hopeful that drilling a relief well will solve the problem, but that is no guarantee either.

#2) Some scientists are now warning that the gigantic quantities of methane that have escaped into the Gulf of Mexico from the oil leak could potentially create "dead zones" where oxygen is so depleted that literally nothing lives. If this oil leak goes on long enough, could the entire Gulf of Mexico become one gigantic dead zone?

#3) Unprecedented numbers of sharks, dolphins, turtles and fish are showing up just off the Gulf coast in an attempt to escape certain death. Right now they are trapped between the approaching oil and the shore, but once the oil reaches shore there will be nowhere else for them to go. The tragedy and the loss of life will be unimaginable.

#4) Many birds are able to fly away from the oil in the Gulf, and already it is being reported that birds are flocking north by the thousands. These birds are escaping death, but migratory patterns and delicate ecosystems could be disrupted for years to come. Once these birds have abandoned the Gulf coast will they ever come back?

#5) If "70% or 80%" of the protective booms are doing absolutely nothing to stop the oil, then what is going to stop the millions of gallons of oil in the Gulf from eventually reaching shore? Once those pristine beaches are covered with millions of gallons of oil, will they ever be the same? The answers to those questions are fairly obvious. Tourism along the Gulf coast will never, ever be the same again during our lifetimes.

#6) Not only that, but the seafood industry in the Gulf of Mexico is literally being wiped out. Some local shrimpers in Louisiana are already predicting that it will be seven years before they can set to sea again, but honestly that may be overly optimistic.

#7) Some environmentalists are warning that North America could be facing years of toxic rain because of the incredibly poisonous chemical dispersants BP is using to control the oil spill. The truth is that the chemical dispersants that BP is using in the Gulf are far more toxic than the oil. In fact, because it is so extremely toxic, the UK's Marine Management Organization has completely banned Corexit 9500, so if there was a major oil spill in the North Sea, BP would not be able to use it. But BP sees no problem with dumping over a million gallons of very deadly dispersants into the Gulf of Mexico.

#8) At some testing stations in the Gulf of Mexico, levels of benzene have been detected at over 3000 parts per billion, and levels of hydrogen sulfide have been detected at levels as high as 1192 parts per billion. Considering the fact that both of these gases are incredibly toxic, and considering the fact that exposure to benzene is known to cause leukemia, could we be looking at a health crisis of unprecedented proportions?

#9) Experts have now discovered a massive gas bubble which is estimated to be 15 to 20 miles across and "tens of feet high" under the floor of the Gulf of Mexico. If that massive gas bubble was to suddenly burst, what in the world would that do? Perhaps that is a question that we do not want an answer to.

#10) Already, fissures and cracks are appearing on the ocean floor around the damaged wellhead. If oil starts leaking from numerous locations in the same area (as some claim is already happening) then how is BP going to be able to contain it?

Meanwhile, as oil continued to gush violently into the Gulf of Mexico, Barack Obama hit the golf course on Saturday with Joe Biden.

It is good to see that they are staying right on top of things.

The truth is that this is not just another crisis.

The future of the Gulf of Mexico is literally at stake.

Hopefully someone out there will figure out a way to stop this oil from flowing into the Gulf, because if not the consequences will be beyond what any of us can even imagine.

Once upon a time, America was "the land of the free and the home of brave". But today that has fundamentally changed. Now because of the threats posed by "terrorists" and "extremists", we increasingly find ourselves watched, tracked, traced and monitored by the most comprehensive Big Brother police state control grid the world has ever seen. Proponents of this system claim that it keeps us safer and that individuals should have nothing to fear if they have nothing to hide. Critics of this control grid fear that we are facing an almost complete loss of freedom and privacy when this system is fully implemented, and they wonder what kind of future we will have if a Hitler or a Stalin or a Chairman Mao got control over this kind of unprecedented power.

*The Florida State Department of Juvenile Justice will now start using analysis software to predict crime by young delinquents, putting potential offenders under specific prevention and education programs.

*A new bill being pushed by Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman would allow the U.S. military to round up large numbers of Americans and detain them indefinitely without a trial if they "pose a threat" or if they have "potential intelligence value" or for any other reason the President of the United States "considers appropriate".

*Barack Obama is backing a plan to create a national database that will store the DNA of individuals who have been arrested but not necessarily convicted of a crime.

*Just to get on an airplane, Americans will now have to go through new full-body scanners that reveal every detail of our exposed bodies to airport security officials.

*Not only that, but the Transportation Security Administration has announced that airport screeners will begin roving through U.S. airports randomly taking chemical swabs from passengers and their bags to check for explosives.

*Intel says that it wants microchips inside the heads of their customers by the year 2020.

*Organic milk is such a threat that the FDA has been conducting military style raids on Amish farmers in that state of Pennsylvania.

*Newsweek has released a major feature article that says that those who are involved with the Oath Keepers are dangerous "extremists".

*There are disturbing new reports that the U.S. Forest Service is actually spying on visitors to national parks.

*The data mining operations of the credit card companies are becoming so incredibly sophisticated that they can actually predict how likely you are to get a divorce.

Is God In The Earthquake?

In the midst of an outpouring of compassion created when a horrific earthquake in Haiti decimated its capital, killed some 200,000, and left the already impoverished nation in shambles, the spiritual meaning and Biblical significance of earthquakes themselves becomes a subject with prophetic implications. Revelation is clear that the greatest earthquake of all time will take place when Christ returns to earth. Christ proclaimed an abundance of earthquakes during the end times.

Biblically, earthquakes portend a fresh revelation in the heavens, one that shakes loose a corresponding change on earth and typically brings God presence to spreads his Word. More important than why the earthquake in Haiti happened is what will happen now and what will happen there in the future. The Bible offers several answers.

God clearly punished idol worshiping Old Testament Israelites with calamities ranging from floods and snake bite to locus and leprosy. Yet Solomon said, “Time and chance happens to them all,” and “It rains on the just and the unjust.” It’s clear that the fall of man not only brought chaos to man but to the earth. A key verse and one that speaks directly to Haiti is Romans 8:21-22 “Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”

Isaiah 14, which discusses the reasons Lucifer fell from heaven, indicates that Satan has the authority to cause earthquakes. Vs. 14 asks rhetorically, “Is this the man (Satan) who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms. . .?” To a degree of surety, it is impossible to know in every instance the mind of God. It is pure conjecture to speculate that God, Satan or the earth’s fallen state caused the earthquake in Haiti, or the Tsunami in Indonesia, or the recent El Nino that brought much needed rain to the San Joaquin Valley. The same rain that will make our vegetable cheaper next summer also caused some Christian homes to fill with mud.

It is far more important is to understand the prophetic implications of earthquakes and act accordingly. The exact moment Jesus yielded up his earthly spirit on the cross (Matt. 27:51) “. . . the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.” The very instant God gave man access to the Holy of Holies of God’s presence through Christ’s sacrifice, the fallen earth reacted with an earthquake and a force that split rocks. And when the pagan Roman Soldiers witnessed the earth’s reaction “They feared, greatly, saying ‘Truly, this was the Son of God.’”

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see Christ’s tomb. . . “And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it.” The earthquake was earth’s reaction to heaven’s announcement that Christ had escaped the tomb and overcome death. And after the angel’s announced that Christ had risen, the women “ . . . went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word (vs 8). Christ rose, the angel caused a “great earthquake,” on earth and when he announced the victory, the women literally ran to spread the good news.

And then there is the story in Acts 16 when Paul and Silas were jailed for interfering with Philippi’s commerce by casting out a demon. While praying and singing, and with all the prisoners listening, there came a “great earthquake,” that shook the prison’s foundation and loosened their chains. But instead of acting in the flesh and racing out, Paul announced to the jailer, about to commit suicide because he would be killed when his superior discovered the escape, that they were still THERE. And the reaction to the announcement? The jailer actually asked “What must I do to be saved?” The earthquake was not only a reaction that heaven had opened the doors to the spiritual freedom of salvation in Philippi, but had prepared hearts to receive it, in part because they were still THERE.

Yet perhaps the most prophetic earthquake occurred on Mt. Sinai (Exodus 19 and 20). Moses went up the mountain on “the third day” when God promised to reveal Himself. Moses and the rest heard thunder and saw the mountain completely engulfed in smoke “like the smoke of a furnace.” Still, the leader swallowed his fear and went up to hear from God, who spoke the words “I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (20:1).” Scripture records that when “the trumpet became louder and louder, (in apparent chaos) Moses spoke and God answered him by voice. Then the Lord CALLED Moses to the top of the mountain, AND MOSES WENT UP.”

And what did Moses receive? The law, a standard of conduct that was fulfilled in Christ, his Great Commission and His commandment to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The earthquake in Haiti is like many in the Bible. Through it, God has proclaimed that He is calling us to the top of His mountain and we are to go despite the smoke and thunder. This earthquake is also heaven’s proclamation that we have direct access to God’s presence, we serve a risen Christ and we are to run with the Good News. After all, the foundation has been shaken, chains loosened and hearts prepared.

The groaning of the earth in Haiti, however horrible and no matter the cause, is also the birth pains of Romans 8, heralding the birth of deliverance “from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”

The Coming Fury of an Angry America

A tiny part of a tiny part of the population of the earth will set the terms for the future of all humans. A tiny part that is broken, spent out, and increasingly disillusioned. That sliver of humanity is the broken, spent out, and increasingly disillusioned American middle class, burdened with the task of spending all America out of catastrophe. When they break under the weight of desperate impossibility, how will the heartlands good citizens react, and what will they do?

According to the World Bank, there are 6,692,030,277 human beings on the earth. 308,108,741 of them live in the United States, about 4.6% of the total. Of these fortunate Americans, about 231,000,000 are of voting age. In general elections in history's greatest democracy, about half those eligible to vote actually do...115 million people. History's greatest democracy has only two options every election, a choice between two almost similar positions, and the winning option typically enjoys the support of only half of those who choose, approximately 60 million individuals.

For a scant 90 years, America has been the wealthiest, most powerful group of humans in all 20,000 years of recorded civilization. Decisions made by Americans can and do affect the lives of every other human on the planet, often for both present and future, good and bad. By brute force of American economics alone, a single, small 0.9% of the 6.6 billion people who call earth home set the agenda for each and every one of all the rest of us. Not even by force of arms has there ever been a time in glorious history when so few people dominated so many in so complete a way.

Centuries from now, historians will want to know whom these few people were, if only to understand how they lived and thought, and better know the cause of global events that shaped the world they live in. As we in our time grapple to understand who the powers were that made a Roman, a Roman, future thinkers will want to dissect the condition of the less than one per cent of all humanity who call themselves American, and who alone make America, America... and the earth, American as well.

It cost 1 billion dollars and four years to have .9% of the earth elect the President of the United States in 2008. It took a similar amount of time and money to be the guy that lost. Hundreds of millions more are expended to elect the 535 people who make up the United States Congress. No statistical analysis is required to understand that these are among the wealthiest and most privileged humans in all of history. A tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of the population of the planet. This, we are led to believe is democracy, and so this small sliver is at least nominally responsible to those few who elected them, and nobody else.

Like all great empires, America has a well-defined class structure. As a fedora on a table, at one brim is the thin cruel line of poverty and disenfranchisement, at the other brim another thin line of luxury and excess, and a middle where the head goes which has historically been the big, fat, American middle class. The middle class sets the agenda by dearth of weight, the luxury class promoting the agenda where and when it suits them. The lower class don't matter at all.

The great American middle class, then, at least nominally controls the fate of the planet. They do so by electing wealthy folks who pander to their interests, those wealthy folks whose interpretations of the middle class becomes policy. Future folks will want to understand how representative those interpretations were, and will want to see if changes in the middle class over time were responsible for changes in American policy towards the world.

If anything defines the great American middle class, it is the concept of the American Dream. The basic building block of the American Dream is the family - mom, dad, 2.4 kids and a dog. The "dream" part is the very American right to economic freedom, freedom to accumulate stuff. A box on a postage stamp in a sea of urban sprawl called home, a couple of cars, a good education for the kids, and unrestricted ability to consume as much surplus crap as possible. Americans define success completely in economic terms and then attach the flag, religion, and everything else to it. Without this absolute right to consume hordes of junk, there is no American Dream, and no middle class. There is left only a lower class, (whatever that is), and a powerful capitalist class existing as it always has throughout time, changing flags and philosophy depending on how the winds blow. Caesar, Czar, King, or CEO of Goldman Sachs.

The rise of the middle class at the end of the 19th century tracks the rise of wealth and power for most western, industrialized nations. Production, trade, and consumption of machine made goods became a near universal indicator of the rise of modern civilization. However, 40 years of crushing war amongst European powers stalled the growth for most, but emerging America remained unscathed, benefiting from the misdemeanours of a now dead age. History will fix the date of the birth of absolute America to the year 1914, the dawn of the American age to 1945, and no doubt, the golden era to the short period that began to erode in 1971. Of the time since, we the generation here and now and in the teeth of it, can only speculate.

In the summer of 1914, America was an outlier in a world of teetering monarchies, festering colonial empires, and rancid landed aristocracies. While the rest of the world fed its gold and its young to the insatiable maw of industrial war, Americans were building a dream from limitless resources and the economic opportunities of a conflict that left America unspoiled and prosperous. By the close of hostilities in 1945, with the capital of the planet spent and exhausted, America burst from the ruins to begin the greatest run of prosperity and innovation of all time. The American middle class exploded, living the dream so thoughtfully given to them over a generation of global war.

Powerhouse America imposed its vision of a liberal, free market democracy on the "free world" through the Bretton Woods agreement of 1944. The United States became the world's greatest manufacturer of goods, trader of goods, and consumer of goods. Rebuilding the planet became a God given mission, the profits manna from heaven. The American dollar became the world's dollar. Freedom and cash registers rang.

But with the US greenback backed by gold, American economic expansion was limited to the bullion it horded. Wars in Korea and Viet Nam, and the massive expansion of "entitlements" with Social Security and Medicare among others, began to strain the American Dream. By the early 1970's the US had ceased to be an exporter of stuff, and the middle class began to buy increasingly cheaper stuff from abroad - at the expense of their own manufacturing and jobs. Given that the dream of freewheeling consumption was the bedrock of the burgeoning, voting middle class, politics insisted on a populist solution to the increasingly broke US economy. In 1971, Richard Nixon elected to abandon Bretton Woods, leave the gold standard, and America was free to print its way out of deficit and keep the dream alive.

At the same time as the US set the world awash in USD's, untold wealth and prosperity inflated its way through the massive baby boomer cohort. Women were entering the workforce in exponential numbers, soaking up inflated dollars with double incomes - and less expensive kids. American politics became a contest of pandering to the hedonistic desires of the American household, boom times embraced and fuelled by lax regulation and credit, busts fought off with the simple printing of even more money. Good times.

The American household saved 11% of its income in 1970, and had only 1.4% of its cash going to newfangled credit cards and auto loans. Everything else exchanged for clothes, appliances, food, houses, and shiny happy stuff, increasingly from overseas. Unknown to all, it was to be the high water mark for the middle class of America.

In 1971, American imports exceeded exports for the first time in modern history, by 2..6 billion dollars. At a time when a billion was a lot, America began paying to simply exist. Gross Public Debt had grown from 43 billion in 1940, to 381 billion by 1970. Within a single generation - the age of narcissism, the computer age, the age of globalization - the baby boomers of the American middle class had tilted the entire planets resources towards an unsustainable consumer culture. No longer living the dream, those alive just moments before Lehman Brothers listed over, rolled under, and disappeared below the waves of history, were fighting simply to keep the stuff they had.

The future had evaporated right before their shuttered eyes, and for over forty years.

The current version of the American middle class bears no resemblance at all to that of the end of the golden era in 1970. Forty years ago, Americans saved 11% of their earnings - which had evaporated by 2005, reaching the oxymoron of negative savings. Credit card debt shot from 1.4% to 15%. In the space of a generation, a single income family flush with cash, savings, and dreams had become a double income nightmare staggered with debt.

In 2008, there were more household bankruptcies than divorces.

The cost of crap fell and Wal Mart rose. Debt enslaved suburbanites now spend 32% less on clothing than they did a generation ago. 18% less on food, 52% less on appliances, and 24% less on cars. The middle class is consuming as voraciously as it ever has, however they have replaced sturdy $400.00 American Lawn Boy lawn mowers with $99.00 tin cans from China, and buy them now on credit. Some call that progress, others, value. In reality, it's inflation. The simple fact of the matter is Americans no longer have the disposable income to consume their way out of trouble, and that trouble lies in why it is the American middle class is broke, struggling, and increasingly angry.

At the same time that consumables were falling in price, the fixed portions of the American Dream began an exponential increase. Two incomes meant two cars - or three, or four - and despite the fact that cars were cheaper, the cost of cars to the two-income family rose by 52%. Houses got bigger, and mortgages increased 76% - with 10 million of them in various states of distress and foreclosure. Health insurance rose 76%, taxes 25%. Childcare was an expense nobody had a generation ago, but one that became essential with two adults working. The cost of education had increased - as did the length of time necessary to obtain that education. A ticket to the middle class that cost 12 years of school - grade one through high school - now includes daycare, preschool, grade school, high school, and then college. Americans must now pay for the additional time.

In 2005, that .09% of the earth that set the agenda for the planet was spending over 66% of its income on the fixed costs of the American dream alone, where it once spent less than a third. Or, to frame it in a way that defines the great problem, the American system that depends on rabid consumerism has left its heartland with exponentially decreasing amounts of disposable income, falling from 66% to 33% in a single lifetime. When George W Bush implored the middle class to spend its way out of the 9/11 chaos, in stunned and terrified whispers the American middle class muttered, "With what?"

"Our enormously productive economy...demands that we make consumption our way of life, that we convert the buying and use of goods into rituals, that we seek our spiritual satisfaction, our ego satisfaction, in consumption.... We need things consumed, burned up, replaced and discarded at an ever-accelerating rate"- Victor Lebeau, 1947

"Too much consumption and too little investment, too many imports and too few exports. We have not been on a sustainable economic track and that has to be changed. But those changes don't come overnight, they don't come in a quarter, they don't come in a year. You can begin them but that is a process that takes time. If we don't make that adjustment and if we again pump up consumption, we will just walk into another crisis."- Paul Volker, 2009

A tiny part of a tiny part of the population of the earth had constructed a global economic architecture that sustained it in wealth and excess, security and predictability. In a scant forty years that wealth, excess, security, and predictability have proved to be entirely unsustainable.. The approaching political climate of the American middle class will reflect the shock and desperation that may now be starting to manifest itself. How Americans react to their fast changing circumstance and what they will do about it will deeply affect the 95% of the earth's humans who are really only along for the ride.

In 2008, America gambled on hope, as hope is all it had. A new administration faced the growing catastrophe in the only way it could understand, frantically pumping in dollars to resuscitate a prostrate consumerism. An insane amount of debt piled up, the annual deficit soaring through $1,000,000,000.000. 00One trillion dollars. Absolutely none of it was used to purchase plasma TV's, hot tubs, or bling. The richest of Americans - as they always have - prospered along Wall Street and summered in the Hamptons while the drought stricken middle class waited for a rain that will never fall.

The American middle class will not spend its way out of disaster, if only because it can't. There are no savings. The house is worthless. The credit cards are gone. Jobs are disappearing. Today is bad and tomorrow looks worse. People are nervous, frightened, worried. They are behind in the mortgage, and struggle to make health insurance payments. All the while, they watch the stock market explode, the bonuses arrogantly roll on, and their government lie to their faces that the "recovery" is underway. China is booming, so is India and Brazil. Beneath the hope, patriotism, and the flag, the American middle class can feel it all slipping away.

In a nation consumed by politics, where pandering and lobbying are two sides of the same platitude, what will the increasingly angry gentle folks of Ohio, Iowa, and Florida demand of their philandering representatives in Washington? What form of instant remedy will some baseless political hack come to offer them as the snake oil for what ails them? How will those decisions come to dominate the lives of those in Canada, Ecuador, and Ghana?

In the distant future, historians will consider the rise, fall, and collapse of the great American Dream and conclude that was the cause of all that followed. None will be surprised at the all too human response of anger, frustration, and action in the teeth of injustice and inequality. After all, history is full of angry people who just weren't going to take it anymore. They will wonder only how it was we could not see it coming - how we could be so stupid to have blown it.

The coming fury of angry America is as palpable as it is silent. What will that tiny part of a tiny part of the earth's population do when the utter hopelessness of the situation washes over them and the tides of history curl around and bear them, inexorably, into the past?

What will they do?

The U.S. Government Is Being Funded By A Shell Game - The Federal Reserve Is Now Buying 80 Percent Of U.S. Government Debt

Most Americans have no idea just how bleak the economic future of the United States is. In 2009, the U.S. government was forced to borrow a much, much larger amount of money than ever before. So who did they get that money from? Did they borrow it from the China and Japan like they have in so many other years? Actually, no. In 2009, the Federal Reserve bought approximately 80 percent of all U.S. debt. But weren't they also the ones selling it? Yes, they were. It is called a shell game and it is now what is being used to fund the United States government.

But have you seen headlines about this in any mainstream media outlet? No. However, the fact that the Federal Reserve is now buying approximately 80 percent of U.S. government debt was recently admitted on CNBC. The video clip below is from January 8th, and at the 1:45 mark of the video CNBC anchor Erin Burnett mentions the 80 percent figure and uses the term "Ponzi scheme" to describe the current state of affairs....

So what is wrong with the Federal Reserve buying up so much of the U.S. government debt?

Well, the truth is that it is wrong on so many levels it is hard to even know where to begin.

First of all, when the Federal Reserve buys U.S. government debt, that does not leave us in a situation where we "owe the money to oursevles".

The Federal Reserve is not "us" - if you do not know this fact, then please read this article on our sister site. The United States does not "own" the Federal Reserve and it never has. The Federal Reserve is a private central bank that is owned and operated for profit by a group of elite international bankers (many of which are not even Americans).

Secondly, this action by the Federal Reserve represents extreme market manipulation. Normally what would happen is that interest rates on U.S. treasuries would rise until there were enough buyers to meet the supply.

But the Federal Reserve is not letting that happen. Instead they are swooping in and "buying" any treasuries that have not been sold at extremely low interest rates.

In this way, the Federal Reserve is keeping interest rates at ridiculously low levels. You see, if interest rates on treasuries started to skyrocket, that would immediately cause interest rates on everything else throughout the U.S. economy to fly through the roof.

If interest rates did skyrocket, there would be a massive cascade of mortgage defaults and personal bankruptcies and it would be an absolute death blow to the U.S. economy.

So instead of letting the free market have its way, the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve are manipulating the markets in an effort to keep interest rates artificially low.

But they can't do it forever.

And they are making the long-term economic problems of the United States far worse.

By flooding the U.S. financial system with cheap dollars, the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve may be able to prop up the U.S. economy for the moment, but they are also ensuring the death of the U.S. dollar.

When you put more dollars into the system, the value of each existing dollar decreases.

When you put gobs of new dollars into the system, the value of each existing dollar will ulitmately end up dramatically decreasing.

The dollars that you are holding right now are never going to have more value than they do today.

Someday when you wake up and a loaf of bread costs ten dollars, you can thank the Bush administration, the Obama administration and (most of all) the Federal Reserve for shoving the U.S. economy into the toilet.

At this point, nothing can save the U.S. dollar. Use them while they can still buy you something.

Because the day is coming soon when it may be cheaper to use dollars as toilet paper than to actually use them to buy toilet paper.

They Must Be Kidding! - Time Magazine Names Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke As Person Of The Year

Are they kidding? Time magazine has named Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as its Person of the Year. The magazine credits Bernanke with guiding the U.S. through the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. This comes at a time when criticism of the Federal Reserve has reached a boiling point. Many financial analysts are actually blaming the Federal Reserve and the international bankers behind it for creating the colossal financial mess that the world is in. To many, this move by Time Magazine is a blatantly transparent attempt by the financial establishment to prop up one of their most valued frontmen. Of course most of us know by now that some of the same financial interests that are behind the Federal Reserve are also behind Time Magazine. Can anyone say "conflict of interest"?

But Time Magazine appears not to fear any kind of criticism. Instead they speak of Bernanke as if he was something beyond a hero. In fact, the Time article casts Bernanke as some sort of courageous solider battling the demons of financial disaster....

"He led an effort to save the world economy."

The Time Magazine article goes on to bemoan the fact that the American public does not "appreciate" Bernanke. They portray him as some misunderstood hero who has sacrificed so much to save us all....

"He wishes Americans understood that he helped save the irresponsible giants of Wall Street only to protect ordinary folks on Main Street."

So did Ben Bernanke save the planet from disaster?

Or is something else going on?

That is how Ben Bernanke "saved" the U.S. economy - by flooding it with massive amounts of money.

This flood of money will eventually lead to massive inflation and the crash of the U.S. dollar.

Has The H1N1 Swine Flu Mutation That The WHO Has Confirmed In Ukraine And Norway Now Reached The United States?

In a very important story being vastly under reported in the mainstream media, the WHO has confirmed that an H1N1 swine flu virus mutation has been discovered both in Ukraine and in Norway. This mutation is reportedly causing the H1N1 virus to strike directly for the respiratory system of its victims. Doctors are reporting that those dying of this H1N1 strain in Ukraine are experiencing violent hemorrhaging in their lungs. As the victims near death, their lungs become as black as charcoal and literally disintegrate inside the chest cavities of the victims. Now there is a disturbing report out of Iowa that this mutation may have already spread to the United States.

Up until recently, the H1N1 swine flu had not really been any more harmful than most other seasonal flus that regularly appear. However, that all changed a few days ago when the WHO confirmed that an H1N1 mutation had been detected in Ukraine. This mutation involved a receptor binding domain change, and it is apparently causing the H1N1 swine flu virus to become much more virulent.

One of the most prominent differences is that this mutation is apparently causing violent hemorrhaging in the lungs of the victims. Temperatures inside the lungs of dying patients have reached temperatures of up to 135 degrees Fahrenheit, and as the victims die their lungs literally turn to mush and become as black as charcoal.

Recently one doctor in Western Ukraine was quoted as saying the following about what the lungs of victims who have died from this H1N1 flu look like....

"We have carried out post mortems on two victims and found their lungs are as black as charcoal. They look like they have been burned. It’s terrifying."

This H1N1 mutation has caused a national crisis in Ukraine, but now the WHO has also confirmed that this mutation has shown up in Norway.

Norway's Institute of Public Health has acknowledged in a statement that this mutation "could possibly...cause more severe disease" because it apparently infects tissue deeper in the airway than normal.

But if that wasn't bad enough, now there is a report that patients are dying with similar symptoms from an H1N1 flu in Iowa.

Commenting on a spike in H1N1 deaths in Iowa, Dr. Gregory Schmunk told KCCI news that what doctors there are seeing "is very heavy, wet hemorrhagic lungs, lungs with a lot of blood in them."

That sounds exactly like what doctors are seeing in Ukraine, Norway and other countries neighboring Ukraine.

Not only that, but the similarities between this new outbreak and the 1918 Spanish flu are more than a little chilling. The following are just three of the key similarities between the two outbreaks.....

#1) Both the Spanish flu and the current swine flu are of the H1N1 variety.

#2) At least some varieties of the 1918 flu had the same mutation that is now appearing in the H1N1 swine flu.

#3) Both the Spanish flu and the current swine flu produce massive hemorrhaging in the lungs of their victims. In fact, if you read about the kind of gruesome deaths that 1918 pandemic flu victims experienced, they sound very similar to what victims in Ukraine have been experiencing.

It is estimated that the 1918 Spanish flu killed between 50 and 100 million people worldwide.

Has the H1N1 swine flu now mutated into a more virulent strain that could kill millions?

And if all of that was not troubling enough, a Tamiflu resistant strain of the H1N1 swine flu has now shown up in Wales.

But the mainstream media has said very, very little about these mutations. Apparently they are bored with talking about H1N1, but the truth is that if this mutation is as virulent as some infectious disease experts believe, then this could quickly become the most important news story of 2010.

Over 1 Million Sick In Ukraine With A Flu That Disintegrates The Lungs - Has The H1N1 Swine Flu Mutated?

Ukraine is reporting that well over 1,000,000 people have contracted a mystery flu that disintegrates the lungs of its victims. What is making the panic in that region even worse is that up until this point the WHO has refused to release the sequences from the samples taken from patients in Ukraine over a week ago. Has the H1N1 swine flu now mutated? Has it become more like the 1918 Spanish flu that also caused massive hemorrhaging in the lungs and that killed between 50 and 100 million people worldwide. The truth is that until the WHO comes forward with some honest answers, speculation and panic are only likely to increase.

According to official numbers coming out of Ukraine, 1,122,188 people there have reported flu-like symptoms, 57,286 have been hospitalized and 189 are officially dead, although there are unconfirmed rumors that the number of dead is actually much higher.

But if that wasn't bad enough, now it appears that whatever is happening in Ukraine is starting to spread to neighboring countries. It is now being reported that there are nearly a quarter of a million people seriously ill with the flu in Belarus, and patients there are dying the same kind of deaths that we are seeing in Ukraine.

So exactly what is going on? It would be great if the WHO would tell us. A WHO team gathered samples from patients in Ukraine over one week ago, but at this point the WHO is still refusing to release the results of that testing to the world.

Many health experts across the globe are urging the WHO to release these sequences, but so far the WHO is not budging. Perhaps they do not want to alarm the public.

Bu the public is already becoming alarmed. News is getting out about the horrible way that people are dying in Ukraine.

Recombinomics has posted a translation from an official announcement by the Ukraine Ministry of Health that graphically describes how the lungs of dying patients in Ukraine are being totally destroyed:

The symptoms are observed at different stages of disease - a fever with a temperature over 38 C, cough, respiratory disorders. When cough was characterized by negligible allocation phlegm or dry unproductive cough with blotches of blood. All the patients come to hospital on average by 3-7 days of onset, were in serious condition. Period of time from onset to death averaged from 4 to 7 days. In all patients during a hospital for signs of respiratory insufficiency of various degrees, which quickly rose and manifested accelerated respiration rate, shortness of breath and effectiveness of independent breathing. X-ray studies were performed on 1-2 day hospitalization. Most patients experienced a double-headed particles of lower lung lesion, followed by a trend towards total destruction.

So just what in the world is happening to cause patients to die like this?

Well, many health experts are now postulating that the H1N1 swine flu virus may have mutated into a more dangerous form.

In fact, the symptoms of the flu victims in Ukraine are eerily similar to the symptoms experienced by victims of the 1918 Spanish flu in the early part of the last century.

Infectious disease expert Dr. Donald Lau was very blunt about his assessment of the situation in Ukraine: "The statistical probability of this being the same H1N1 virus are infinitesimally small."

The problem is that while everyone is still trying to figure out what is happening in Ukraine, it looks like this thing is starting to spread to neighboring countries. Not only are nearly a quarter of a million people sick in Belarus, but also Russian Chief Public Health Official Gennady Onishchenko has announced that most Russian regions are now on the verge of a flu epidemic, and a national swine flu epidemic has now been declared by the Health Ministry in Bulgaria.

The truth is that the WHO has really dropped the ball on this one. If the H1N1 swine flu virus has mutated, they are under a moral obligation to find out and to publicly announce that information as quickly as possible.

If the H1N1 swine flu virus has mutated into something much more virulent, the truth is that the swine flu vaccine isn't going to do an ounce of good for anybody. Not that it was safe anyway.

Is Barack Obama About To Sign A Treaty That Says A World Government Is Going To Be Created?

This upcoming December, U.S. President Barack Obama is scheduled to sign a treaty on climate change in Copenhagen, Denmark. The former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher says that he has read the treaty and that it explicitly says that a world government is going to be created. Is Barack Obama about to blatantly violate the U.S. Constitution by signing a document that gives up U.S. sovereignty without any debate or input from the people of the United States?

For a long time the global elite have viewed the threat of "global warming" as a way to get all the nations of the world to agree to increased "global governance". This new treaty takes this wacky global environmental agenda to frightening new levels.

On October 14th, Lord Christopher Monckton gave a presentation at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota during which he issued a dire warning regarding this "United Nations Climate Change Treaty". An excerpt of a portion of his remarks as reported by Canada Free Press is posted below. At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.

The truth is that the majority of the American people do NOT want to be under any kind of world government, but it seems as though the United Nations, the global warming wackos and Barack Obama are determined to railroad all of us towards that goal.

Extremely Invasive Body Scanners Being Installed At All Major U.S. Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has formally announced that it plans to install 150 extremely invasive body scanning machines for primary security screenings at airports across the United States. These extremely invasive scanners reveal strikingly graphic images of the exposed bodies of airline passengers, even including intimate medical details like colostomy bags or evidence of mastectomy.

In fact, the scanners are so accurate that some analysts claim that they produce better quality images of your exposed body than a magazine photograph would.

Keep in mind that these body scanners are going to be used as the "primary" security screening method at airports across the United States.

The alternative will be to have a security officer take you to the side and perform a "pat down", which many airline passengers are very uncomfortable with as well.

We were considering putting up a photo of what these "body scans" look like, but we decided not to because these body scans actually do border on obscenity.

The reality is that these "body scans" are the closest thing you can get to viewing a person's exposed body without actually seeing their skin.

Security officials in Australia where they have installed similar body scanning machines confess that these machines DO show people's exposed bodies.

Cheryl Johnson, the general manager of the Office of Transport Security in Australia, freely confessed the following about these intrusive scanners: "It will show the private parts of people, but what we've decided is that we're not going to blur those out, because it severely limits the detection capabilities."

The TSA insists that there will be measure in place to prevent security workers from gawking at the exposed bodies of passengers all day long, but the truth is that there are no laws or regulations that limit how the TSA uses these body scanners, only policies they choose to adopt. Any policy that they "choose to adopt" can be quickly discarded later.

A decade or two ago, even the most bizarre science fiction writers would not have dreamed of a world where security officers got to examine your exposed body before you could get on an airplane.

But it's happening.

The future is now, and it is not very private.

Death Bonds: Wall Street's Insidious Plan To Make Billions Off Of The Death Of Americans

Wall Street has come up with new financial instruments called "life settlements" that will pay money to investors when people die. Critics are calling these new life insurance instruments "death bonds", because the quicker the insured people die, the more money the investors make. To these critics, it seems very unsavory that a catastrophic event, such as a flu pandemic that kills millions of Americans, could suddenly put billions of dollars into the pockets of investors.

Financial analysts have blamed much of the financial meltdown of the past year on the failure of the exotic financial investments that Wall Street has dreamed up over the past decade. But that isn't stopping Wall Street from coming up with even more bizarre financial instruments.

So just how would Wall Street investors make billions off of the deaths of ordinary Americans? The New York Times recently described exactly how these new financial instruments will work.....

The bankers plan to buy “life settlements,” life insurance policies that ill and elderly people sell for cash — $400,000 for a $1 million policy, say, depending on the life expectancy of the insured person. Then they plan to “securitize” these policies, in Wall Street jargon, by packaging hundreds or thousands together into bonds. They will then resell those bonds to investors, like big pension funds, who will receive the payouts when people with the insurance die.

The frightening thing is that these financial instruments give investors an incentive to see the policyholders die as quickly as possible. The New York Times described it this way.....

The earlier the policyholder dies, the bigger the return — though if people live longer than expected, investors could get poor returns or even lose money.

Do you understand what this is saying?

It can basically be boiled down to this statement:

The faster people die, the more money that the investors will make.

Do you find that disturbing at all?

These kind of financial instruments set up a very disturbing scenario. If millions of Americans were to suddenly die from the swine flu or from the bird flu or for some other reason, that could result in billions of dollars in profit for Wall Street investors.

That is why these financial instruments are being called "death bonds".

What kind of sick investors would hope for the early death of Americans so that they can make a huge profit?

Some are criticizing the timing of these new financial instruments considering the fact that public health authorities keep on declaring that we are on the edge of a major swine flu pandemic.

Would these "death bonds" give Wall Street investors the desire to see the swine flu take as many lives as possible?

The truth is that this kind of financial instrument should be made illegal. Nobody should be making huge profits off of the premature deaths of Americans.
