Goodkeywords: downloadable freeware that queries a
number of popular search engines to identify good
keywords.
http://www.goodkeywords.com/

Example: “Hairstyles” when entered into Google Suggest
tells me that I should write articles about
“short hairstyles” or “hairstyles for men”.

Key Insight: While you may be tempted to write only about the most popular topics, also remember that these topics have the most competition within the search engines–meaning, you are fighting against hundreds or thousands of competitors to get the attention of the market to your article.

Perhaps a better strategy is to focus on the middle to lower “tail” of the market by looking at the 50th-200th most popular keywords or phrases from your keyword research and use them as your basis for your next set of articles. There will be less competition for the ‘long tail’ than the short list of most popular terms and key-phrases.

Tip: Look at how your niche keywords may intersect with a holiday or current event. It’s a great way to pick up current free interest traffic!

I recommend you try the Keyword Elite 2.0 , which can help you find more keywords, also help you analysis your competitors’ websites.

W3Schools Offline Version (Entire Website)

<img style="display:block; To all our lovely women please take time to ponder, however Guys can still enjoy the story.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, If after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death. The question was: What do women really want?

Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, He accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: The princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to consult the old witch, For only she would have the answer. But the price would be high as the witch was famous through out the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, The most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, And Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, Smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.

He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden,

But Lancelot, having learn't of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life. And the reservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered. Arthur's question thus: "What a woman really wants?"

She said, "Is to be in charge of her own life."
Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth.
And that Arthur's life would be spared.
And so it was.
The neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom.
And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.
The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom.
But, what a sight awaited him.
The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed.
The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.
The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, She would henceforth be her horrible and deformed self only half the time. And the beautiful maiden the other half.

"Which would you prefer? She asked him.
"Beautiful during the day .... or at night?"
Lancelot pondered the predicament.
During the day he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends,
But at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch!
Or,
Would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day?
But by night a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous, intimate moments with?

(If you are a man reading this...) What would YOUR choice be?
(If you are a woman reading this) What would YOUR MAN'S choice be?
What Lancelot chose, is given below:
BUT... make YOUR choice before you scroll down below... OKAY?
___________________________________________________________________________

Noble Lancelot, knowing the answer the witch gave Arthur to his question,
He said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself..
Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time.
Because, he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now... what is the moral to this story?

The moral is...
1) There is witch in every woman no matter how beautiful she is!
2) If you don't let a woman have her own way, things are going to get ugly.

So, always remember:
IT'S EITHER "HER WAY" OR IT'S "NO WAY" !!!

'What gender is 'computer' ?

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 314px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pv_bnTSq9lo/Sp6GR33OXAI/AAAAAAAAAVc/Drm_rEbIbJM/s320/computer-vision1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376882646738426882" />

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'
'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves
whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. Can IT get just as excited about the new server OS?

Here are five great things about Windows Server 2008 and information that will help you decide if upgrading is worth it.

1. Virtualization

Server 2008 comes with Hyper-V a virtualization technology that runs natively on Server 2008. New licensing terms that better align with business in the real world are a huge plus, but the improvements don’t stop there.

While load-balancing is probably still usually best done via a hardware solution, the virtualization in Server 2008 provides numerous opportunities to give flexibility to those with large or complicated infrastructures. Being able to create a new virtual server running a software upgrade or new install on it while leaving the old one completely functional is an enormous boon to the savvy IT department.

If there is any trouble with the new virtual server, the old virtual machine is rolled back in its place, allowing for more testing or troubleshooting while having to worry about neither too much downtime, nor taking too long to roll out new systems caused by “over-testing.”

2. Core Server Installs

Sometimes all you need is a server to sit there and handle just one little thing, and nothing else. In times past, that meant “wasting” a full server installation to handle little, but critical tasks. Securing those servers and then keeping all the patches and upgrades current often seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

Thanks to Core Installations of Server 2008, you can create a Windows Sever that not only does just one thing, but is only capable of doing that one thing rendering it a much less vulnerable system whether to bugs or attacks.

Even better, Server 2008 is smart enough to only bother applying patches that apply to what is actually installed and running on the core server which eliminates numerous updates from ever having to run (and possibly harm) these core servers.

3. Read Only Domain Controllers

Somewhere along the line, domain controllers ended up scattered across many enterprises primarily for speed and fault-tolerance purposes. Generally, while perhaps a slight overkill in many situations, this practice was relatively harmless.

Then, somewhere along the way, the physical security of domain controllers became an uncontrollable factor as remodels or personnel changes left domain controllers sitting under the receptionist’s desk or in the corner of a conference room. While not a widely used tactic, compromising a domain controller and then using its replication features to infest an entire Active Directory with numerous administrator level accounts became a real fear.

Fortunately, the Read-Only Domain Controller solves this problem by allowing for placement out in the field beyond the control of corporate IT but without the ability to send any junk data back into the main network.

4. PowerShell

Real administrators never stopped using the command line to manage servers. Between scripting repetitive or error prone tasks, to just flat out getting something done fast without having to load up any point and click GUI — firing off commands with a few keyboard strokes has always been useful.

But, with PowerShell even admins who gave up the command line are coming back. Doing something to multiple servers is easier than ever with PowerShell. And even better, those 2:30 AM pages from the monitoring system can be addressed remotely from the command line without even putting on your robe, especially if you pre-write some scripts before anything happens.

5. TS RemoteApp

When I first read about TS RemoteApp I was underwhelmed. Frankly, I liked the idea of having a remote desktop and then picking and choosing what to run there. Apparently, that is a system admin mentality.

For users, nothing could be more confusing that having a remote desktop in addition to the local one. After the 800th user asked me which desktop was their “real” desktop, I realized the value of TS RemoteApp.

With RemoteApp, an application is run remotely, just like the old days, but the big difference is that it launches straight into the application, no desktop, no “second” double-click, no confusion about where the files “really” are located.

Windows Server 2008 Upgrade Is Worth It

Add in all of the performance and stability improvements that Server 2008 brings to the table and you have yourself a solid server OS upgrade.

Many companies will follow the tried and true method of upgrading as new hardware comes online. However, there are many instances in which certain applications, certain server functions, and certain servers outside of the corporate IT server rooms would benefit from an upgrade to Server 2008.

In those cases, it is worth it to schedule upgrades ahead of the hardware lifecycle. Also, with server power increasing faster than many enterprises take advantage of it, waiting for a hardware based need might mean waiting too long.

A smart solution is to evaluate your current server environment and evaluate which servers could benefit most from an upgrade to Server 2008 because of additional needs or limitations that the current servers have. Once those servers have been taken care of, move on to your newest and most powerful servers.

Chances are that they are not being fully utilized. Those servers are prime candidates for Hyper-V and taking on more functionality and responsibility. The same servers will of course be the ones the furthest away from hardware needs based upgrades as well.

Working ahead on sever OS upgrades in this manner can shorten the overall migration time while still providing minimal disruption to the currently functioning server environment, and that is a Win-Win for everyone involved.

10 handy Firefox about:config hacks
Unless you’re a Firefox power user, you may not be familiar with the about:config page. The Firefox about:config page is not so much a page as it is a somewhat hidden configuration section. It’s hidden because it’s fairly powerful and not nearly as simple to use as the standard Preferences window. In the about:config page, you have to know what you are doing or you can mess things up a bit. In fact, when you attempt to go to that page for the first time, you have to accept an agreement (which is really just a warning) before you can continue.

How this page works is simple. You reach the page by entering about:config in the address bar. There are entries (one per line) that handle various types of configurations. Each entry has a searchable keyword. The entries can be of Boolean, integer, or string value. Entries contain Name, Status, Type, and Value. Typically, you will be modifying only the Value, by double-clicking on it and making the change. With all of that in mind, let’s take a look at 10 of the best ways you can “hack” the about:config page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tip

If Firefox is fubar’d because you accidentally misconfigured about:config, you can fix it in one of two ways:

* Make a backup of your prefs.js file before you start editing. Then, if something goes wrong, you can restore it by copying it over the corrupt file.

* If you can’t restore via a backup prefs.js file, you can exit Firefox and issue the command firefox -safe-mode to bring up the Firefox Safe Mode screen. Then, just select Reset All User Preferences To Firefox Defaults. Note: This will restore all user preferences to their default values.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: Speed up Firefox

This hack requires a few steps. Search for pipelining in the filter and you should see:

network.http.pipelining: Change this to true.

network.http.proxy.pipelining: Change this to true.

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: Change this to 8.

Now search for max-connections and you should see:

network.http.max-connections: Change this to 96.

network.http.max-connections-per-server: Change this to 32.

2: Disable antivirus scanning

This is only for the Windows version. If you’re downloading large files, this scanning can seriously slow things down. And since you will most likely scan the downloaded file anyway, you’ll probably want to disable this. Of course, if you are uber paranoid (not a bad trait for computing), you might want to leave this entry alone.

To disable antivirus scanning, search for scanWhenDone and you should see:

browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone: Change this to false.

3: Open Javascript popups as tabs

If a popup window lacks the features of a browser window, Firefox will handle it like a popup. If you would prefer to open all windows, including popups, as new tabs, you need to tell Firefox in about:config. Search for newwindow and you will see three entries. Of those three entries, you will want to modify:

browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction: Change this to 0.

4: Spell checking in all fields

By default, Firefox checks spelling only in multiple-line text boxes. You can set it to check spelling in all text boxes. Search for spellcheckdefault and you should see:

layout.spellcheckDefault: Change this to 2.

5: Open search bar results in new tab

When you use the search bar, the results display in the current tab. This can be a nuisance because you will navigate out of the page you are currently in. To make sure Firefox always opens search results in a new tab, search for openintab and you should see:

browser.search.openintab: Change this to true.

6: Auto export bookmarks

In Firefox 3, bookmarks are automatically saved and exported for you. The only problem is that by default, they’re saved as places.sqlite instead of the more convenient bookmarks.html. To change this setting so that they can be easily re-imported, search for autoExportHTML and you should see:

browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML: Change this to true.

7: Disable extension install delay

One of the few gripes I have with Firefox is the silly countdown you must endure every time you want to install an extension. Fortunately, this can be disabled. Search for enable_delay and you should see:

security.dialog_enable_delay: Change this to 0.

8: View source code in an external editor

When you need to view the source of a page, it opens up in browser popup. Most developers would probably like to have that opened in their favorite editor instead of having to cut and paset. To do this, there are two entries to modify. Search for view_source.editor and you will see:

view_source.editor.external: Change this to true.

view_source.editor.path: Change this to the explicit path to your editor of choice.

9: Get more add-on search results

When you do a search in the Add-on window, you’ll see just five results. You might find it more efficient to increase this number. Search for getAddons and you should see:

extension.getAddons.maxResults: Change this to 10 (or higher, if you want to see even more).

10: Redefine the Backspace button

Did you know you can configure Firefox to use the backspace button to either go back a page or go up a page? This keeps power users from having to go back and forth from the keyboard to the mouse. Search for backspace and you will see:

browser.backspace_action: Change this to 0 for previous page and 1 for page up.

Top 10 Linux financial tools.

Many people don’t realize the wealth of applications that are available for Linux. The arena of finance is no exception. Plenty of outstanding financial applications are available for the Linux operating system. From personal finance to business finance, there is an application for nearly every need. Let’s take a look at the top Linux financial applications.

1: Gnucash

I start off with this application simply because it’s my financial application of choice. Gnucash is released under the GPL so it is fully open sourced and is available for Linux, BSD, Solaris, OS X, and Windows. Gnucash features double-entry accounting, stock/bond/mutual fund accounts, small-business accounting, customer/vendor/job invoicing, QIF/OFX/HBCI Import/Transaction matching, reports/graphs, scheduled transactions, and financial calculations. Gnucash is incredibly easy to use and handles multiple accounts. Importing QIF files is simple, and entering transactions is intuitive. Gnucash can export to TXF format for tax preparation programs.

2: KMyMoney

This is a finance application often included in KDE. KMyMoney has a user-interface similar to Quicken. In fact, those familiar with Quicken will find themselves right at home with KMyMoney. The biggest difference between KMyMoney and Quicken is that KMyMoney can’t communicate directly with financial institutions. You can import QIF and Gnucash data, but the only format that can be exported is QIF. KMyMoney is also licensed under the GPL.

3: Moneydance

Moneydance is proprietary software that’s available for Linux, OS X, and Windows. Moneydance is one of the more fully featured financial applications available for Linux and includes such features as online banking and bill payment, budget management, scheduled/recurring payments, portfolio tracking, report generation, Quicken and Money data importation, encryption, and international support. Moneydance does require Java. Fortunately, there are versions of Moneydance that come prepackaged with Java, so those who are a bit weary of the task of installing Java (especially on a Linux machine) don’t have to worry. The interface is very intuitive. Moneydance costs $39.99 per license. There is no corporate or individual licensing.

4: Appgen MyBooks

If you’re looking for commercial or accounting level software, this might be just what you need. Written for Linux (Linspire, to be exact), OS X, and Windows, this software package is double-entry and fully audited and conforms to the standards of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles.) MyBooks can be purchased as a single-user license, two-user license, and 10-user license. It can be set up as a single system or as a client/server network system. A free trial version of MyBooks is available. This package also handles inventory (including perpetual inventory), service-based businesses, charting, statements, batch entries, ODBC, and vouchers.

5: Nolapro

Don’t let the free price tag of Nolapro fool you. This is for serious business. Although not open source, this package is free to use in any size environment and handles everything from inventory, accounts receivable, general ledger, POS, vendors, customers, B2B, online shopping cart, and payroll. Nolapro does require a database installation, but other than that, installation is simple. Nolapro is designed to be a network installation so the server can be accessed by multiple clients via browser. The license is unlimited users, unlimited companies, and unlimited books. For personal finance, you might want to skip Nolapro — its feature list will probably overwhelm you.

6: Linux Business Accounting Systems BasicBooks

Linux Business Accounting Systems offers BasicBooks General Ledger for Linux. This application features complete financial reporting, support for all decimal-denominated currency, and unlimited transactions. BasicBooks uses the PostgreSQL database and is easy to use and learn. One of the nicest features of this package is that transaction databases can be loaded into spreadsheets for report creation. System requirements are low (Linux OS with GTK+ library and PostgreSQL; the program requires only 373K bytes). BasicBooks costs $20 per CPU and is available in binary package form (for RedHat, Fedora, SuSe, Ubuntu, Vector, and others), which includes the user reference manual.

7: Quasar Accounting

This particular package is part of a full-fledged POS package that can be run as stand-alone accounting software. Quasar is not open source (although a purchased commercial license provides full access to the source code) and is available for Linux and Windows. Features include international support, outstanding GUI, simple data entry, error correction, backup/restore, online help, multi-company support, data import, mailing labels, user-level security, chart of accounts, statement printing, journal entries, customer quotes, sales orders, invoicing, multiple taxes, discounting, price management, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliation. You can download an evaluation version. A free single-computer edition is also available.

8: SQL-Ledger

This is one of the oldest Linux accounting/ERP systems. SQL-Ledger is a double-entry accounting system that has an amazing list of features, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, voucher system, general ledger, inventory control, billing, time cards, POS, check printing, purchase/sales orders, taxes, multi-user/company, audit control, SQL server backend, templates, customers, vendors, chart of accounts, and financial statements. SQL-Ledger is often considered the “best of” for Linux accounting. Obviously, this is another package that’s far more than a financial tool. Someone looking for single-user financial software might want to look elsewhere. But if you need a small to midsize financial solution, you should look here first.

9: Rapid Graphing Software for Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities

If you don’t have or follow stocks/stock portfolios, you won’t know what Rapid is for. Features include candlesticks, OBV, moving averages, Macd, Stochastics, RSI, Wilder DMI, Fibonacci, and Slope. Rapid will import text data and includes multiple journals that allow you to record your trades, graph trading performance and calculate totals for tax purposes. The Linux version of Rapid can print and share charts over the Net. Rapid is free to use and simple to install.

10: Crossover Office

Those of you who can’t live without Quicken or Money can always use Crossover Office and install either of those applications. You will have to pay for both pieces of software, but if you need Quicken’s (or Money’s) features, you’re in luck.

Linux can handle nearly every financial need you can think of. Whether you’re a single user wanting a simple digital replacement for your checkbook or a company looking for a full-blown accounting package, Linux has you covered.

The Difference between FOCUSING on PROBLEMS and FOCUSING on SOLUTIONS.

Case # 1: When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they
found out that the pens would not work at zero gravity (ink will not
flow down to the writing surface).

Solution # 1 :To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12
million. They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down,
underwater, in practically any surface including crystal and in a
temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.

Solution # 2 : And what did the Russians do...?? They used a. pencil.

Case # 2 :One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management
was the case of the empty soapbox, which happened in one of Japan 's
biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a
consumer had bought a soapbox that was empty.

Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly Line,
which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery
department. For some reason, one soapbox went through the assembly line
empty.

Management asked its engineers to solve the problem.

Solution # 1: Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray
machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all
the soapboxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not
empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they spent a
whoopee amount to do so.

Solution # 2 : But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was
posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of
X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution.

He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the
assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soapbox passed the
fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.

Moral

* Always look for simple solutions.
* Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the problems.
* Always focus on solutions & not on problems.

Web is Punked !

What is Punk – what is Punk rock?

Here’s a definition I shamelessly lifted from wikipedia:

Punk rock is a rock music genre that developed between 1974 and 1976 in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Rooted in garage rock, punk rock bands eschewed the perceived excesses of mainstream 1970s rock. They created fast, hard-edged music, typically with short songs, stripped-down instrumentation, and often political, anti establishment lyrics. Punk embraces a DIY (do it yourself) ethic, with many bands self-producing their recordings and distributing them through informal channels.

When I read the above definition – I loved it so much I decided to highlight the key words and talk about them in our new world of the web and why the punk ethic is what we are embracing.

Garage Rock – Many of us start in our garage, or lab/spare room – we start our projects simply because we have a vision of doing it our way, or because it’s just worth doing. We are doing it for us. We start without any support. We pull together the minimum requirements to get started.

Eschewed the perceived excesses of mainstream – Large corporations have been taking advantage of us consumers, no – ‘people’ for far too long. Mainstream business has been churning out average stuff for average people and making large profits doing so. The excess has sickened us to the point where we have shown we can get our startups off the ground, with the software and tools we built for ourselves. We provide something better and our fans prove it. Importantly success has not driven us to become corpulent pigs simultaneously. We beleive in egalitarianism.

Fast, hard-edged - We focus on speed. Before the large corporations have even turned around – we have a following a passionate fan group, and they wonder what happened.

Stripped-down instrumentation - We don’t need every tool in the business to make stuff happen. There is no research department, there is no prototype or an excess of departments involved – just us. We just make great stuff with a minimum of inputs. It’s made with passion so it just works.

Political, anti establishment -Yes, we want to do it different, we want to bust down the old paradigm, and have some fun doing it. The establishment does annoy us, and we want to show them we can do it better. We treat our customers like people, and engage on a personal level. We engage in conversation, and listen. We hate the arrogance of large corporations, so quite simply we don’t behave like them. We embrace the crowd and let things evolve.

Embraces a DIY -We don’t ask for permission. We don’t need to work within the existing infrastructure. We don’t need authoritative figures lining our pockets to get started. And in many area this is a valid concept. But as far as deadlines are concerned this is something we should adopt. We should be strict on deadlines in the same way we had exams, and due dates at work. It’s a simple and vital discipline.

Work expands with the time allowed for it’s completion. So the time must be stamped. With an agreed deadline, we must cram to get it done. We must be accountable and our business will benefit.

If we don’t embrace the simple discipline of deadlines our more astute competitors will evolve much quicker, and more quickly make their stuff awesome. Deadlines ensure we continue to make our company, product or website awesome. Because each deadline is an incremental improvement. Without deadlines all we end up with is awesome and ever evolving blueprints, which our customers never see, or gain any benefit from.

We says – embrace deadlines and win.

Cisco CCSP - Exam-Pack 642-523: SNPA
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pv_bnTSq9lo/SgV4c5VVm4I/AAAAAAAAAU0/KPTHC7itS8Y/s320/721-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333801771512208258" />

Network security is a must-have, and Cisco’s Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) combines the features of PIX firewall, intrusion prevention, network antivirus, VPN, Modular Policy framework, advanced protocol handling, AIPSSM & CSCSSM and the ASDM graphical interface into a single device.

ASA makes advanced network security possible at small businesses and remote offices and on internal portions of larger networks.

Our Exam-Pack 642-523: SNPA covers Cisco’s Securing Networks with PIX and ASA (SNPA) exam. It tells prospective employers that you can handle the day-to-day work of running a a mid- to large-sized Cisco network.

The two-exam CCNA process covers lots of innovative features, which better reflect the skills and knowledge you’ll need on the job. Passing both exams is your first step towards higher-level Cisco certification.

CBT Nuggets Trainer Jeremy Cioara responded to Cisco’s second exam with a video series carefully mapped to that test.

Every mid- to large-sized business today uses VLANs. Jeremy’s training gives you all the information you need to design, configure and manage in a VLAN environment.

Jeremy also offers you a foundational understanding of OSPF, the most popular routing protocol in the world. And, by the time you’re done, he’ll have you performing some pretty snazzy NAT-configured stuff as well.

Here’s how one user described Jeremy’s training: "By the way Jeremy Cioara has to be by far one of the BEST Cisco Trainers I have ever had the privilege to learn from overall. He not only keeps your attention but his energy is contagious and he provides the information at a level where you grasp it rather easily."

Watch the attached free video and see for yourself just how good CCNA training can be.

Here's what you'll learn from the Cisco CCNA - Exam-Pack 640-816: ICND2 videos:

Video 1 - "Review: Rebuilding the Small Office Network, Part 1" Jeremy begins the ICND2 series by rebuilding much of the network that existed in ICND1 as a "cram-session" review of key concepts. This video focuses on the LAN (switch-based) environment.

Video 2 - "Review: Rebuilding the Small Office Network, Part 2" The ICND1 network rebuild continues. This video focuses on the key router concepts and configurations.

Video 3 - "Review: Rebuilding the Small Office Network, Part 3" The ICND1 review wraps up with a full implementation of RIP routing across the office network.

Video 4 - "Switch VLANs: Understanding VLANs" VLANs have absolutely changed the face of networks over the last decade; it is rare to walk into any large network that is not build upon a VLAN foundation. This video walks you through the definition of VLANs and discusses how to architect VLANs for your network.

Video 5 - "Switch VLANs: Understanding Trunks and VTP" The VLAN discussion continues through the ideas of VLAN Trunking and the VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP). These allow VLANs to stretch through your entire organization rather than remaining on a single switch.

Video 6 - "Now that the concepts are in place, let's configure some VLANs!" This initial VLAN configuration video walks you through the setup of trunking and VTP.

Video 7 - "Switch VLANs: Configuring VLANs and VTP, Part 1" The VLAN configuration wraps up as we assign the switchports to the necessary VLANs and implement Inter-VLAN routing using a router-on-a-stick configuration.

Video 8 - "Switch VLANs: Configuring VLANs and VTP, Part 2" Installing redundant switch links in a network environment is absolutely critical to a network's success. At the same time, installing redundant links in a network environment can cause the entire network to crumble in a few seconds. Interested? Join Jeremy as he discusses the place of the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) in network environments.

Video 9 - "Switch STP: Configuring Basic STP" While STP is operational on every Cisco switch by default, it needs to be modified to work optimally. This video walks you through the initial STP implementation and optimization.

Video 10 - "Switch STP: Enhancements to STP" Because STP was created many years ago, it is not optimized for the speedy convergence that networks require in our modern times. This video discusses the recent STP optimizations implemented through the Rapid STP protocol.

Video 11 - "General Switching: Troubleshooting and Security Best Practices" To wrap up the LAN section of the ICND2 series, Jeremy walks you through switch troubleshooting best-practices and hits common trouble spots in a LAN environment.

Video 12 - "Subnetting: Understanding VLSM" If there's one concept everyone in the Cisco must know, it's IP subnetting. ICND2 expands on the subnetting foundations of ICND1 by introducing Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM). Keep in mind, the original subnetting videos from the ICND1 series are available as an appendix to this series.

Video 13 - "Routing Protocols: Distance Vector vs. Link State" The ICND1 series focused primarily on Distance Vector routing protocols such as RIP. The ICND2 series branches into the Link State and Hybrid routing protocols. This video explores the difference between these routing protocol categories and discusses the problems associated with Distance Vector routing loops.

Video 14 - "Routing Protocols: OSPF Concepts" OSPF is, by far, the most popular routing protocol in the world. Despite its popularity, it is also one of the most complex routing protocols in existence. In this video, Jeremy discusses the key concepts behind the OSPF routing protocol.

Video 15 - "Routing Protocols: OSPF Configuration and Troubleshooting" It's now time to implement the OSPF concepts in our network. This video walks you through the conversion of the ICND2 office network from RIP to OSPF. Jeremy goes quite a bit beyond the standard CCNA curriculum to demonstrate a multi-area OSPF configuration that includes route summarization!

Video 16 - "Routing Protocols: EIGRP Concepts and Configuration" Cisco created EIGRP to combine the best features of Distance Vector (easy to configure) and Link State (many features) into a single routing protocol. This video discusses the concepts and configuration of the EIGRP routing protocol.

Video 17 - "Lists: The Rules of the ACL" Cisco access-lists are used not only for security purposes, but for just about every major network configuration you will find on a Cisco router. This video discusses the key concepts behind access-lists and their configuration.

Video 18 - "Access-Lists: Configuring ACLs" Access-lists in action! This video walks you through the configuration of standard access-lists in practical scenarios.

Video 19 - "Access-Lists: Configuring ACLs, part 2" The access-list action continues! This video walks you through the configuration of extended access-lists in practical scenarios.

Video 20 - "NAT: Understanding the Three Styles of NAT" You'll be hard-pressed to find any network in operation that is not using Network Address Translation (NAT) in some form. In this video, Jeremy walks through the three forms of NAT implemented in today's networks.

Video 21 - "NAT: Command-line NAT Configuration" It's time to provide Internet access to our ICND2 office network. This video explores the configuration of each of the three forms of NAT.

Video 22 - "WAN Connections: Concepts of VPN Technology" It's time to turn our attention to the Wide Area Network (WAN). One of the fastest growing "WAN technologies" is not really a WAN technology at all: Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). VPNs use existing Internet connections to connect remote offices and users. In this video, Jeremy walks you through the place of VPNs in today's network and the basics of VPN security.

Video 23 - "WAN Connections: Implementing PPP Authentication" Leased Lines are one of the more conventional ways to interconnect office networks. There are two data link protocols used to operate leased line connections in the Cisco realm: HDLC and PPP. This video reviews the benefits of each and reconfigures the ICND2 office network to use PPP authentication.

Video 24 - "WAN Connections: Understanding Frame Relay" Packet Switched networks are still the darling of the WAN link industry, combining the best of two worlds: performance and price. Frame Relay continues to reign as one of the more popular Packet Switched network types. This video discusses the concepts, terminology and design of a Frame Relay network.

Video 25 - "WAN Connections: Configuring Frame Relay" There are two possible ways to configure a Frame Relay network: using a Multipoint or Point-to-Point configuration. In this video, Jeremy sets up both and offers some advice as to what the best Frame Relay design.

Video 26 - "IPv6: Understanding Basic Concepts and Addressing" Welcome to the Next Generation: TCP/IP version 6 (IPv6). Everything is changing and changing fast. The Internet2 is growing with new networks every day. This video prepares you for the upcoming IPv6 transition by walking through the new addressing standards and communication types.

Video 27 - "IPv6: Configuring, Routing, and Interoperating" Cisco routers have begun to support TCP/IPv6 configurations. This video walks you through the configuration of IPv6 addresses on your routers and even shows the configuration of RIP Next Generation (RIPng)! Finally, Jeremy wraps up this video by discussing strategies to migrate your network from running IPv4 to IPv6.

Video 28 - "Certification: Some Last Words for Test Takers" To wrap up the CCNA series, Jeremy gives some last words to test-takers on how best to prepare for the ICND1, ICND2, and CCNA certification exams.

Appendix: subnetting videos from the Cisco CCNA/CCENT Exam-Pack 640-822 ICND1 video series:

Appendix Video 1 "Advanced TCP/IP: Working with Binary" - This video begins the move to the world of advanced TCP/IP addressing. More specifically, you will learn the skill of IP subnetting. One of the most foundational skills in subnetting is converting from decimal to binary and back. This video carefully explains this skill and provides many examples to practice.

Appendix Video 2 - "Advanced TCP/IP: IP Subnetting, Part 1" - The first style of subnetting you'll need to learn is the ability to separate IP addresses into subnets based on the number of networks an organization needs. This video walks through the initial style.

Appendix Video 3 - "Advanced TCP/IP: IP Subnetting, Part 2" - The second style of subnetting you'll need to learn is the ability to separate IP addresses into subnets based on the number of hosts an organization needs in each network. This video explains this style.

Appendix Video 4 - "Advanced TCP/IP: IP Subnetting, Part 3" - The final style of subnetting you'll need to learn is the ability to reverse engineer subnets based on the IP address and subnet mask that has been given. This video discusses this final style.

or

or

Blogger: Beyond the Basics: Customize and promote your blog with original templates, analytics, advertising, and SEO
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 259px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_pv_bnTSq9lo/SgAeRP8suYI/AAAAAAAAAUU/aSnLz48EMFY/s320/66279.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332295240494397826" />

Packt Publishing | ISBN: 184719317X | 2008 | 356 pages | PDF | 12,7 MB

This book will take you beyond the basics of Blogger, helping you take full advantage of the rich and powerful features of Blogger to transform your blog into a fresh and state-of-the-art blog as quickly and painlessly as possible.

The book is aimed at current users of the Blogger platform who want to get the most out of Blogger and people who use a different blogging platform and are planning on switching to Blogger. Recent world events have brought more and more Americans and other English speakers into contact with Arabic-speaking populations, and governments and businesses are increasingly aware of the importance of basic Arabic language skills. Arabic for Dummies provides you with a painless and fun way to start communicating in Arabic.

Why should you learn Arabic? Well, besides the fact that over 200 million people in more than 22 nations use it to communicate, there are tons of reasons to get up to speed this 1,400 year old language, including:

* Nearly all of the Middle-East speaks Arabic or one of its dialects
* Basic Arabic skills are extremely useful for anyone traveling to, doing business in, or serving in the Middle East
* It is the language in which the Koran is written
* There is a rich, centuries-old literary tradition in Arabic

Arabic For Dummies presents the language in the classic, laid-back For Dummies style. Taking a relaxed approach to this difficult language, it’s packed with practice dialogues and communication tips that will have you talking the talk in no time. You’ll get the scoop on:

* The Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, basic grammar, and the rules of transliteration
* The history of the language and information on classical Arabic and its dialects
* How to make small talk and make yourself understood when dining, shopping, or traveling around town
* How to communicate on the phone and in business conversations
* Handy words and phrases for dealing with money, directions, hotels, transportation, and emergencies
* Arabic culture and etiquette, including ten things you should never do in Arabic countries

The book also includes an Arabic-English dictionary, verb tables, and an audio CD with dialogues from the book to help you perfect your pronunciation. Written by a native Arabic speaker who helped start a year-round Arabic department at Middlebury College, Arabic For Dummies is just what you need to start making yourself understood in Arabic.

Note: CD-ROM/DVD and other supplementary materials are not included as part of eBook file.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Guide
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_pv_bnTSq9lo/SfyL6HSbePI/AAAAAAAAAUE/YW1cBDy99us/s320/64476.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331289889404844274" />

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Guide | 16 M
Tutorial eBook English | 701 pages | PDF

Adobe Creative Suite includes new online features that bring the power of the web to your desktop.
