US Airways 100% Bonus for buying Dividend Miles is back

The ever popular 100% Bonus on buying US Airways Dividend Miles is back. The offer runs from June 1st to 30th and has the same rules as last time that you have to have been a Dividend Miles member for at least 12 days, so be sure to sign up for Dividend Miles by June 17 if you are not a member yet. The promo allows you to buy up to 50,000 miles (so 100,000 in total with the bonus) at 3.5 cents per mile (effective rate is 1.75 cents per mile) plus taxes of $131.25 for total of $1881.25. Considering that can get you a business class ticket between North America and Europe or Asia that can cost a lot more this is a good deal! This offer is via Points.com again so you may have to register with them like the promo from earlier this spring (I will update this post tomorrow once all the details are out)

This is the highest I have seen the sign up bonus offer for the high end British Airways card in the U.K. in quite sometime. The normal sign up bonus is only 6,000 Avios and up until a few days ago you could have that tripled to 18,000. Aeroplan is going full tilt this spring with the bonus mileage promotions! From the Star Challenge to using multiple travel partners to buying a Maple Leaf Lounge membership, you pretty much name it and you can get bonus Aeroplan miles for it. The latest in their slew of offers is the return of their partner transfer bonus. Basically what it entails is transferring points out of other loyalty programs into your Aeroplan account. In the past the bonus was based on per transaction basis so the promotion wasn't as attractive as it is now since this time around it is cumulative across all participating partners. That is, you can transfer from partners like American Express (Canada only, unfortunately for our U.S. readers the U.S. Membership Rewards program has been excluded), Starwood, Hertz and more and as long as the total Aeroplan miles deposited from all of them reaches one of the bonus target levels you will be awarded the respective bonus miles. What is even better is that if you complete some of these transfers before May 28 they should also count as 'stars' for the Aeroplan Star Challenge. American Airlines continues to push out new bonus offers for their recently launched New York to Tokyo Haneda route although this time around it is a targeted offer. Priority Club has teamed up with American Express for this latest promotion awarding Priority Club points for stays at InterContinental Hotels and Resorts in the Americas. The offer also appears to award Gold Status but the T&C's don't state anything about it. (Gold Status is not hard to achieve with IHG nor is it worth that much but it is a nice little bonus anyways if you can't find another way to get Gold)
