Afghan women to live hungry if deny sex to husband

London: Reports from Afghanistan says that it has quietly enacted a new barbaric law empowering men of Shia community of Islam religion to deny their wives for food and nourishment if they refuse to obey orders of their husbands’ regarding demands for sexual intercourse, a media report cleared on Saturday.

The legislation grants guardianship of their children solely to child’s father and grandfather and needs women to get consent of their husbands for work outside, daily newspaper The Guardian reported.

“It also in actual fact allows a rapist to stay away from legal action by just paying ‘blood money’ to the victim girl who was wounded when she was raped,” the US charity Human Rights Watch said.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai came forward to back down, protesters said the amended law still contained brutal measures and challenged country’s constitution and international treaties those it has signed up so far.

According to the latest reports, the new legislation has been supported by the hardliner Shia cleric Mr. Ayatollah Mohseni, who is supposed to have power over the voting objectives of some Shias, who are around 20% of the total population of Afghanistan.

Swine Flu death toll 24 in India

India on Friday 14 August night reported its 24th death due to the horrible H1N1 virus with demise of 70-year-old lady, Parubai Shinde, died because of swine flu here in Pune raising the death toll in this city to 15.

Pune is the worst stroked in India by the swine flu illness, witnessed quiet “Dahi Handi” festivity on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday the “Janamasthami” along with so many public functions being cancelled first time in the history of Pune city.

70-year-old woman Parubai Shinde, resident of Ganesh Nagar in Yerawada (Pune), was admitted here in a hospital four days ago following the high fever and other swine flu symptoms died late tonight.

Another senior citizen woman Bharati Goyal, who was tormented from breathlessness and fever from last four days, was on ventilator at the time of death today was suspected of swine flu, hospital sources said.

An 18-year-old boy named Sitaram Varma collapsed in Raipur yesterday by suspected swine flu. It is the first such death in Chhattisgarh.

The boy, hailing from Bhilai was got of throat infection and pneumonia, hospital sources announced. Officer in-charge for swine flu cases in the Chhattisgarh State Mr. T. K. Agrawal said that boy’s throat swab had been sent to Delhi for the swine flu test since the boy recently came from Pune.

Besides these deaths in Pune, other cities Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Nashik, Chennai, Bangalore, Raipur and Thiruvananthapuram each witnessed one persons death due to this viral infection and two persons died in Mumbai.

Jennifer Aniston will sing in coming movie

Jinnifer Aniston the well known Hollywood celebrity is going to sing a song in her next movie. The movie is named as “The Goree Girls” based on real life in which some girls form a musical band in Texas while there imprisonment. It is a story of 1940’s real life incident.
She is even going to learn playing a guitar, said by Michael Sucsy , the director of this movie. He also told that she can sing well and going to do so soon.
According to the script of the movie these girls learned playing instruments and singing in there bad days while imprisonment. It’s not a natural phenomena that the girls know about several instruments and hence they come together to form a band. Rather it was a new venture for all of them in order to get out of jail. Means to overcome there bad situations they started learning music.
The new face of Jennifer in this movie as a singer might be proved as a good sign for the popularity of this movie. People are eager to watch her in a new role and listen to her voice.

The movie is released on 14^th august. It is directed by Neill Blomkamp and is a best film for its originality. It is so realistic that people will really appreciate the work done by Neill Blomkamp in this movie. He has put all his potential and skills in this movie. The trailers are enough to convince people for watching the movie. It is a scientific fiction movie and people will not forget the script ever, this is for sure. The premier was best in itself.

The story of the movie is all about a conflict between an alien and a man. The aliens get agony from the humans in some drastic ways. In an operation supervised by a man named Wikas, the aliens are captured from there ship and afterwards Wikas is strike by an alien serum and his DNA changed to such extent that he turns into an alien. This is something from what the story is all about. So isn’t it a peculiar concept? The movie has been successfully released and you can right away go to watch it.

Toyota Prius 2010 has already reached a record of selling 446 cars in first month. Its not even a month as Prius was launched on 20th July 2007.The aerodynamics and trade mark styling remains the same but the stylists hard work has updated the fascia and the sharper body gives the model a confident appearance.

Prius’s cockpit has always been a prominent features for years together and this model further says the story of its success and grandeur. It has the joystick-kind shifter which has been mounted to a center console that stretches from the dash board to the driver. Under console there is an open space for the storage.

Controls and instruments are arranged in logical groups and placed on the dash board in a digital way. It also has the touring package which is optional and adds to its melodramatic looks. It includes illuminated door sills, rear view camera, phone with Bluetooth and a wonderful JBL stereo with auto CD changer. Entry and exit both are very simple with enough storage facilities for small and important items. The rear seats can be folded flat to fit in larger things. Walter Givhan : reports on Afghan army corps

Now set with Russian-made assail helicopters — a remnant of their war-tattered history — the Afghan Army Air Corps will soon start using the force in their missions, was said by the U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Walter Givhan on Wednesday as he was reporting at the Pentagon during a half hour video conference from Kabul.

He further says, “This has been part of a very deliberate training regimen that we have created for them,” he adds, “We’ve taken them through an entire syllabus to include training on rules of engagement, and when they can shoot and when they can’t shoot, to get them ready for this.”

The Afghan pilots will have to abide by the rules introduced earlier which restrict U.S. troops from launching any air attack inorder to minimize civilians casualties … presently there are 2700 airman in Afghan Corps which according to Givhan will grow to 7,250 by 2016.

Officials call it a noticeable step for a unit which grew from naught a few years back…

Givhan added: “The roles that they initially take on will not be full-fledged close air support-type roles, but will be a little bit simpler. That will take an account of missions like fighter escorts and shooting in self-protection as the Afghan pilots maintain to train for full attack operations missions.

kourtney kardashian pregnant: what’s the truth?

May be its a publicity stunt for the new reality show “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” with Ryan Seacrest as the producer, but the news is that Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant.
This news was a follow up of a blog by Kendra Wilkinson on wednesday afternoon saying she and her husband are having a baby boy.
The news about Kourtney Kardashian being pregnant arrived from E! and she has personally confirmed this.
She said while in Everglades, she was not feeling well and missed periods, so took test herself.
Not convinced for some 20th time, she went to the doctor who told her that her pregnancy test were not wrong.
Of course no other information about this pregnancy is being disclosed by Kourtney
and she is quite enough not to tell the name of father as well.

Anyway, this American reality series will not have Kim Kardashian in the lead but there may be guest appearances by the entire family.
It revolves around the lives of Kourtney and Khloe who plan to go to Florida and open a Dash store there.
The shooting for this show is being done in Miami at the Bentley Beach Hotel.
Both Khloe and Kourtney are living at same hotel as they have yet to decide about permanent housing place. This show will be aired this sunday.

SWINE FLU: Be alarmed not scared …

As the name suggests swine flu(swine influenza) is the flu of the pigs. It is a respiratory disease which is highly contagious. Approximately 1% to 4% of infected pigs die from this influenza. It spreads by direct and indirect contact, aerosols … across the world in many places pigs are vaccinated against it. Most commonly it is of H1N1 influenza type but it can also come from other types as H1N2, H3N1 and H3N2. but the current outbreak is of H1N1 type which is not as dangerous as the others are.

The symptoms of this flu are quite similar to other regular flu ; body aches, cough, headache, chills, fever, sore throat, tiredness and at times diarrhea and vomiting which is less common. Its symptoms are common therefore people don’t understand initially. People catch this flu either directly from the infected pigs or from the infected people. The treatment is available but if it is diagnosed in preliminary stages, the vaccine is not yet available but likely to come in the market by September says WHO

This flu is in the air so its advisable to restrict going out, unless its necessary, cover your mouth while coughing, sneezing.. Wash your hands and face as frequently as you can, take sound sleep, do lot of exercises, drink plenty of water and have a balanced diet

Criss Angel Alive or no

Well, to answer the hottest question being asked on search engines, Whether Criss Angel is dead, let us simply say no! He is alive and continuing with his show Mindfreak. It was 24^th September 2008 when he tried to do a stunt as he was chained steering of a car with explosives in it. And what everyone saw was car tumbling down the cliff like a glass and burst into flames and smoke. Everyone along with Angel’s friend Kurt Angle felt that something went terribly wrong and that Angel has not survived the stunt. Standing about 20 feet away, Kurt was petrified to see what was happening. And when he came to know that Angel is perfectly fine, He really felt like knocking him out for what he did.

Anyhow Angel is still alive and performing as usual mind boggling stunts on his show Mindfreak. And if someone still doesn’t believe that he survived that car accident, then here is a piece of news that can make you sure of him being alive. He started dating Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend in Nov 2008 (that’s for sure after that stunt!) and in Feb 2009, the relationship came to an end.

And just to add, catch him on 12^th Aug midnight at Luxor’s casino where he will be hosting a party for premiere of Mindfreak season 5 and opening of Liquidity bar, his hangout. But ensure that you are 21 or above to be at that party. Enjoy!
