You are welcome.........

Alan

The site was not working well this morning when I tried to post this. Sorry i am late answering.

A Screen Shot is easy to do. ANYTHING you can view on your computer can be copied and saved. What you are viewing at the time you hit the button “Print Scr” is what you get. You need to dress it up a little using the program “Paint”. You know like trim the edges so to speak.

While you are looking at the screen, hit Print Scr, on your keyboard it is in the top row to the right of F12.

Then open “Paint” or “Word”, go to Edit menu, go to Paste and LEFT CLICK.

You got it!

Go to File and Save As.. a JPEG File, but remember where you saved it.

Chet, thanks for finding that link and those photos, very interesting. I have the larger/wider Givi windshield which has extended coverage for hands but they are not as tight and as protective as the ones directly on each handlbar.

Anybody know where those legs wings (as shown in the photos) can be found for a 650 as well?

thanks,

Hi again Celine. If you or a friend are handy the installation process is easy. I installed the back rest on my 650 myself. The one thing I strongly suggest you do if you decide to do it yourself is to use a step drill bit to drill the holes in the body panel. A regular drill bit the size you need doesn't work well at all on plastic. The holes will have an irregular shape and may be seen when the backrest is in place. I think I paid around $14. for the step drill bit at Harbor Freight. I didn't mind that investment as I'll use it on other projects. The hole locations are already marked on the bottom of the panel from the factory so there's no getting that wrong. If you search this forum and BurgmanU.S.A. I'm sure you can find instructions and pictures on how to remove the tupperware. It's something to think about.

                                                      Ralph

Thanks for that, Chet. Thats exactly what " Luke " was after.

There was another photo, as well, in the group, showing the guard.

But, how exactly, do you take a screen shot ? I'd really like to know, for future reference. And, are there any other ways of sending on photo's ?

Hey, "cool hand Luke" ?

The post, is a series of rolling photo's,( which, incidently, you can stop, by putting your cursor in the area, of bottom right, of any of the photo's, and three symbols [r/wind, stop & f/fwd.] will appear.) I've got them, but I haven't got a clue as to how I can pass them on to anybody !

When I'm on the page, the command line at the top, is as follows....

http://s864.photobucket.com/al.....e96c90.pbw

So give it a try. I hope it gets you to the page. And again, let us know if it works ok.... All the Best !...Alan.T...(10.50 pm. Tues. 10th. Nov.)

Mr. Breeze said:

Hi Celine.

You can Keep watching in the Burgman Accessories section under “Importanat Sections Of This Site” in the colum to the right on this page. I recommend you buy a new one to be sure you got the correct mounting hardware, trim and mounting instructions if you are able to purchase it cheaper there than you can get it from your local dealer. My guess would be $50. or so to have it installed by a professional.

Ralph

Hi Ralph, thanks for the advice. Actually I found some sites selling the back-rest but I am concerned about installing it. As you said, going for a new one would be a wise decision so that it would have instructions. So far, I found some new ones starting from $80 U.S. I am gonna keep looking. Meanwhile, I am open to other suggestions.

I've done a bit of delving on that post by "YBBOR" (thats ROBBY, backwards, of course) that I told you about. And it was called " Burgman's in my stable ". I've also found out that the Hand Guards, he fitted to his 650, were in fact, from (or for) a Suzuki V-Strom, as you mentioned. So you can take it from there. Let us know how you get on! ( 2.55 pm Tues. 10th.
