First of all, I would like to thank Oris Watches for the sponsoring myself, Rachel Ting and Adeline Ng to compete at the Larut Hill 2009 4×4 Challenge. This is the 3rd year of the race and we are the only ladies team for this year’s event. I knew from Wilson that Oris Watches had been sponsoring the 4×4 race 2 years consecutively. However we never got the chance to be part of it except that Wilson was there to record the event. So when ...

I have been wanting to visit Singapore's wet market but wasn't able to do so until recently. It's either I don't have the time or I couldn't wake up :P Come on...where would you choose to go if you only have a few days time in Singapore? Ochard Road or wet market flocked with aunties?

Aunt and I decided to have some breakfast before making our way to the wet market section which is just next door.

Something we were very aware of was the Sunday crowd. Lots of people, lots of car and lots of stalls with long queues!

發記 is a stall selling fish ball noodles with a variety of noodles like mee poh(flat noodles), mee kia (yellow noodles), koay teow and bee hun. The uncle was very fast in whipping up super hot bowls of fish ball noodle soup.

Finally he prepared mine. By the way, its all self service here.

This bowl of regular Koay Teow Tng was priced at SGD3. I would say the pricing is similar to KL. The slightly higher pricing is quite reasonable because you can practically share this...
24, Jalan Angsana Satu, Brinchang Point,39100, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia.

Website: http://www.strawberrymoment.com/
During the recent get away to Cameron Highlands, we spent a lovely afternoon at Strawberry Moment for a tea break. Enjoying the afternoon tea under the cool weather was kind of relaxing. It was non-peak season and the place was not crowded. Just perfect for a quiet afternoon tea!

Strawberry Strudel RM6.90/slice
How could we resist to order this photogenic strawberry strudel? The pastry was nice, just that the strawberries were similar to the ones that we had, sour and bland :P

Mango Cheese Cake
This mango cheesecake is oozing with delicious mango in a saucy, sweet topping. The strawberry and mouse compliments the creamy cheesecake. The base beneath is a thin layer of sponge cake. Ah...forget about the calories intake. I just love it!

We ordered a cup of strawberry tea and strawberry flavored white coffee....

Just a quick one to showcase my personal Hall of Shame over the weekend in my lovely hometown Penang - after copious amount of alcohol with some lovely folks, we proceeded to do what inebriated souls do best apart from drunk-dialling/texting/tweeting and emotional outbursts... eating!!

We headed to Green House ("Cheh Chu"), perennial favourite supper stop along Burmah Road. I don't recall having been back here since C&C Music Factory was the biggest act on the charts ("Everybodddy Dance Now!")! Mei Shean, having just consumed pasta at watering hole earlier, ordered an extra-lite serving of beancurd, shrooms and pork balls from Beng Kee Bak Kut Teh. She struggled, understandably, and my barmy appetite, released inevitably by Penang, dove in to lend a helping hand.

My Hokkien Mee from the stately stall parked on the shopfront arrived with my slurred orders to add fishballs (fishballs?? I don't even LIKE fishballs) and pork ribs! Fiery, porky and powerful! I was wide awake once...
