Here's another goofy twist on the story:

I'm a Power User with a 1.21 ratio. (I've never donated, BTW.) At the moment, I can't download anything unless I click "Thank You" on the detail page. Apparently they track your thank you's over there. Unfortunately, it's because I rarely look at the detail page and, besides, I'm not really interested in leaving a large footprint in their community. Anyway, now I can't download anything unless I click "Thank You".

We are sorry for this inconvenience but we have been spammed with signup requests and the email server was blown away, so we had to stop the signups for a little time. Also a "resend validation email form" was created in order to resolve this issue.
