Last Friday I headed up to London for the L.E.D Festival to see the likes of Pro Green, Aphex Twin, Annie Mac, David Guetta, Soulwax, Calvin Harris, Leftfield, Goldfrapp etc etc. Personal highlights for me were Sub Focus and Shy FX who dropped some absolute bangers, and my mate hit the nail on the head when comparing David Guetta’s set to Avatar “Sick effects but a naff storyline”. He had some ridiculous lazer, firework and smoke show but the music was something you’d here on a Tuesday night down in Bournemouth. Sunday night we were understandably feeling a bit worse for wear but decided last minute that it would be worth going to Vauxhall to see Hazard, Taxman, Heist, Dirtyphonics, Friction, Original Sin and others who were all playing at Innovation @ Fire. It was a sick night but attracted a bit of a dirty crowd which was evident when I got robbed on the dance floor of my camera by some fucking scum. So livid, all the irreplaceable jokes photos and videos from the weekend, gone. Notting Hill Carnival was definitely off the cards on Monday with the way we were feeling so we proceeded to gorge ourselves on a couple of hot BBQ Chickens from Tesco and head back down the A3 towards normal life. Since all the content I was gonna post has now been sold to someone for fifty quid, here’s Nike SB in Berlin:

Dobbo, Smither, Coatman & everyone else also headed into central London last week to bear witness to the new Emerica video, ‘Stay Gold’, which was apparently on another level. All I can do though is listen & imagine.

Skegness edit unfortunately won’t be up until next week as I’m heading to London tomorrow and won’t be back until Tuesday, and I haven’t captured a quarter of the footage yet. Good things come to those who wait! In the mean time, here’s some old school Etnies footage:

To anyone that’s reading this from outside the UK, we’re currently in day 8 of this unprecedented heat wave and it’s looking like this August bank holiday is going to go down in history. Reading starts today for some and that hard dry cracking ground looks unforgiving for those who have bad backs, and the hose pipe ban is what’s gonna spark the riots this year I reckon. As for me, I’m off to London for the long weekend for this:

In the mean time, Skegness tomorrow. Smither’s driving (god help us) as my car is stuck on Hailing Island with a clutch pedal that’s floppier than Smither’s penis. There are doubts as to whether his car is even gonna stay alive to see us there and back – it’s also a 15 year old 306 but it cost half the price as mine, and I paid £300, so you can see where this is heading…

I’m looking forward to more banter like this though:
