As you guys know, Google launched Google Drive yesterday. Unfortunately, it is not available for everyone. It is being implemented in a phased manner. Watch this space for how to get Google Drive on your account. There should be some way to trick Google’s systems and claim Google Drive.

The three credit processors stopped processing WikiLeak’s donations, a Whistle-Blowing website out of fear of legal recourse.

GPL & WP7 on Windows MarketPlace

Can I use a GPLed component in my WP7 application & showcase it at Windows MarketPlace? Hell yes!

Many feel that according to EULA of Windows MarketPlace one cannot use GPLed component in a WP7 application. Wrong! I just went through the Windows Marketplace Application Provider Agreement [http://create.msdn.com/downloads/?id=638]. I find that GPL is under an “Excluded License” section [Section 1.l]. Further, it states that if an application is a derivative of product under “Excluded License” then it is subject to the terms of “Excluded License” [Section 5.e]. This is just to make sure that the application developers should conform to the terms of “Excluded License” & Microsoft is not held responsible for those terms. I’m not a lawyer but according to the available resources I can infer that one shouldn’t have any problem using GPLed product in showcasing an application at Windows Marketplace.

Let me know if there is a different school of thought.

Less did I know that committing suicide was cool. Its on rampage. The last post was on seppukoo. It was just to commit suicide on facebook. Check this out, suicidemachine.org.
