What I was going for with this new illustration is a classic science fiction scenario. A fight to the end mission themed around a female space explorer. As she battles the alien worms her crew is coming in for a rescue, picking up on her distress signal. I've done a few space scenes before but this time I wanted to combine a space scene with sci-fi action adventure. This was all painted in Photoshop cs6. Thanks!
