'File Attachments' have now been completed. Thank you for your patience.

1. Added the ability to have 'File Attachments'. You can now Add / View / Remove and Save all file attachments that have been allocated to a fault log.

2. The heading text in the 'Additional Information' box (only shown once additional information has been added to a fault log) has been darkened slighty.

Beta Version 1.06 Released

Just to keep you all in the loop. On 21st June 2009 I released Beta version 1.06 which has corrected some minor issues with the site.

1. Fault Logger was randomly signing out users. This was caused by asp.net frequently recycling the application domain and in-turn flushing out all of the session state variables. This was fixed by changing the in-proc session state mode to the mode of StateServer. We are now finally free from the random flushing of session variables when ever the servers memory reaches a certain limit.

2. Fixed a bug when users added 'Additional Information' to certain fault logs. An error occurred stating that it was in an incorrect format. This has now been resolved.

Honestly File Attatchments coming soon as promised. I have been so busy lately. Thank you for being patient :)

Beta Version 1.05 Released

On 18th June 2009 I released Beta version 1.05 which has some small improvements to the site.

1. Added 'Grid Rows Displayed' slider to the Profile Screen. This changes the amount of rows that are displayed in all grids across the entire system.

2. Added a Custom 'General Error' Page to Fault Logger. This stops the stack trace being shown in the even of an error.

3. Added a Custom 'Page Not Found' to Fault Logger. This is more user friendly.

4. Some Timezones were causing errors when used in conjuction with 'Day Light Saving Time'. This has now been resolved.

Beta Version 1.04 Released

On 18th May 2009 I released Beta version 1.04 which has some small improvements to the site.

1. Added 'Daylight Saving' Option to Profile Screen. Adds / Subtracts One Hour to Your 'Profiles' Timezone.

2. Added 'Blog' Page to Main Site

3. New Faults Were Causing an Error 'FL636'. This Bug was Accidently Introduced in Beta v1.03 and has now been resolved.

Going to hopefully be working on fault file attachments during the next few weeks.

Dedicated Server

Beta Version 1.03 Released

On 20th April 2009 I released Beta version 1.03 which has some small improvements to the site.

1. I have added a new feature to the users 'Profile' screen called 'Closed Email Notifications' so when this is checked and saved will send an email to the person that reported the fault once the fault has been closed.

2. Automatically populates the Date/Time of a 'New Fault'

3. Automatically populates the 'Reported By' name as the currently signed-in user

4. Fault Logger now allows single quotes to be entered in all data entry fields. With exception to the obvious ones like email address and phone number etc...

5. On closing a fault the 'Closed By' name is now automatically defaulted to the currently signed-in user

6. On closing a fault the 'Date/Time Closed' is automatically defaulted to the current date/time

7. I added an FAQ page to main part of the site

Well more changes on the way soon so stay tuned.
