Palm, Inc. (PALM). This is a nice example of a gap up followed by a pull back then it holds green before consolidating and moving up slowly followed by huge volume and a real nice pop.

ABK is also up after hours.
I guess I'm going to do posts on both sites due to the fact that I can't stand wordpress at the moment, once I better figure it out I'll post everything there.

Heres a couple nice after hours moves.

Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MIPI) huge move after hours.

Keryx Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (KERX) nice 52 week move all day long on good volume. Was up slightly after hours as well.

For those that like to hold Pharma's and bio's overnight (I personally don't) congrats on MIPI sometimes they will work out sometimes they wont.

Stock watch list Friday April 9

Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) was up huge after hours on positive earnings that were much much better than in the same period the prior year.

Eastman Kodak Co. (EK) has been on my watch lists multiple times in the past year due to its nice patterns/moves. Broke out to new 52 week highs on nice volume. I'll be watching this at the $7.70-$7.75 area to see if it will breakout or breakdown.

Avanir Pharmaceuticals (AVNR) had a nice day today closing just under $3. Volume has been increasing the past 3 days so I'll be watching this tomorrow to see if it fails/crosses $3

Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD) real nice move today on it's biggest volume in a year breaking over areas of previous resistance. Resistance above on the daily chart from $12.75 to its 52 week highs of $12.86

MGM Mirage (MGM) had a really nice daily chart setup and it broke over that $14 area and then hit $15.06 (52 wk highs) before pulling back at the end of day.

Joe's Jeans Inc. (JOEZ) gradually rose during market hours, but after hours was hit pretty hard on earnings. Most likely will be in play both ways tomorrow in my opinion.

Pier 1 Imports Inc. (PIR) broke out to 52 week highs and had a big run on big volume. Closed at hod's. Will be watching this on r2g or g2r.

US Energy Corp. (USEG) had a real nice move today on nice relative volume. Closing just over $7. I'll be watching to see if this can hold that area. 52 week highs are $7.30

Central Pacific Financial Corp. (CPF) and Pacific Capital Bancorp (PCBC) were a couple of the regional banks that had nice days as well.

There's so many things on watch for tomorrow but I wanted to try to narrow it down. Lot's of nice setups out there. Be sure to check here this weekend as I have an announcement to make!

An Amercian Hedge Fund

Thanks to the very cool site investimonials a site that reviews everything to do with finance, I cashed in some of my ivBucks and got An American Hedge Fund by Timothy Sykes. As many people as I have recommended to Tim's site and products, I have not read his book. I think I will start reading it tonight and I will let you know my opinion on it later on. I probably should have read it years ago as my opinion would be more fair, but as most you know I'm very fair so I will rate it how I read it at this moment in time.

Watch list Thursday April 8

First Bancorp (FBP) broke over $3 and took out yesterdays highs and then had a big run to close at hods on the highest volume in a year. I'll be watching this on r2g.

Pacific Capital Bancorp (PCBC) another regional bank with a nice move. If you look at the daily this things been lit up so it could have room to run.

The McClatchy Company (MNI) broke over most of its prior resistance today and has had some big runs in the past. I would have liked the volume to be a little heavier, but nonetheless it will still be on my watch.

Stock watch list Wednesday April 7

FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. (FCH) This is a former runner that broke to 52 week highs on its largest volume in a year. Big up moves and small pullbacks until the later part of the day where it made a nice short.

Joe's Jeans Inc. (JOEZ) once again had a nice day while it continued to make new 52 week highs. Had a nice little run out the gate on big volume before pulling back and holding the $3 level and closing near its hod.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (LNG) from my watch a few days ago once again had another outstanding day. It dropped below $4 just for a few minutes before rocketing up to the $4.80 level which is the area I'll be watching tomorrow for a possible $5 test. $4.60 area was a spot of support today.

Phoenix Companies Inc. (PNX) I'll be watching this on r2g as well as a break of yesterday's highs ($2.96)Quite a bit of resistance at that $3 level though

Zanett Inc. (ZANE) had another monster day. Once again with a tall wick/shadow in around the same area. Huge out the gate then a great short. Held the $3 level nicely and had a nice run after that.

Maguire Properties Inc. (MPG) once again had a nice day. Will be watching this around $3.70-$3.75 for a possible break through yesterdays highs and a possible test of its 52 week highs at $3.98

The results are back: CANCER FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's hard to concentrate on stocks when you are nervous or focused on something else that is so much more important. So that's that, I figured I would give you all an update and thanks a ton to my very close friends/stock trading buddies for their support.

Stock watch list Monday April 5

Flotek Industries Inc. (FTK) Nice move on big volume. Will watch and see if this holds $1.60. 200dma is at $1.65 Resistance in the $1.80 area

Pier 1 Imports Inc. (PIR) First green day in 7 days on higher than average volume. Was unable to hold $7 level but I'll be watching for a possible $7 cross tomorrow.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (LNG) had a real good trading range Thursday on by far it's highest volume of the year. Broke over that $3.45 which had been an area of resistance for the past month.

Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) had another big day on almost the same volume as the day before. Closed near hod's too.

Avanir Pharmaceuticals (AVNR) broke $2.50 and closed strong on nice volume.

Quiksilver Inc. (ZQK) is one of my favorite patterns on the daily chart. Breaking 52 week highs at an even number ($5) then pulling back to that area, then consolidating before ramping on nice volume. That is a pattern that typically will offer better r/r.
