The Black Doll Affair is a philanthropist organization to empowers black women, from young to old on building high-esteem for themselves. The goal for The Black Dolls is change the negative perception of ourselves (as women of color) and exemplify beauty at it’s highest level.

Macy’s Atlanta, sponsored a fabulous fashion show with Macy’s Fashions showcasing beautiful women of color. I absoultely loved the fashion that I saw in the show. I could have BOUGHT EVERYTHING. I loved the styling for the Fashion Show because the items were on trend and also had a great price point. Everything was provided by Macy’s. These were my personal fav fashions from the show.

I had the pleasure of attending this fabulous event. The In-Store Stylist, Dave gave us a fabulous presentation of the most current spring and summer trends for this season. Neiman Marcus is the department store that sets the tone for Upcoming and Exclusive Trends in the Retail Industry.

CUSP is the moderately affordable collection by Neiman Marcus. It showcases lines from with price points ranging from the early 100′s to around mid 400′s. This is a great way to still attain your fashions from Neiman’s at a great price. I, honestly think that retailers are seeing that these days, We need more bang for our buck. (Never have I shopped at Neiman’s but for someone that wants to get a little extra frisky with their budget. PLEASE VISIT CUSP.)

David, gave a fabulous presentation of EFFORTLESS CHIC. How to look stylish without a lot of effort. Having a wardrobe with several Grab-N-Go items makes getting dressed a simple task. Above is my favorite looks. The pop of fuschia in the dress and the snakeskin clutch, screams GIRL’S Night Out. 2 Fashion Tips that you will need to keep in mind for the upcoming Fall Season 2012:

  • Keep/Buy Every Hue of Green. That is the Color for this upcoming season
  • Say Goodbye to your sky high heels. MEOW, the kitten is making it’s come back. (I am interested to see this trend because kittens heel can sometimes come off a little too mature for my liking. But we shall see.)
