نمایش خراب زیر نویس فیلم changing encoding of text file

اگر زیر نویس فیلمتون اجق‌وجق نشون داده میشه اشکال از encoding فایلتون هست که باید رفع بشه برای این کار به روش زیر عمل کنید:

فایل را به html تغییر پسوند بده. و با فایرفاکس بازش کن. بعد آنقدر character encoding را از منوی view عوض کن تا فایلت درست نشون داده بشه. این encoding را یادداشت کن. معمولا WINDOWS-1256 است.
فایل را به srt تغییر پسوند بده.
حالا از توی ترمینال (داخل شاخه فایلت) این فرمان را بزن:
iconv -f WINDOWS-1256 -t utf-8 your_file.srt > output_file.srt
که بجای WINDOWS-1256 همون اِنکودینگی که از قبل یادداشت کرده بودی را بنویس.
از output_file.srt استفاده کنید و لذت فیلم را ببرید

Install Java JRE of your computer and after that run this commands:

USB problem in VirtualBox

مدتی بود از VirtualBox استفاده میکنم. ولی چند وقتی بود که USB از کار افتاده بود. تا فهمیدم مشکل از نداشتن Permission واسه کار با USB بود.

برای رفع مشکل:

If USB is not working on your Linux host, make sure that the current user has permission to access the USB filesystem (usbfs), which VirtualBox relies on to retrieve valid information about your host’s USB devices.
The permissions for usbfs can be changed by editing the /etc/fstab file.
For example, most Linux distributions have a user group called usb or similar, of which the current user must be a member.
Create group named “usbfs” and add yourself to the group.
To give all users of that group access to usbfs, make sure the following line is present:
# 85 is the USB group
none /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=85,devmode=664 0 0
Replace 85 with the group ID that matches your system (search /etc/group for “usb” or similar).
Alternatively, if you don’t mind the security hole, give all users access to USB by changing “664” to “666”.
Restart System.
