Excusas y motivos me sobran, tiempo de descanso, saturación, reflexión, desidia, introspección, pereza… Ya basta !!! hoy me apetece, sin más.<br /> <br /> El grupo del que os voy a hablar también lleva desde el 2015 sin sacar nada nuevo y repasando el blog he visto que nunca los he referenciado, recuerdo exactamente el porqué (que no viene a cuento) y creo que tengo una cuenta pendiente que hoy voy a saldar.<br /> <br /> CocoRosie es un grupo franco-estadounidense de acid folk formado en el año 2003. Se trata de un dúo formado por las hermanas Bianca y Sierra Casady, que produce música mezclando estilos tan variados como son el canto lírico, gospel y pop lo-fi, por lo menos esto dice la wikipedia de ellas.<br /> <br /> Especial, mágica, extraña, inquietante, difícil y arriesgada son adjetivos que definen su música.<br /> <br /> Colaboraciones de artistas como Devendra Banhart o Anthony Hegarty también nos pueden dar una idea de lo que nos podemos encontrar en su discografía. <br /> <br /> Os dejo un par de videos. También encontramos una clara influencia de Trentemøller en los rifts de guitarra y en los sonidos eléctricos (no electrónicos) como de corriente alterna. En la parte de viento del final de la canción, podemos encontrar parecido a los trabajos de The Cinematic Orchestra. Y para acabar, el mas loco parecido que me ha parecido encontrar, está en la melodía de las cuerdas que me recuerda muchísimo al "estribillo" de la canción Caruso.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> En definitiva una "mezcolanza" de géneros, estilos y sobretodo artistas altamente recomendables. Expertos en jugar con percusiones curiosas, en canciones que siguen un patrón repetitivo y en progresión de entrada de instrumentos típico de la música electrónica (tal como si fuera un enorme secuenciador humano), también utilizan instrumentos clásicos como el piano, violín, arpa, etc que le dan un toque orquestral y además tiene un fondo de Jazz con el uso de instrumentos de viento.
