040 - 10/23/09 Friday Night Gaming - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

Glen's most anticipated game is the focus of this episode live from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on the PS3! We coach our gamers through the singleplayer portion, finding hidden treasures that you might have missed. We also play some multiplayer and get shot repeatedly due to our live audience not understanding that they're playing the ultimate screen peak (others are watching the feed to see where they are) so they can't camp and snipe effectively. Good times!

In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we replace an analog stick in an N64 controller as well as replace pads in a SNES controller.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/SI3fxYz7qxY" height="1" width="1"/>

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

In this episode filled with technical glitches from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, we play Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Xbox 360 both locally (with some gamers of questionable skill) and on Xbox Live with much better players. During this time, we also discuss how much Bobby loves Scribblenauts.

In a very quick hardware segment, we show the secret of removing permanent marker off of those NES cartridges that you put your name on as a kid.

We will not be on the air on September 25th as we will be in Augusta, GA for Video Games Live. On October 2-4, we will tentatively be broadcasting from the Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo in Atlanta.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/I1fME71x-4g" height="1" width="1"/>

035 - 09/11/09 Friday Night Gaming - Darkest of Days, PAX Recap

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

We are back from the Penny Arcade Expo - some of us got here sooner than others. If you have a buddy who works at Delta, do NOT accept his Buddy Pass...It's not worth it!

We try out Darkest of Days on the Xbox 360 - a time traveling FPS from new publisher Phantom EFX that is also available on the PC. The company that makes the game is very enthusiastic, however that did not deter our live and chat room audience from voicing their opinions on the game.

We also go through our PAX swag, trade stories about wild parties put on by space MMO developers, and discuss our least favorite peripherals per caller suggestions.

At the end, we briefly mention Bobby's trip to Dragon*con and show the coolest Thriller practice video ever.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/o5ijTr37OKo" height="1" width="1"/>

034 - 08/28/09 Friday Night Gaming - Batman: Arkham Asylum, PS3 Slim Disassembly

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

It's an asylum at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA, and we're bringing in the Batman. Batman: Arkham Asylum is the game for the PS3 and we play both the main campaign and the Joker challenge levels.

But the big news is the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight - we got our hands on a brand new PS3 Slim and completely disassemble it, and then put it back together. Does it work when we're done with it?

There is no live show on September 4th as we will be at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle. See you on the 11th!<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/W3HMySug4zs" height="1" width="1"/>

Joe: The Rise of Cobra on the Xbox 360, as we take the game for a co-op spin.

In the CC Gaming Hardware Segment, we show you how to get into the PS3 diagnostic menu and fix a lot of the software-based problems you may be having with your PS3.

We also give away Nintendo candies to callers and talk about movie games. And thunderstorms. And wanting to date Felicia Day's avatar.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/_b30sUHJc6s" height="1" width="1"/>

Then we play Fat Princess for the PS3 online with our PS3 pals...Warning, we don't know how to play the game, so there's a lot of coaching going on.

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

The King of Fighters XII on the PS3 is the game of choice at CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA. We play offline (more of you need to come online for our PS3 weeks!) and take a look at the newest 2D Fighter from SNK. We also take a look at the newest CC Gaming employee, Amanduh.

We also take a look at the NXE preview on Xbox Live and some of the new features...Including a technical difficulty on our part. But it gets fixed without stopping the show...much.

In an impromptu CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we clean a Genesis cartridge with a nail file.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/S-p1AVZze8Y" height="1" width="1"/>

We take a look at the "Power Games" console - a Chinese Famiclone that looks like a penguin, complete with pirated games that are mislabled or hacked. It's a sight to behold!

Then we look at a real game on the Xbox 360 - Red Faction: Guerrilla. We play some singleplayer and then head onto Xbox Live near the end of the show.

During the CC Gaming Hardware Segment, we do some free repair work for Bobby and take apart an Xbox 360 hard drive to swap out sizes.

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

Live from the Computer ArenA in Roswell, GA, Glen and Bobby are fresh off of their trip to E3 2009 in Los Angeles. We wrap up what we thought of the show, as well as premiere an interview about Split Second from E3Coverage.com, and profess our undying love to Scribblenauts.

We show the new motion controls from Microsoft and Sony and give our opinion on them and ask if a controller with buttons is really a hinderance. We discuss the new offerings from Nintendo and ask if they have lost touch with their audience.

We then show off some swag from the show floor and give some away to our live audience while playing the demo for Overlord II on Xbox 360. Then, we show Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP with some Freezepop lovin. (Probably not the best thing to listen to on the audio podcast - sorry!)

This isn't a normal show - we'll be back to playing full games next week!<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/fPLBYvQFF00" height="1" width="1"/>

018 - 05/08/09 Friday Night Gaming - Kansas University Drumline, X-Men Origins: Wolverine

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

We start off the show mixing Bobby Blackwolf's two favorite things - video game music and drumlines. Bobby calls up old friend Greg Haynes, lead instructor of the Kansas University Winter Drumline, who just made blog waves by doing a 10 minute drumline show all about Mega Man 2. We ask Greg about his inspiration, what the hell the guy was doing in front of the line, and if he has any Rock Band tips.

Then, we pull out X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition) for the Xbox 360 and give it a bloody decapitating spin. Glen deflects calls about why he never answers his email. We finish off by comparing it with the Genesis version of X-Men, as played on an FC3.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/FsaJDH5viWE" height="1" width="1"/>

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

In this lightning filled episode, Xenocore from The Ultimate Quest joins us to play Demigod while we interview Mike Marr, Lead Designer at Gas Powered Games. Listen as Xenocore dies...repeatedly!

On the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we show another Xbox 360 repaired by another company - 360-pros.com - that used food and drink coupons as heat sinks...We're not kidding!

Then we try to play a few games of Bionic Commando (the multiplayer demo) with our listeners, but the lack of a friends only lobby option kills that.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/-BVrkP57pEE" height="1" width="1"/>

016 - 04/24/09 Friday Night Gaming - Final Fantasy XIII Demo, Excitebots: Trick Racing

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

This week, we provide a live translation of (most of) the recently released Japanese Final Fantasy XIII demo for the PS3. We also discuss some of the backstory of Final Fantasy games in general, including no less than three mentions of Mystic Quest. Sadly, our PROTIPS were not listened to by our live audience playing the game, hence why we say "most of" the demo is translated...

Then, in the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, take a Nintendo DS Lite that isn't powering on and repair it live on the air with just a multimeter and a soldering iron.

And then we open up Excitebots: Trick Racing for the Wii, learn that we can't play Multiplayer out of the box, but unlock the mode anyway and have some local races.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/aXA68NoeRN0" height="1" width="1"/>

010 - 03/13/09 Friday Night Gaming - Peggle (Yes, Really.)

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

We really wanted to play Resident Evil 5, but because it released that day, we had a problem getting our hands on it. We also couldn't get a hold of Madworld on short notice, so on Friday Night Gaming the 13th we played...PEGGLE. Yes, Popcap's lovable rainbow-filled unicorn-featuring casual game was just released on Xbox Live Arcade and we hook a few local players at the Computer ArenA in Roswell, GA on it, as well as playing in Peg Parties with our listeners.

We also take calls about a viewer in a national Street Fighter IV tournament, reminiscing about old TV commercials, and online tournament running.

In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we fix a "Blinking NES" with just three household objects, one of which we fix quite by accident and have to get a second one to do the real fix that we intended.

Be sure to check out the video archive at FNGLive.net!<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/6-llmfk7e6Q" height="1" width="1"/>

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

Opening song "Stupid Head" by VideoGameOutsiders.com.

This week, we play Halo Wars both offline and online on the Xbox 360. Other topics include how to turn our video archives (which are available immediately after the live show, unlike this audio podcast) into your own video podcast, how to install the Xbox 360 Jewels that go on the power button, and iPhone/iPod Touch gaming.

In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we take apart a PS2 Guitar Hero controller and fix it's whammy bar, as well as showing how to fix the buttons and the strum bar. We also show what ordinary household item lies within each and every guitar!<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/YYJk93ewVXM" height="1" width="1"/>

The game of the week is Killzone 2 for the Playstation 3 - our Killzone 1 fanboy plays it with our online audience all night and even makes a stunning vow concerning his Xbox 360 and current collection at the end of the show! In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight, we take apart a PlayStation 2 that has a Disc Read Error and fix it. Our callers discussed fighting games like Street Fighter IV and Killer Instinct, and about why FNG isn't a video podcast (and how much money it might cost to make it one!)<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/Xq8-GjxF90Q" height="1" width="1"/>

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

This week we're Street Fighter IV'ing it up playing the game on the PS3 both at our location at the Computer ArenA in Roswell, Georgia and online. <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

This week on Friday Night Gaming The 13th, we ask: what games SCARE you? We play Left 4 Dead on Xbox Live with our audience and take our audience's calls on scary games while wondering nobody puts up Youtube videos of the Genesis game Chakan: The Forever Man without them talking over it. (Who talks over live gameplay video, anyway?) We also take a look at the God Of War III trailer. For the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight segment, we take apart a PSP and replace its video screen. We also take some generic hardware tips based on our live callers.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/PNst8WoKaK4" height="1" width="1"/>

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

In this episode, two experienced builders in LittleBigPlanet create a level from scratch in three hours. This level is currently available to play and compete in under the PSN ID "FNGaming" and is called "Friday Night Gaming Level #1" because we are very original. Check out FNGLive.net/LBP for information about our contest! We also discuss the closure of Gamerscore Blog along with the news of the layoffs of all of it's members, and welcome Tedakin from the All Games Radio community to talk to us about how much he didn't see at CES. We also meet "Ted from the Past", a 13 year old who plays Gears of War 2 even though his mother doesn't want him to. Our CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight is on the PS3 and the differences between the old models and the new models, and we actually show the PS2's Emotion Engine. We take several calls about many things, including CD-I porn...It's our first full episode since we started, and one you won't want to miss! Check out portions of the video archive at FNGLive.net and our Ustream channel.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/DwhTx6pRI1k" height="1" width="1"/>

001 - 01/09/09 Friday Night Gaming - The First Show!

 <itunes:author>Bobby Blackwolf Studios</itunes:author>

The first episode of Friday Night Gaming, a brand new Internet TV Show broadcasting live from the Computer ArenA in Roswell, GA! Unfortunately, due to technical mishaps, the video archive was not saved (that'll teach us to trust third party video providers) so you won't be able to see what the live viewers saw. In this episode, Bobby Blackwolf and Glen Martin from CC Gaming commiserate over EGM's closure and the layoffs of 1up while attendees at the ArenA play Grand Theft Auto IV with our audience. Our scheduled on-site tournament for Soul Calibur IV didn't have any entrants (it's still early in the show's lifespan) so it's being postponed. In the CC Gaming Hardware Spotlight segment, we take apart an Xbox 360 that has disc tray issues. Then we take calls about hardware repair and discuss the new DLC coming to Burnout Paradise, which is our Free Play game for next week. Also, next week, a live on-air demo of Cartoon Network's MMO FusionFall!<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/FNGLive/~4/Cr-7vC6Zuc4" height="1" width="1"/>
