As stated in the featured content box, this website will be officially moving in the next day or so. It will remain online for about a week before it is completely taken down. You can find the new website - HERE -. I'll continue to add more and more features to it over time while I release more themes and other items such as icon pack and clock widgets and keyboard skins.

I am now back producing themes. Updates will be happening to all previous themes that have been released as well. This site however will be shutdown after a week or so as I'm moving it to a wordpress site. Until that site is complete though this will remain online. The new site will be located - HERE -. The new site is already online, it's just being filled with content. First priority after the new site is up will be updating all published themes as well as releasing new themes I already have completed.

In case anyone is actually wondering what happened and why the sudden leave of absence, it is because my wife gave birth to our new baby boy.

Well due to certain events I will be un-publishing all themes that violate copyrights for right now. Not all my themes are affected however the ones listed below are:

This will hopefully only be temporary and they won't be off the market for long. The listed themes will be taken off the market for now until things are worked out. Sorry for the trouble this may cause for anyone who was thinking of downloading them.

I also will be re-publishing the Air Jordan Fonts under a different name since Air Jordan is a copyright so it'll be named something else.

They will still be visible for viewing on here as a demonstration and so people can see them but there will be no access to them until things are worked out. Thanks for your patience.

Theme Updates

Starting this week the updates to all the themes I've released will begin happening. This will happen for all themes regardless of paid or free due to the cupcake update and new content being skinnable. Please keep an eye out for those updates and after those updates are completed new themes being released will resume once more.

New aHome Theme and more!

Alright as you can see above a new theme is out so enjoy it. Also everyone who uses my themes whether paid or free expect updates to all of them over the next few weeks. This is due to cupcake rolling out (apparently, I still haven't gotten mine yet) which all these themes are compatible with already but also updates coming to aHome in the near future.

Secondly, DxTop now supports aHome themes. So all you DxTop users can rejoice now in the fact you have lots of themes available to you. I will be playing around with how they look in DxTop over the next few days. I'll still release some themes exclusively for DxTop but this does make my life a little easier.

There's lots of things on the way so make sure to keep your eyes open for updates to everything.

Speaking of which, Mystique Chapter2: The Child is finally out on the market. I saw it this morning. If you haven't played chapter 1 yet, get it now, it's probably one of the best games for android and Chapter2 looks just as good if not better.

Also I'm going to ditch the alternate payment methods. With the market gaining more countries with access to paid apps it's not feasible to have it. My paypal account will remain open though for people who need to use it but the links underneath the theme previews will be gone so you'll have to email me. I am still considering using Amazon.com's checkout system as well but that's just a possibility. If anyone has any better suggestions feel free to leave a comment with it.

Busy Busy

As you may have noticed it's been a few days since I posted anything. I have released a new theme, it's the pink one at the top of the main page as well as added new payment options. I might be discontinuing that however as the usefulness hasn't really been there but I will give it a bit more time, still feeling it out. I have a few more themes on the way that will be released shortly for both dxtop and ahome (yes dxtop users I haven't forgot about you).

Still waiting on my Android cupcake update, it's taking forever to get to my phone. AndroidAndMe.com has posted a new trailer to the upcoming Mystique game, Chapter 2: The Child. All I can say is, damn that looks incredible. It reminds me of Silent Hill a lot but more cool since it's playable on our phones. If you like those kinds of games, definitely go check out the new trailer and chances are you'll be grabbing chapter 1 after watching it if you haven't played it.

While on the topic of games, go over to phandroid.com and check out the video of a pre-alpha emulator for our G1 Android phones that looks awesome as well, especially if you like the old school game.

Couple of Themes, Poll

As you may or may not have noticed there's 2 new themes released for aHome. Slick Business (which has gotten a lot of interest, thank you!) and Xbox 360 which I just released today. I wanted to release this theme on the weekend but it wasn't just how I wanted it so it's out today instead.

Also there's a new poll on the right. Just answer yes or no. Yes meaning I should offer other payment options (thru this site) like paypal and/or amazon or something similar. However to cover the costs of this non-market buyers will have a slightly higher price (like $1.20 instead of $0.99) for paid themes. Please keep that in mind when you answer the poll. Unfortunately other payment sites have higher charges especially relating to mailing of products and their updates. Of course if anyone else has suggestions I'm all ears. This is really mostly for people who can't see paid apps yet (international users without paid apps available on the Android Market) but if you do get paid apps and would benefit from a different payment method by all means vote yes.

Cupcake this week, aHome Update

Well according to sources and the fact it's splattered all over the Android websites like AndroidAndMe.com and Phandroid.com it's apparent that US will be getting our cupcake update finally over the next week or so. About damn time I say. I have been waiting for this since the news came out a week or so ago about the rollout starting but ended up only being UK and a tiny bit of the US.

Secondly, mAPPn has updated aHome. Full version users amoung other features now have an RSS widget. Why is this so great? Because now we can have rss feeds on our phone that is intergrated with aHome, also you'll all be able to get this site on RSS and follow the news/theme releases/whatever else that I post every day without having to come here all the time. Yes, that is blatant self-promotion but how could I not mention that.

Android Cupcake News

Well as most dev's have gotten, google has sent out an official email outlining new improvements to the market. Paid apps will soon be available in
* Austria
* France
* Germany
* Italy
* Netherlands
* Spain

and free apps can now be targeted to:
* Canada
* France
* Ireland
* Italy
* Portugal
* Spain
* Switzerland
and if you're a dev we also now have to add a minimum SDK version to the manifest.xml since 1.5 is rolling out slowly, some people will have it before others (currently UK right now). Phandroid has posted an entire article over this including the actual email (saves me from copy/pasting from my email). They have 'only new' beside paid and free apps listing which I'm guessing me past apps won't show so a bit of advice, make an update for your free/paid app when these markets open up to reach these customers!

AndroidAndMe have a great preview article on 1.5 widgets you should also checkout. The official full list of widgets on release are:

Market Comment Rant

Alright I was actually going to do a review which I probably will still do later but thanks to a recent comment on the market from someone named Eric I figured I'd do a rant instead cause it's really damn annoying to look to see how people are enjoying the themes I and every other themer put out and to see the positive comments and get feedback from the comments section only to see some tool post "blah blah blah USC sux!!11omg go texas!!!11" or something of that nature and to only rate it 1 star.

A lot of people requested the USC theme and I am more then happy to have made it and released it for free. I also made 2 texas themes and released those. In fact I have probably damn near 50 requests for 50 different sports teams or sport themes (yes, it's a lot of work which I gladly do). Really I could care less about who is better, really. What I care about is releasing good quality themes for everyone to enjoy and when some tool posts a comment like that and rates it 1 star that really sucks the motivation out of me for doing any other sports teams.

If you don't like the team, don't download it. That's all. I know the logic is simply and scary but it's doable. Scroll by it, pretend it doesn't exist, whatever, I could care less. But don't waste yours and my own time posting and rating like that. You waste your time because you look like a f'ing moron for downloading a theme to a team you clearly don't like JUST to post a comment and rate it one star and you waste my time because then I have to sit here and stew over that kind of stupidity and end up writing a rant about it now that I actually have a place to write it. This would be like me walking into your house, seeing you have a brown colored couch and going "omg brown couches sux!!1 Black color couches all the way!!11" and then running off to my computer to post it on forums because I feel the need to be cool like that.

Anyways, I will still do sports themes so keep those requests coming. Even when I don't respond to an email (I get a lot of them and try to respond to them all) I do read them all and try to fulfill everyones requests, it takes time though. I'd like to thank everyone for all the requests and positive feedback/comments and everyone who enjoys my themes.

USC aHome Theme, Steampunk Icons

Well even though I posted yesterday that I had released both the aHome USC Theme and the DxTop Steampunk icon pack it actually didn't happen till today. Why? Cause I had to tweak a couple of things before I felt it was good for release so sorry for making people wait an extra 12 hours but quality comes first.

This website is almost done, I have to work on a few graphical elements to spruce up the look to how I want it and I'm still organizing a few things near the bottom of the page. I added Cyrket's rss feed to display the newest apps on the market down there as well. I still have yet to figure out what I want to do for the video of the day area, I might just drop that or change it to feature apps/themes/tutorials. I really don't know yet, there's already sites like Driodeo that have a ton of videos.

On the theme front, I still am working on those 2 Dxtop themes I had mentioned I would release on the weekend, I'm a bit behind but they'll be done this week as well as another 1 or 2 aHome themes. I also plan to make a post in the Rants and Reviews section in the next day or two...will it be a rant or a review? No clue yet.

Incoming Cupcake Update

According to Phandroid.com (you can go to the article via the link at the bottom of the main page) T-Mobile is rolling out the update for the USA and UK owners. While all this is fantastic my main concern is hopefully the updated won't destroy the layout of themes otherwise I'm going to have a LOT of updating. As far as I know it's not suppose to though so I wouldn't worry about it, leave the worrying to me if it actually happens.

Either way the Android update is very much welcomed.

Themes for this weekend

Even though it's only mid-week I usually already know the themes I'm going to be releasing on the weekend. Most people now have kind of guessed that I usually don't release much during the week. I like to take my time and do a good job on things I put out onto the Android market for aHome or DxTop.

This weekend I'll be releasing an Adidas shoe theme and a USC theme for aHome. For DxTop I'm leaning towards converting my Air Jordan theme for aHome for DxTop users. It's been extremely popular with aHome users and lord knows DxTop could use more themes, I just don't know if DxTop users want themes like that. If I get all that done I'll be looking into releasing my Old School Nintendo theme for DxTop as well for free.

Speaking of DxTop, as of this posting I'm still waiting for the update that fixes the little bug with the home screen highlights to be released.

Updates Updates Updates

Alright so after some messing around I have the email subscription option working as well as the rss feeds working. So now you can get updates via your email or rss feed(s) of your choice.

DxTop has been updated as well with performance increases, bug fixes, cupcake widget support which is great. Also picture frame skinning (soon) and BetterCut font packs are now supported which being a theme dev is great news. On the flip side, the icon bubbles have reverted back on the home screens to orange and displaying that under the modified icon highlight files. I believe it's a bug and hopefully it gets fixed fast.

Also on the theme end of things, I've heard back from Better Android. I'll be sending my icons in for them to pack and release for the DxTop themes I've released once I get them organized over the next couple days.

Then there is the Video of the Day box below. Chances are that'll show videos pertaining to Android stuff.

New Website

Well it was about due especially with me making both DxTop and aHome themes that I was going to need a place to post everything and be a bit more organized and so here it is. The slideshow at the top with show previews of already released themes for both DxTop and aHome but due to the size it'll only show a part of a specific theme although full screenshots will be posted on here as well. I will update my Official aHome forum thread when I release new aHome themes but this will be Extreme Themes new home.

Everything will be fully posted in the next few days so if you see some content missing, I just haven't added it yet. The email subscription option isn't running yet either. I'll also have an rss feed to subscribe to and any other options that are possible, suggestions would be great (i.e. different rss feed services etc).

And yes, this is a free template, I like it, eventually I'll make my own at some point but for now I'm using this.

aHome Themes Preview

1) Tribal Gold $0.99

All icons (24) custom made by me
Background made by me.
A good golden tribal theme that will look good with most backgrounds. Since this one is a paid theme updates to it will happen when more features become open.

2) Military Theme $0.99

All icons custom made by me.
Background made by me.
A military theme honoring all the branches of the military. A request I was more then happy to set aside themes being worked on to devote full time to. Gold framed icons to give each military symbol/crest a nice official look. Also included in the icons are the medals of honor for the Army/Navy/Air Force. Enjoy =)

3) Organic Green (Free)

A nice theme with an organic feel to it, green accents. Will work well with most backgrounds.
A red and a blue version to be released shortly. Enjoy =)
P.S. I just put the forest pic in as a background to match the organic feel, feel free to use any background you want =)

4) Sleek Red (Free)

Smaller icons, a minimalistic dark feeling and sleek looking black and red theme.
Comes with 2 wallpapers to choose from. The default one is shown in the above screenshot, the second is a lighter wallpaper, different design but sticking with the red/wine/sophisticated look. Of course you can always use your own too. =)
**Just to clarify, there's no actual text on the folders, its made to look like there is for looks.**

5) Lemony Goodness ($0.99)

A nice Yellow, White and Orange theme with nice big glossy icons and a overall bright warm look.
These will look good on almost any background so please feel free to use whatever one you wish, I know the giant lemon in mine will be a bit bright for some people =). Don't forget paid themes will always be updated with more icons/skinned widgets/menus etc etc when the options become available within aHome.
*I know the background is a bit grainy but I had to save it as a lower quality to keep the theme file size down. I've uploaded the high quality version for anyone to get if they want it here:Click Here

6) Old Steampunk ($0.99)

An old steampunk theme. This theme is graphic heavy and very detailed, hence the file size. If you do not have space on your phone you can rename it as a zip file on your phone and save it to your sd card and load it from there to save space (you can do this with Astro and/or Appmanager, both free on the market). Lot of work went into this so I hope you enjoy =)
**UPDATED: I tweaked one of the icons, update is already on the market. Sorry I'm a perfectionist =)

7) Old School Nintendo (Free) Broke 10k downloads mark!

A fun old school Nintendo theme in all it's 8-bit glory =) Enjoy. Use any background, I just put that one in for it to have one, there's tons of old Nintendo backgrounds available.

8) Texas A&M Theme (Free)

A request for a Texas A&M Theme complete. All icons are skinned (I Didn't feel like squishing it all onto one screenshot today). The analog clock is skinned as well.
*UPDATE: Tweaked Analog Clock for better visibility*

9) Texas Longhorns (Free)

The much requested Texas Longhorns theme is now available. All icons and clock are skinned. I do get everyones requests, which there are a lot of, and all will get completed as soon as they can be. Please excuse the grainy screenshot, it's not actually grainy on the phone, that was me saving it in low resolution.

10) Nike (Remaining Free to celebrate all the support and downloads, broke 10k downloads! )

A nice little Nike theme that'll work with any background. Skinned clock as well.
*Note: Changed my mind, this will stay free to celebrate all the downloads and support. I will still release an icon pack in the near future once BetterCut is supported.*

11)Air Jordans ($0.99)

An Air Jordan theme featuring various Air Jordans from different series. Skinned clock and 3 wallpapers (I included the Nike wallpaper with this theme as the second wallpaper since everyone liked it). When BetterCut is supported there will be an icon pack released for this theme.
**Update: Added 3rd wallpaper. If you don't like any of them feel free to download one and change it just like you would normally without the theme on. There's too many Air Jordan backgrounds to include in the theme and the more I add the larger the file size gets**
**Update #2: Font pack now released with 5 fonts. 4 graffiti style fonts and one tech style font, see screenshots above for preview**

12+13) Adidas Blue and Adidas Orange ($0.99)

This is an Adidas shoe theme, in light blue with some darker blue-purple offset colors. I went for a neon sign kind of look and the shoes were on a platform that was lit underneath shining upwards. I think it came out rather good.

Everything in skinned, comes with 3 wallpapers as well. Simple ones but they work well with the theme. When BetterCut is supported by aHome there will be an icon pack released for this theme as well. There is also an Orange version with red-offset colors as you can see from the screenshots.

There is also a green/yellow colored version I might release if enough people want that color scheme.

14)USC Theme (Free)

Well all you USC fans should be happy because the USC theme everyone is requesting is done! Comes with 2 backgrounds (need aHome full for that option) and all the icons and clock skinned. If you don't like the default background and you have aHome lite you can download the 2nd background here: ---Click Me!---

15) Slick Business ($0.99)

Here is one of 3 themes that I hope to release this weekend. This is a slick business style theme (hence the name). Black, sophisticated looking, a bit of gloss as well, good for when you're in a meeting or at work/with clients and don't really want to have a wild theme on. Comes with 3 vista style wallpapers but of course you can use your own as well. The clock and all the icons are skinned as well of course. Enjoy.

16) Xbox 360 ($0.99)

I wanted to release this on the weekend but there were some finishing touches I wanted to put on it and so it didn't get released till now. Xbox 360 theme for ahome with clock/icons/dock skinned as usual. Only one wallpaper but there's a billion you can get from google images so I wanted to keep the file size down as well. Enjoy.

17) Pink Gloss ($0.99)

New theme released and as you can see it's very pink. Icons/dock/clock are all skinned and comes with three wallpapers so expect a slightly bigger file size. If you don't like pink then I would suggest not getting this theme. Enjoy.

18) System Gloss (Free)

New theme released today called System Gloss and as you can see the icons are nice and glossy, fairly 3d and detailed. Comes with 2 backgrounds (they are hi-res as is everything else which is why this theme is 1MB, save it to your SDcard if you like).

1) Dx Organic Green (Free)

This is the very popular Organic Green theme I did for aHome now done for DxTop. Everything is skinned, icons, selection bubbles, trays and clock. Enjoy =)

2)Dx Tribal Gold ($0.99)

This is my popular Tribal Gold theme done for DxTop. Everything is skinned, icons, selection bubbles, trays and clock. Recently clicked tab stays 'focused' at the bottom (it's in the forefront of the other tab) for convenience. Enjoy.

3)Dx Steampunk ($0.99)

Originally I made this for aHome but have had a lot of requests from DxTop users to make themes so this is one of them. Everything is skinned including some parts which are currently not supported as of yet (dock, picture frame, etc). Icon bubbles are custom graphic enhanced, changing tray icons, clock, search etc etc are all done. When they are there will be an update with the additional skinned features. Also an icon pack will be released shortly once I hear back from Better Android (makers of BetterCut).

FAQ and FSC

FAQ and FSC (Frequently Said Commets):

Q) What is aHome/aHome Lite?
A) aHome (or aHome Lite) is an app that is available on the market. It is a Home Alternative app which means, basically, it replaces the default theme/style of the home screen(s) for your Android phone. aHome Lite is the free version.

Q) What is Dxtop?
A) Same thing as aHome but with different functionality. There is both a paid and free version available on the market.

Q) This won't download therefore it doesn't work etc etc.
A1) If it is a free theme/app/whatever it's more than likely just market lag or connectivity issue so just try again in a bit. It is NOT the app/theme/whatever you are trying to get from the marketplace. It is impossible for a packaged theme/app/whatever to affect the downloading of items from the marketplace. Leaving 1 star on any dev's applications because of something out of their control sucks.
A2) If it is a paid app/theme/whatever it could be what was mentioned above. Also google can take up to 3hours at times to process and verify a payment thru checkout. Even though the download button shows you won't be able to download anything until it goes through with the payment. Lastly, if your payment is declined it'll still show you the download button for up to 7days to give people a chance to correct whatever the issue was with the payment being declined. Again, it has NOTHING to do with the app. Before leaving a crappy rating for something the dev can't control, email them and ask them if this is what is going on.

Q) I downloaded this theme, it installed but when I try to open it, it won't launch.
A1) As stated in every description every themer puts out, you need to have aHome or aHome Lite installed and you do NOT open the actual theme file seperately. To set a theme press the menu button on your phone, then press the "More" option when it appears and then select "Themes Installed" or "Themes on SDcard" (if you saved a theme to your SDcard as a zip file). Then it'll show a list of themes you have, select the one you want to use and it'll load up. Just return to your home screen and the theme you wish to use should be loaded up.
A2) For DxTop, the same thing, do NOT open seperately. Press the menu button, then Appearance and then Theme and select the theme you wish to use.

Q) This font pack won't launch or work (aHome FULL only).
A) Firstly, you need to make sure you have aHome full version, it'll only work with that and as with themes, do NOT launch seperately. If you have aHome full, to set your font to what ever you want after downloading a font pack press the menu button, then press the "More" option when it appears. From there select aHome settings and down the list that appears you'll see Font & Color, select that and continue to customize your fonts with the options available.

Q) Will you make me a personal theme just for me?
A) Right now I've only been thinking about publically released themes on the market whether free or paid. If someone wants a personal theme all their own and not released on the market (i.e. exclusively their own theme) we would have to discuss it and yes it'd have to be paid for. This can be a personal theme (family photos), business theme (a theme for your company) or whatever else you want. If there is an actual demand for something like this I'll actually work out a price list, until then just contact me via email to discuss everything.

Q) I bought a theme through paypal/google checkout from your site, how do I install this?
A)I believe when you go through this service and download with your phone it downloads as a binary file so follow these instructions:

1. Download and install "Linda File Manager" (or whatever file manager app you prefer) from the android market.
2. Download your theme(s) using the link(s) from the email(s) when you purchased it. The file downloaded will be called #####.bin where the # are numbers.
3. Click on the file after it has finished downloading and the Linda File Manager will open.
4. Find #####.bin in the list of files on the bottom half of the Linda File Manager screen and press it. A menu should pop up asking you how you want to open the file. Pick Package Installer from the menu.

It's pretty much the same thing if you've downloaded it onto your computer first. Just add a step in there where you attach your phone to your comp and download it onto your phone that way, the rest should be the same.
