Ever Heard Of "Out of Ashes"?

This is the first album of Chester Bennington's side project "Dead By Sunrise". They have released the sneak peek of the making of the album. The album is expected to release late 2009. The album has been worked on for 3 years. It was earlier postponed due to Chester's commitment to his main band Linkin Park. The album art has also been released.

Ever heard of the new movie "Sherlock Holmes"

I was recently going through the so many trailers uploaded by "Viso trailers" on Youtube. What I saw on the list amazed me. There was a movie named Sherlock holmes starring Robert Downey Jr ( the actor of Iron Man). I think it's fully different from the Classic Sherlock Holmes, if you know what I mean.

Sherlock Holmes originally solved mysteries using deductive reasoning. Not fighting with huge men (sometimes almost naked), or flirting with women. That's not our Sherlock Holmes. It is like the movie is just using a brand name "Sherlock Holmes", but making everything of their own. Anyways, see the trailer here. The movie releases on 25th December. Why the hell do these people release the trailer so early?

Anyways, the movie looks funny. There is comedy involved. I don't know what to think of this. Let's see some more trailers first.

Ever Heard of "Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince (the Film)"?

This film in an adaptation of the sixth part, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price, in the seven part series. The movie stars the same main characters. According to wikipedia, It is rated PG by the MPAA for some violence, scary images, language and mild sensuality. (yipeee!). It is directed by David Yates, the Director of fifth part (The Order of the Phoenix). Man! I hated fifth part's movie.

The new trailer (5th I think) is awesome. Watch it on Youtube. The main cast is more or less the same. It is due release in Mid July (15th to 17th). Hope it's good. Atleast worth the ticket (now where is my grinning emoticon? Anyways, imagine it here).

Ever Heard of Angels & Demons: The Movie?

After the movie "The Da Vinci Code" and it's controversies, comes another film adaptation of Dan Brown's highly succesful novel "Angels & Demons". The story of Angels & Demons comes before than that of The Da Vinci code.

Premise

CERN summons Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) to investigate a murder victim branded with theIlluminati ambigram. Langdon discovers the secret society's plan to kill four Roman Catholic cardinals and destroy St. Peter's Basilica with stolen antimatter during a papal conclave.

Now, like always, I wan to watch this movie. I don't even post about something if I am not interested. That's the point of a blog. So get the tickets, and watch the movie. I wish the movie success (to be returned if I get bored). Movie releases on 15th May in India.

KeepHD.com is a cool site to download HD (High Definition) videos from youtube.
There are three ways to download an HD video from youtube using "KeepHD".

1. Go to their URL Downloader page through the tab. Paste the video URL in their text box and click on download.

2. Whenever your watching a video on Youtube, just replace Youtube with KeepHD and it will automatically download the video.

Ever heard of the new song "We Made You" by Eminem?

A new song has been released on the Eminem.com. "We Made you". It's nice but not that great you know. All the same, listen to the brand new track by Eminem, the King of Rap.

This song is another song on his album "Relapse" which is releasing on 19th May after a long Break by Eminem due to some problems of his own. (See Relapse : Upcoming Album by Eminem) This is the third song I've heard after Crack A bottle ft. Dr. Dre and 50 Cent and I'm Having a Relapse.

The single, produced by Dr.Dre and with a chorus sung by singer Charmagne Tripp, was released on April 7, 2009 along with a music video.The thing about this video is that it has mocked at various celebrities like Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Amy Winehouse, John Mayer, Jessica Alba, Lindsay and others. The Song (and it's video) also spoofs Sarah Palin and Ellen DeGeneres.

Rapper Eminem, The Marshal Mathers, took a break in 2005 from recording his own music, and became a producer of other Rap works, especially his own label, Shady Records. In the following year, the rapper's remarriage to his former wife Kimberly Scott lasted only eleven weeks before a second divorce. His closest friend and fellow rapper DeShaun "Proof" Holton was later shot and killed outside a nightclub in Detroit. Devastated by this, Eminem became increasingly reclusive from the outside world, as he would rarely leave his house nor appear in public.

Ever Heard of "The Fast and the Furious 4"

Of course you have. The latest Fast and the Furious movie releases on April 4 in the US. It has all the same things with a different touch. Another movie I don't wanna miss. It is an interquel set between the second and third movies. The film is currently in post-production and is scheduled for release in the United States on April 3, 2009. The plot connects with the original film of the series. It stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster are reprising their roles.

Synopsis:

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with Brian O'Connor (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him. Ever heard of Transformers 2, the movie?

Transformers: Revenge of the fallen is the sequel of the blockbuster Transformers.

Previously, Transformers, showed robots with highly advanced technology come to Earth. Decepticons have come to find their leader and a certain 'cube' lost somewhere on Earth. They are evil like their leader, and don't mind in blasting away anyone in their way. but don't worry, the good Autobots are here to stop the Decepticons. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) discovers that his new car is really the Autobot Bumblebee because it seems that the key to the location of the 'cube' which contains immense power, and in wrong hands, it can cause havoc. Megan Fox plays the role of Sam's crush, who gets involved because she was in Sam's car (or Autobot Bumblebee).

There have been many spoofs and fake trailers on Youtube of the much anticipated movie "Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen". This is what seems to be the first original trailer of the movie. The Youtube trailer is quite low in terms of quality and video size. That is why I recommend Official movie site. Anyways, you can check it out. It is scheduled to release on 26.6.2009. I am waiting eagerly for the movie to step out in the open.

Jeffrey Archer: Sons of Fortune

Ever heard of Jeffrey Archer's 'Sons of Fortune'?

Most novel loving readers may have heard of best selling author Jeffrey Archer, even if they haven't read his books. This novel shows 2 twins of 1940s who were separated within few hours of their birth and grow up in different environments. During the years that follow, both brothers grow up unaware of each other's existence. Both lead different lives and come face to face later on. I am not going to tell you when.

The novel's basic theme, what I felt was American Politics.

It is a great novel, and a must read. Though the plot begins to get boring sometimes, it is really interesting on the whole and shows you just how people deal in different situations. It will teach you quite some tactics you can use too.

So Jeffrey Archer: Sons of Fortune is my pick as a "book to read".
Tip: It would be better if you don't read the back cover of the book before reading the novel (huge spoilers there)

Scribd is a great website which was brought to my notice by my roommate at the hostel. It is a platform for users worldwide to post their files for consideration. Scribd is ideal for fan fictions, authoring exposure, learning about hobbies from others, and all such things.

What all you can do is:

Search for a file you want.
Upload you own files and share them with the world.
Preview files online or download them in plain text or in the format they are in. (ex.: .pdf, .doc)

Ever Heard of "Dead by Sunrise"?

I heard about Dead by Sunrise (previously known as Snow White Tan) from a friend. He told me it's a new band involving Chester Bennington (Lead Singer :Linkin Park). My first reaction was that of shock (Chester's left LP?)

But it turned out that it is his side project. So, I thought I might do a research of my own, which, is nowadays fulfilled by reading just a Wikipedia article on the exact topic.

The band, which also features Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck of the band Orgy, and Anthony "Fu" Valcic, is Chester's solo endeavor. The Dead by Sunrise album has been recorded in full and was originally slated for a 2006 release, and then an early 2007 release, but due to his commitments to Linkin Park, Chester has put the release on hold until 2009.

Chester performs guitar and keyboard on the album, as well as singing. All extra instrumental, programming and production was undertaken by Ryan, Amir, and Fu. The album does not yet have a title, but names have been thrown around previously.

Unconfirmed track Listing

On Julien K's official website, a picture was posted that shows a potential track listing for the upcoming album. The list contains the following titles (most of which are just working titles):
