I somehow ended up here after posting a picture of the White Christmas album on Facebook. Anyhow, awesome choices of Christmas albums! I have the first two and am looking to purchase the third one this year. Have you tried Jewel's Christmas album? It is in my top five. Check it out, for the majority of it, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Sounds from your comments, Euphrony, that you're rather ambivalent about Christmas music. Not quite a Grinch...but almost. :-)

I for one love it! And round about the end of November, I pull out all the CD's and old cassettes and start enjoying it all over again. Going caroling is a wonderful part of the season too.

Child slavery is a real issue and most people turn a blind eye as they either dont want to face the trueth or really not bothered- modern living to them is fun. I find it a shame that young children are used in sweat shops to produce high end items- I find it a disgrace that the items are bought, so when I came across your blog I thought- good at least there is one other out there with similar concerns

Marc Martel should be #1 on the male vocalists list! He is on my list - even above Freddie. I can't believe how talented he (and the whole dh gang) is! Check out their CDs if you haven't. I would recommend Ending is Beginning as a starter. You won't be disappointed!

MB - no one was hurt in the "wreck". Basically, Mrs. E was backing out of our driveway and backed into my dad truck. Busted out the rear window and dented the door on our van.

NatCh and JSue - I did not mention the feedreaders. Those stats have remained constant, so I know people have their ears open (so to speak). Still, I don't feel a huge demand for my particular brand of online drivel.

C-Ham, I might agree with Seth. I refuse to tweet, and I may have a facebook account, but I spend about 10 minutes a month with it (and that may be more than I want).

I have your blog set up on an RSS feed on my Google home page, so while I haven't "stopped by," I've effectively looked for new entries daily, if not several times a day. (shrug)

That being said, I certainly understand the "end of life" scenario on activities, I've felt one coming on myself with another online activity. :(

It's sad, but in the end, it's just the way things work.

Seth says Blog is Dead, and evidence is mounting that while that may not be altogether true, it is certainly the overall trend.
