In this interview with Rose Aguilar, Riki Ott talks about the health crisis caused by the BP oil disaster in the Gulf. She says she’s currently dealing with three or four autopsies and knows of people who are down to 4.7% of their lung capacity and have enlarged hearts. “These people have oil in their bodies,” she said.

She believes four to five million people in the Gulf were exposed to either acute or intermediate levels of oil at dangerous levels.

In a statement issued today, Kesha Rogers, Democratic candidate for the 22nd Congressional District in Texas, demanded that citizens join her in demanding that Obama be removed from office, and that LaRouche’s Homeowners and Bank Protection Act be put into effect now, to deal with the so-called foreclosure crisis. “Obama is defending the so-called rights of international banks, to throw Americans out of their homes, arguing that halting foreclosures will weaken the economy. Not even Herbert Hoover had a policy of throwing people out on the street. This sort of malicious, murderous insanity, by Obama, will continue killing Americans, unless this failure of a human being is removed from office by the 25th Amendment.

“Everything Washington has done since July 2007 has been a fraud. The Homeowners and Bank Protection Act, proposed by economist Lyndon LaRouche, in July 2007, is the only real solution to the mortgage crisis, to help the millions of people being foreclosed on, while halting the phony mortgage backed securities bubble.

“The HBPA includes three provisions:

(1) a national freeze on foreclosures;

(2) protection of commercial banks through Glass-Steagall bankruptcy reorganization, while writing off the worthless paper associated with derivatives trading;

(3) and the creation of a rental payment system to recapitalize commercial banks, as long as the moratorium is in place, coordinated by governors on the state level.

“This process may take several years, but it is the only way to ensure that families are kept in their homes, and safe from the invisible hand of Wall Street, which has been picking our pocket since Nixon destroyed the fixed-exchange rates of Franklin Roosevelt, in 1971.

“Only a return to Glass-Steagall banking, where the commercial assets of day-to-day life are kept separate from all forms of speculation and gambling, coupled with massive investment in scientifically advanced infrastructure projects like NAWAPA and NASA, can create a long term economic recovery. This is the policy that will create enough productive work, so that people can afford to buy a home and raise a family. This won’t happen as long as Obama remains in office, so he must be foreclosed on with the 25th Amendment, now.”

Why is there no clear process to be followed by agents that can then be given to businesses so they can have an idea of the processes if there is a problem? Where — in the name of all that is logical — has common sense, common courtesy and decency gone?

Morningland Dairy is the latest attempt by the FDA to fulfill the Healthy People 2020 objective to kill raw dairy. Morningland is owned by Joseph and Denise Dixon, who operate the cheese plant and make raw cheese from cows kept right on the property and managed by one of their eldest daughters. They have 12 children, 4 who still live at home, and they have been actively engaged in real food for decades. They were caught up in the Rawesome Raid dragnet and many believe the questionable California Dept of Food and Agriculture tests on their cheese are the legal justification for the multi-agency guns drawn raid at Rawesome.

Farm’s Perfect Safety Record Matters Not to Authorities

In the thirty years of Morningland Dairy operations NO ONE has become ill from consuming their products. Yet they have been ordered by the Missouri Milk Board to destroy ALL of their cheese without actual tests being performed on the cheese stock. This is nearly 50,000 pounds of cheese, or approximately $250,000.

Since the Milk Board and the FDA showed up at Morningland on August 26th, they have been “embargoed” from shipping or making any product. They dumped their milk for nearly six weeks before being approved to send it into homogenized, pasteurized distribution. All the while, they have had to pay the bill to keep the dairy and cheese plant operable.

On September 24th, the Milk Board verbally ordered Morningland to destroy their product. Morningland asked that this order be put in writing. One week later the order was hand delivered to General Manager/owner, Joseph Dixon. The order states that in three business days the Milk Board would contact them with when and how the cheese was to be destroyed.

Morningland Rebuts the Destroy Order and Offers a Solution

Morningland dared to publish a written objection to committing suicide, a rebuttal and proposed remedy. They rebutted many of the stated “facts” in the 10-page order, Destroy Orders: Morningland Dairy. The Morningland Dairy then offered a reasonable, logical, scientifically sound remedy to destruction on the afternoon of October 6th.

Gov’t Pushes Forward to Destroy Cheese, and Farm

The next morning, they were served with a restraining order and preliminary injunction by the Attorney General’s office of Missouri. They were to be in court the very next day. In sum, they were ordered to destroy their wealth on Friday, asked for logic and justice on Wednesday, notified they were being sued on Thursday and ordered to be in court on Friday.

At 4:50pm on Thursday, the Attorney General’s office called and canceled court because one or two of their witnesses couldn’t attend. Never mind that a family run dairy and cheese plant with 9 families making a living through it should mount a legal defense against destruction in one day. It’s another raid using Gestapo legal tactics that fit the MO of the FDA and their minions… or sub agents, if you prefer.

As readers of this blog and those in the real food movement know, the FDA has a mission. They have blatantly stated that you have no right to consume foods of your choice, and the FDA Plant and Dairy head has a documented Howard Hughes like fear of raw dairy. They are happy to use their resources to “protect” you from consuming things that don’t make any one ill. They’ve reduced science to superstition. If they get more power through S.510, they will regulate the family farm and real food to death and give you Cheez Whiz and Twinkies as government approved food.

What You Can Do to Help

To fight for your right to choose what you want to eat, Morningland must be able to go on the offense. They are willing to sacrifice everything they have worked for to stand for your ability to eat real food.

Friends of Morningland have put up a website, The Uncheese Party. They are asking supporters to sponsor a cheese to help the family out financially.

For as little as $5 you can tell the FDA and their minions that you are smart enough to decide what you want to eat and don’t need their permission or “help” to figure out what is “good for us”. This battle must be won.

For several years, Doreen Hannes has been actively exposing the agencies and organizations that desire to control the food supply through international agreements, treaties and the agency rule making and legislative processes. “It’s dangerous to be right when your government is wrong” — Voltaire

An El Paso Petland Franchisee that has been forced out of business by being harassed and falsely accused of selling puppies that, according to The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), were bred in inhumane conditions. HSUS also aggressively pressured and succeeded in getting the El Paso City Counsel to adopt a ban on the sale of dogs under one-year old.

HSUS, and its radical animal rights cronies have used these tactics and made this claim against Petland all over the United States. HSUS has actually tried to sue Petland in multiple attempts including one as recently as early 2010, but has failed to present enough actual evidence to get a court of law to consider hearing a lawsuit against Petland.

Why is that important? Well, here in Missouri we are considering Proposition B in three weeks which is another example of HSUS falsely defaming and demonizing legitimate, well run businesses with the
intent of unfairly forcing them out of business. Missouri’s highly regarded dog breeders that produce award winning dogs that end up being enjoyed by families all over the world.

While the Petland store’s closing mentioned above will cost El Paso 25-30 real jobs, here in Missouri we have approximately 1,400 licensed breeders that employ approximately 4,000 to 5,000 Missourians. Couple that with all the related businesses like veterinarians, pet product retailers, Pet Product Manufacturers, insurance agents, accountants, etc. and you are talking somewhere over 100,000 jobs that are directly related to businesses run by Missouri breeders and are at risk if Proposition B passes. These numbers are real jobs held by your friends, relatives and neighbors.

So while HSUS runs false inflammatory TV and radio ads to attempt to demonize and crush legitimate Missouri businesses owned by your neighbors and your friends, while never mentioning that the proposed referendum will do nothing to stop or punish those that break our current laws, just remember that this is really about killing jobs… maybe yours.

Conservative song costs coach his job

A Tennessee middle school football coach is looking to the future after his termination for alleged political incorrectness. (More of the story below the video.)

Twenty-six-year-old Bryan Glover is a Christian who co-wrote a song called “When You’re Holding a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail,” which takes a dig at the current administration and what he believes to be the wrong moves for the U.S. He sent a link to his song to everyone in his personal e-mail inbox, which included parents from Grassland Middle School, where he coached football.

“An hour-and-a-half after sending out the e-mail, I got the phone call from the head coach saying that he had had complaints from parents; he was told to fire me,” the former coach accounts.

He notes that he was surprised by the allegations against him.

“When the coach first called me, he said his phone was blown up with parents saying that I was being politically incorrect — quote, unquote — if you will, and that some of them were even reading into racial overtones in the song,” Glover explains.

But he points out that the lyrics make no direct or indirect reference to race.

A number of supportive parents met with the principal and asked for reinstatement, but the school district is remaining firm. The Williamson County superintendent refuses to say why the coach was fired, but he speculates that it could be an issue of how he obtained the parents’ e-mail addresses — even though the e-mail was sent from his personal account.

Meanwhile, Glover says he has read the Constitution and believes he is standing on firm ground because of the provision for free speech.

UPDATE : 10/07/2010 10.53PM PST — We have confirmed that the affidavit in support of the order to take the child from her parents states ,along with a long list of other assertions against both parents, that “The Division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the Oath Keepers.” Yes, there are other, very serious allegations. Out of respect for the privacy of the parents, we will not publish the affidavit. We will leave that to Mr. Irish. But please do remember that allegations do not equal facts — they are merely allegations (and in my experience as a criminal defense lawyer in small town Montana I saw many allegations that proved to be false).

But an even more fundamental point is that regardless of the other allegations, it is utterly unconstitutional for government agencies to list Mr. Irish’s association with Oath Keepers in an affidavit in support of a child abuse order to remove his daughter from his custody. Talk about chilling speech! If this is allowed to continue, it will chill the speech of not just Mr. Irish, but all Oath Keepers and it will serve as the camel under the tent for other associations being considered too risky for parents to dare. Thus, it serves to chill the speech of all of us, in any group we belong to that “officials” may not approve of. Don’t you dare associate with such and such group, or you could be on “the list” and then child protective services might come take your kids.

Note that there is no allegation that Oath Keepers is a criminal organization or that Mr. Irish, in the context of his association with Oath Keepers, is committing any crime. We are not advocating or planning imminent violence, which is the established line where free speech ends and criminal behavior begins (See Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395 U.S. 444 (1969), which, as Wikipedia notes, “held that government cannot punish inflammatory speech unless it is directed to inciting and likely to incite imminent lawless action. In particular, it overruled Ohio’s criminal syndicalism statute, because that statute broadly prohibited the mere advocacy of violence.” We don’t even advocate that the current serving use violence of any kind, let alone imminent violence. We ask them to merely stand down.

Neither is Oath Keepers a militia, for that matter. However, EVEN IF WE WERE, that also would not be a valid reason to take someone’s child away. PRIVATE MILITIAS, JUST LIKE OTHER VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATIONS, ARE NOT ILLEGAL, and it is not a crime to associate with them. To the contrary, we have an absolute right, won by the blood of patriots, and protected by our First Amendment, to freely associate with each other as we damn well please so long as we are not advocating or planning imminent violence or directly harming our children (and no, teaching them “thought crime” like “All men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,” or that those who swear an oath should keep it, does not count — at least not yet). A parent associating with a militia is not engaged in child endangerment and is not evidence of child endangerment (despite the shrill screeching of people such as Mark Potock of the SPLC, who desperately wants it to be so). Just recently a Time Magazine article described how the reporter visited the happy home of a militia member and his family — and those kids are still at home, where they belong, as is the case with many thousands of children across this country who have parents who “associate” with private militias and all manner of other non-criminal groups. You had damn well better defend the rights of those parents to freely associate in their militias and keep their kids while doing so. You can bet that if you let such an association be listed as grounds for taking children from their parents that it won’t only be militia folks who have their rights violated. [Emphasis added by EGN] Homeschoolers, evangelical Christians, gun owners, etc. will also be on the hit list. Just wait. Remember Pastor Niemöller’s timeless warning:

They came first for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

A modern version might read like this:

They came first for the militia members,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a militia member.

Then they came for the three percenters,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a three percenter.

Then they came for the Oath Keepers,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t an Oath Keeper.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

So, defend the right of even the most hardcore militia members to freely associate without that right being chilled and suppressed by means of the threat of taking their kids.

But this particular listing of an association with Oath Keepers as one of the reasons for taking a child from her parents is all the more absurd, taking it to a whole other level of Alice in Wonderland “down is up” and up is down,” when you consider that a significant percentage of the members of Oath Keepers are current serving police, fire-fighters, and military personnel. Three of our state chapter presidents are current serving police officers. How can “associating” with such fine men and women who are daily trusted with tremendous power and responsibility constitute evidence of child endangerment? How can it be that a New Hampshire police department can consider someone associating with other current serving police officers as evidence of child abuse and endangerment? Only in the bizzaro world of the SPLC are public servants who commit to simply following the law, keeping their oaths by refusing to violate your rights, considered “extreme” and “dangerous.”

This is the camel’s nose under the tent. We need to fight even this one instance of such a violation of the right to associate and to peaceably assemble, and we need to push back against the new world of thought crime that is being relentlessly pushed upon us. If this listing of mere association with Oath Keepers is allowed to be used in this case to justify, even in part, removing a newborn from the custody of her parents, with nothing else alleged about Oath Keepers except that the father “is associated” with this organization, that will have a sweeping chilling effect on the First Amendment protected rights of freedom of speech, peaceable assembly, association, and petition for redress of grievances for all of us — and it will only be the beginning.

OK, now it is TIME TO PUSH BACK — peaceably, of course, using our voices and pens. Let the officials in question know that you strongly oppose their listing of an association with Oath Keepers as one of the reasons for taking this child. Let them know you insist that they remove that “reason” from the affidavit and issue a public retraction, and until they do so, they will hear from all of us, and also from our legal counsel. And we won’t relent until they respect our First Amendment protected rights of free speech and association and cease and desist this chilling of those rights. Be professional, but firm. Make them hear you.

“This confirms that Irish was targeted partly because of his association with Oath Keepers, in addition to the fact that he bought guns. Apparently, exercising the second amendment is now reasonable justificaation for the state to steal your child in America.”
