Three part webinar series on IPsec

Prompted by strong interest and participation in its first webinar on secure boot, Elliptic has announced a three part webinar series on IPsec, a suite of protocols for securing Internet protocol (IP) communications. This IPsec series is extracted from the three day training course that Elliptic has developed and is broken down into three forty minute segments:

An Introduction to Security in IPsec Wednesday February 13th at 11:00 am PST (UTC-8).
Hardware offload solutions for IPsec Wednesday, March 12th at 11:00 am PDT (UTC-7).
Software integration of offload in IPsec Wednesday, April 16th at 11:00 am PDT (UTC-7.

The first presentation provides an introduction to the security model used in IPsec. The security terms discussed in this session will be used in the second and third webinars. For those that have a solid background in security, the first webinar may not be required. The second session outlines offload options available to designers and the third presentation provides insight into software integration issues encountered when integrating the offload engines into popular operating systems such as Linux. Mike Borza, Elliptics Chief Technical Officer, will lead the webinars.
