He was unaware that my thyme song," Through the Eyes of Love" was always played at every opening of the Love Center, reunions and I have used it at my workshops and lectures. Recalling he'd read before leaving home, that Melissa Manchester was doing a show in Virginia at the The Barns At Wolf Trap, minutes away from his home. A few days later in the cabin while using his magical needles he mentioned he had just ordered 6 tickets to the show " Now you have to come to Maryland". Thinking he was teasing, I smiled and said" Yea, I'll fly right up", kiddingly. Before we left he said he had called both Maryann and Carol, your booked for readings... Speechless I just smiled. Those words haunted me for days, when one morning I said why not...so I booked a flight. My first adventure of on the road.

I was the house guest of Maryanne (Queenie) and her loved dog Lilly. Her home is in the historical part of town, which I must admit I would have loved to have seen more of. Carol did have me fully booked and was my pickup every morning taking me to her lovely home. Her large ranch home had a huge basement that was like a full apartment, so I had lots of room and privacy for those lovely and interesting people who came to be read. I did visit her center. Carol is a certified reflexologist, yet her gifted energy work goes far beyond that title. I had a beautiful and moving experience . Seems my Willie had been visiting her days before I arrived and requested we blend. She is able to feel the energy of spirit. Yes, you can tell the different, it feels so much cooler than the rest of the room. After my session she asked me to join her in a spot in the room, it was cool and I felt...no joke...a feeling of something merging through my back. The sensation and love I felt was overwhelming.

Another surprise was that my visit and invitation to Maryland included Joan. I honestly felt this was an impossibility, but fate had other plans and she delighted us all when she said I'll be there Wednesday. The team of Carol and Hung arranged an introduction at a library in Damascus. There were around 60 people. I gave some messages and Joan did several flower readings. We told many stories of our adventures on "this path" and they asked many good questions.

Thursday was my day of rest, no readings. Mid afternoon, Queenie, Carol, Joan and I drove down to Hung and Evelyn's home. What a lovely home and Lilly their dog was Excited to greet us...at this point I was really missing my Gracie. Hung had a special room set up for my readings with a stack of tapes, personalized...classy! Hung took us to a lovely restaurant for dinner and then on to the Barn...Joan, Queenie and I had front seats, Carol, Evelyn and Hung a few rows back. My heart was pounding with an inner wish, well! guess what..her opening number was "Through the Eyes" Joan and I squeezed hands and were filled with tears. Melissa is a great talent and writes a lot of the songs, spending her time between NY, LA, and Nashville. A new one she has just written you'll be hearing at the reunion ..called " A Mother's Prayer". After the performance a line was formed to have her autography her new album " When I look Down The Road". When it was my turn I said, "Melissa may I give you a hug of thanks"? She hopped up and as we parted I told her about what "through eyes" had meant to me and then she gave me a hug I'm not likely to forget ....and thanked me....pictures tell that story.

It was then back to work and Hung too had me fully booked, yet we did squeeze in some dental work on me...improving my smile. Hung is the most generous and considerate man I think I have ever met. Most of the people I read were either past employees or patients. Their love for him is very special. How many work 7 days a week, in the office at 7 and always on call. I read an article about his father> An interesting story ...and what a success story. Hung should write a book. His life story is very inspiring. On the nights I did not have readings, Hung took me via video to Las Vegas, what a relaxing treat.

The time did pass very quickly, but must admit my brain was weary and I was anxious to get back to Gracie and my regular routine. I came home filled with new faces, interesting stories and with a most grateful heart to my hostess and host. I believe it was a successful trip and according to both Carol and Hung there is already a waiting list so I'm hoping to return in March/April. Thanks again to all.
www.elliescorner.com

Some 13th Reunion Pictures

www.elliescorner.com

TIBITS........

My evening with Madge and Nancy for their Life Line group
was most enjoyable. Madge's home is beautiful and she is
a very gracious hostess, opening her home for meetings.
I had never been to Harbor Town and was very impressed
with the area, you sure don't feel your in Memphis.
The room was overflowing and I was thrilled with their
undivided attention and direct and interesting questions.
Think the evening could have gone on for awhile longer.
I hope they will invite me back. Thanks girls for a memorable
time.

Sunday at First Unity Church was also a joy. A small group but
did allow us to work in small groups, amazing them with
their psychic abilities...Open discussion and questions
seems to always set the mood as to where the group
interest are.

13th Reunion of the Golden Rose

We again are looking forward to being together in our spiritual
reunion home of Hungry Mother State Park in Virginia

It seems almost impossible that 13 years ago we headed to Vermont
to attend a workshop. Elwood had invited me to come and work with him,
which was always a treat for me.Hearing this news my group here
insisted they come too. Those original gals have been coming to my
home for dinner once a month, it's always fun to recall those long ago
fun days. They all have heard so much about Elwood, had heard several of
my readings with him and were excited the opportunity would each one
to have a reading with Elwood.

Within days I was talking to Dottie, in New York, telling her of our plans, several
days later she called back to say " they too were coming" A favorite word
Elwood loved to say" spontaneity" came into my thoughts. So in Vermont
north met the south. The week of companionship and special interest
bonded us all. With sad goodbye's it was felt, we must do this again.

I must admit I have been astounded with the dedication so many have had
in attending every year, giving up precious vacation time with their families.

Many changes have been made from those early days. They were all pre-programed
by me, leaving little free time. I felt I needed to provide a week from morning to
evening. Must admit we all were exhausted trying to cram so much in a few days,
not to mention sore fannies.

At first I was a one man army, and sure they got tired of hearing just me. As
time passed and many overcame their shyness and built up their confidence
they began to participate, making it far more interesting, diversified and allowing
all to share their special interest and gifts. I love it now, more than most realize,
watching with delight and observing their growth. As a teacher I can not express
the joy it brings.

I feel this year will be no different. With sadness their are always a few of our regulars who can not attend, a few who have missed in the past will be returning, and we will be welcoming several new faces. Through the years we have been happy to see and welcome new people, who have blended and become another member of our family.

Our schedule again will be rather open to allow changes and added programs.
Saturday will remain the same, my opening, introductions, outline of week and
channeling that night. Our healers will be gathering each morning starting on
Sunday. Our healers have really enjoyed this time together, healing those in need, but joining their energies for a special group healing..

Afternoon sessions begin at 1:00, this allows more free time. Break for dinner about
5:30 or 6:00 and returning for evening session about 7:30. Our closing could be 10 or 11 depending on program. One might think after a full day everyone would be eager to heard for the bed.....but not our younger ones, it's off to gather around the open fireplace Laughter can sometimes be heard until the wee hours. Many lasting friendships have been made around the fire.

We schedule a free day on Wednesday...after all this is vacation too...many like to
shop in neighboring towns , hike, rest and gather for deep conversations. In the past
on Wednesday also included our annual visit to the Barter theatre. We have seen so
many wonderful shows in this charming and famous theatre. This year, due to
remodeling the main stage there will be nothing showing during our time there
....I know everyone will be disappointed.

An open invitation to all who would like to be apart of this weeks schedule, please
let me know.

So circle your calendars.... September 18th to 26th...See you then.

Walking in enlightened LOVE,

Ellie

www.elliescorner.com

Life in Olive Branch

Life in Olive Branch for me, has been filled with company.

Each year for about the past 25 years Peter Close has made is
annual visit to me. This year Maryann and I split his time between us.
This was his second visit to Grenada. He had several reading there
and also took a side trip to Jackson. Everyone was thrill with his
flower reading demonstration.

Back in Olive Branch his bookings were quite full, many returning
for their second and third time having a reading. Peter has become
and old friend to most and they all look forward to his visit. Peter
also was apart of two of my Tuesday classes. It gave everyone
additional time with him and he answered many questions. Peter
has the answers, yet his one important suggestion is:

dedication, dedication, practice, practice.

As a teacher himself he knows the importance of developing your
skills to this work.

I was double blessed to have Sylvie from Atlanta also come while
Peter was here. Peter and I met Sylvie in Virginia Beach at Robert
Brown's retreat, She attended my reunion in Hungry Mother and shared
her many talents with us. She is very bright and fun to be around. She
is a certified teacher of Deproc Chorpa and we are hopeful she will
return here to provide a weekend meditation workshop..yummy.

March also was June's 50th birthday. A lovely party has held to
celebrate this event. Nancy from Chicago came to join in the fun.
She stayed for a week and also participated in my Tuesday class.
Nancy has, since I met her and her husband in the Bahamas ,has
joined us at our reunions.

The first of April my next visitors were Dr. Hung Liu and his wife
Evelyn. One delightful couple. I first met Hung and Evelyn
at Robert's retreat in Virginia Beach. They came to our reunion
last year. What an asset Hung was not only in the morning healing
sessions but also his skills as a acupuncturist. I believe almost
everyone got a treatment. They both came for soul readings.
I did mange to squeeze a quick look at Graceland but most of
the time was visiting mixed with those who came for a session.
Hung even worked on Gracie. What a lovely and generous man
Hung is, I feel so pleased to call them both special friends and
can hardly wait till they return.

My spare time now is planning for our reunion in September.
I believe this will be another great time together. Please remember
deposits due before May 1st.

Much love and hugs,
Ellie
www.elliescorner.com

Thought for the Day

Sometimes our light goes out but is blown again into flame by an encounter with another human being.
